Time Stamp :85th Of Fall 512
Who: Kyra/Clyde
Who: Kyra/Clyde
It was another bright fall morning, a new day fresh from the rewards of the nights rain, leaving the surrounding forest lively and a blissful calm in the trees. The fields of Syliras, those that were once filled with crops and workers tending to them, were all but empty, as the season's end came close, and the workers had harvested all that they could in preparation for the winter.
Kyra sat quietly, nestled against a thick branch, hanging somewhat low from a leafless tree. She stared out into the distance, noticing people here and there, some out for a walk perhaps, and others doing some type of work. She was growing bored now, after having been sitting there for some time now. Clyde had asked that she meet him there for another experiment and after the fun she had with the last one, Kyra was all too happy to agree.
Still, he was late, and while she didn't mind waiting for him, she was starting to feel really bored. A subtle sigh slipped from her lips and suddenly, she turned her body and allowed it to slip off the branch. She landed on the ground below with a thud, both feet planted firmly on the ground as she kneeled down. Standing again, she looked around for him, then turned and started to walk around a bit.
This forest was unknown to her mostly, somewhat different than the wild lands, although fairly similar. As she walked, she noticed a wayward branch, reaching out, it's bark twisted and almost limp as it barely touched the ground in front of her. It wasn't a large branch by any means, and she surly couldn't have climbed up, but she had another idea. Reaching to her hip, she pulled the dagger free and wrapped her fingers around it tightly.
Taking a step back, Kyra lounged forward striking at the branch with her dagger and then pulling back. She repeated this step, lounging forward again, stabbing at the branch with her dagger and pulling away. She moved around a bit, taking in the sight of the branch, and the cuts and grooves in the bark. Again she dashed forward, stabbing the branch with her dagger, only this time it became stuck. The confused kelvic, blinked twice as she looked to her hand, now dagger free, before following the invisible trail back to the tree. "There you are.."
Moving back to the tree, Kyra pulled her dagger free, and started the steps over again.
