Fall 16th, 512AV Jakobi's Yard Continuation from Here The day before had been horrible, simply un-fantastic, a recap of the situation would have went as such, the voice in her head reconstructed the scene; "Ana! Because you're a dolt! You have to learn how to take care of mutts!" a rather unlike Jakobi scolded at her, and commanded, the total bad guy those few moments. Then Ana had replied as such "but Jakobi, you and I BOTH know I absolutely hate dogs, it would do me no good to learn about them!" She quibbled, as the victem. FACE SLAP! The imaginary Jakobi struck the day dreaming Ana; she shook her head quickly, breaking out of her daze and looking up at her lover. Pouting at him for having of clapped his hands together so near to her face, it was down right cruel that he had done that- he nearly gave her a heart attack. Okay, maybe Jakobi hadn't smacked her the face so hard that she saw stars in her vision yesterday, but oh she wished he did. It would have given her reason to not come to the Yard today to work, she would have quit just like that, super quick, and without any sort of remorse. Of course she was blowing this entire thing out of proportion, but she couldn't help it- she didn't want to learn how to take care of dogs. They were just useless mongrels anyways. "C'mon Anasol, don't give me that lip" Jakobi scolded her, she shot him a look that said she didn't want to listen. "I don't see why I should be learning about them!" She exhasperated to him, looking down at the wrestling puppies, "we're not dog groomers." "Yes, I know this Anasol, but I think this would be a great learning-" Ana cut him off, seethingly too "learning experience my arse, you saw what happened yesterday, I'm totally not cut out for taking care of dogs." Jakobi facepalmed and sighed, quite obviously getting frustrated with her and her inability to cooperate with him. She watched as he looked up from his hand, fingers tapping thoughtfully, eyes distant as he must have been formulating a reply. "Why.." Ana gave him a dirty look. "Now just hear me out Anasol, please; I'm not doing this to make it hard on you, forbid that you get rabies, but they aren't staying long in the Spires anyways. You can at least handle half a seasons worth of puppies, and then be done with it." He let his hands fall, and float to his sides much like a weighing scale would have as he explained. Ana had to admit he had a point there. She crossed her arms, letting her gaze rest on the puppies contemplating his words; what could it hurt to just learn a little? Maybe the information would proove useful later on, she mused quietly to herself before throwing her hands up in defeat "Okay! You win, teach me what you know Jakobi." Ana said with a heavy tone of annoyance to her voice, he just smiled at her. "It's not about winning or losing Anasol, its about getting the job done." Ana looked at him strangely, and he shrugged, he must have been hiding something. |
