Illusions
Very quickly did the world seem to grow bigger before him once Artur entered the city of Alvadas, its illusions played reflective towards his nature to display a vividly colorful and mysterious place. While he lingered there hoping to learn what little he could of the place, his interests quickly centered on the thing that kept him satisfied the most. Food had always been an indulgence he could never get enough of, but he quickly picked up on the culinary art like it were a second nature to him. With his nose and his gut to be his guide he learned the basics in due time, yet his curiosities started to wander about the waters near the shore. The Suvan proved to be irresistibly close as he wondered what awaited him at the other side, and due to an impulsive desire to explore he bid farewell to those he considered friends within the city. Alvadas had much in store for the Kelvic but the world awaited him next, and he just couldn't wait to see just what rested beyond all that water.
Horizons
The trip across the Suvan proved to be hectic as Artur quickly found himself constantly in a sickness, unable to stomach the ride for much longer he was finally glad to have arrived at the next destination he found. Syliras had been a major step up from where he had came from, and he had much to learn in the time he would spend within the city. He managed to meet several interesting people and try a few new things, overall though he found it a place not as desirable to stay in as Alvadas. It looked too small and too cramped to dwell within for him, but when he quickly learned of the outer wilds that resided just within the city outskirts, Artur quickly started to find himself a secondary home to call for the time being. The potential that existed in staying here looked more and more promising, and yet just when things finally started to look up for Artur, a chance of fate had decided to pull him along elsewhere.
His road would quickly become one filled with darkness and despair, and it would put his will to the test as he endeavored to pull through.
Capture
Slavers are not the kind of people to be friends with, and while Artur had yet to learn this that quickly became remedied. When a group of men brutally apprehended Artur they drug him onward and away from his home away from home, the vast reaches of the wilderness the next setting that came to play. His adventure led him to be shepherded to Ravok and sold to the Kelvic Research Facility, an institution that quickly proved to be a most unfavorable place. Yet the position Artur found himself in only grew worse and worse, as he not only proved be a subject to their tests, but a prisoner to his own inner turmoil as his emotions started to get out of hand.
Slowly he descended into a state of depression and solitude while in his confinement, and sure enough he started to struggle with the comprehension behind what these emotions truly were. His mind evolved due to the extent of his thinking but it still remained a book, with an abundance of empty pages heavily outnumbered the ones he'd already filled. After what felt like a lifetime of torture with experiments, the time came where he was finally freed from the shackles that chained him to the facility, yet it had been done so at a greater cost. Artur lost the ability to bear any more children, thus the soul present at the time took pity for him and presented a chance for freedom. That freedom however quickly changed a lot of the Kelvic as he soon learned more about where he was, and how merciless the city on the lake could really be.
Sovereignty
The time he spent under Kelvin Gyatt's care allowed for a small chance of recuperation, but that time grew short the moment another just so happened to find an interest in the Kelvic. Miro found himself with an opportunity to own the poor bear, and didn't let the chance to accomplish this go to waste either. Not long after Artur found himself a slave to work his debt off to Gyatt, Miro repaid that debt in full with the use of his hypnotic powers to sway the two under his whim. With the manipulation set into their minds and the bargain made, Artur then fully belonged to Miro under the impression he would be a happy little Kelvic. Though that proved to be even farther from the truth.
Overtime his own mood worsened as he felt depressed, and the difference of attitude his new master had hardly improved the situation. Things only grew darker there as more manipulative thoughts were subjected onto Artur, placing false implications that he still lived as a happy pet to Miro instead. This in turn began to warp his perspective of the world, and his ability to understand became twisted as a result of consequence. While he found himself able to better mentally grasp things, he hardly found interest in a particular subject for an extended period of time. It wouldn't be much longer until a familiar face would return once more, to set Artur free from the shackles he'd found himself in under Miro's care. Gyatt managed to find the Kelvic once his master went missing, and with a few pulled strings set up one last act of charity to help the lost Kelvic. What damages that had occurred in his time as a slave could probably never be undone, but Gyatt wanted to save what was left of Artur before the city consumed the last light of innocence he still had.
The only question that remains; did that attempt come later than it should've? Only Artur's time as a free Kelvic would tell, as he could freely roam the lands of Sylira once more. However his venture took him further beyond its borders, and beyond the neighboring see of grass...
