Personality
A very clever girl, Grace has a thirst for discovery, and if it brings her riches, all the better. She has no qualms about doing what needs to be done and in the broad scope of things might be considered callous. She is a devoted faithful Qayala and has great passion for preserving the history of life in records, painstaking kept with every discovery. She has a fierce instinct for survival, and has learned to defend herself well. She has great retention of detail, offering her the upper hand in any argument of history. She has the skill to make people believe what she says to insure they do what she needs to further her own course, and most of the time, they will not know she has played them until it's too late. She thrives on seeing what she can get away with, using her sweet face and any charm she might have to exploit the exploitable and having little remorse for her actions.

Grace loves the thrill of discovery, it is like a drug to her, feeding her passion for more. She has an affinity for solitude, often times enjoying her own company to that of others. She loves good food almost to the point of making it a vulnerability.

Pre-Creation
Grace was raised by her father, having lost her mother to sickness at the age of 4. She has virtually no memories of the woman who gave birth to her, only vague images that manifest in her dreaming life and those few stories shared by her father. Henry Cady raised his daughter to follow in his footsteps, giving her the tools to unearth the past and profit from it. When she was old enough to write, she became his official scribe, recording all his discoveries and the surrounding history. Through daily life, he instilled in her a great faith for Qayala, one of the purest things in her life. He turned her into a precise keeper of the tales and a ruthless extractor of the riches that history held.
When her father passed, Grace picked up the baton of his quest and continued searching the world for mysteries and riches.
