Wyatti nodded and watch Arianthe start the fire. She understood the concern, and knew herself it would be foolish to try and venture out in her state. The rest would do her no harm after all, and simple observing will help in her understanding the outside world. After watching for a time Wyatti surrendered to the notions of rest, sleeping where ever she fell in the warmth and security of the room.
It was during her time with Arianthe, that Wyatti recovered; her mind quickly becoming relaxed to the idea of being around humans, knowing that the many they were far from ill intent. It was also safe, and despite Arianthe she was rarely disturbed, giving her time to reflect, to understand and to accept the events that had passed, even if they were indeed painful ones. She began to express free will and understanding, realising she was not always a mindless beast that her previous 'master' portrayed her to be. Time after all had proven itself to be the greatest healer.
Here freedom existed, here she could do as she pleased-within reason-, even if it was simply remaining quiet and watching, studying and understanding. Occasionally she would go right up to the woman, intently watching and studying, filling her previously empty mind with thoughts and notions. When questions were asked the Kelvic answered to the best of her ability, though most of the time those answers were short. Most of the time Wyatti was trying to understand what the human was doing, what her purpose was and her intent; surrounding herself with paper and notes seemed rather sombre. But the Kelvic kept herself entertained, knowing that when Arianthe was studying it was perhaps best not to disturb her.
It was little after a week that Wyatti left, or more over simply disappeared into the night. She took what little did belong to her, and vanished through the door, it clicking quietly as she left. She chose her opportunity then over all times, there would after all be less people to see her, and so less people with the chance of finding her. She had by now relied on the woman enough, and although the departure was sudden, Wyatti did not know how else to leave. It was -in her mindset- for the better this way, no words, no pleading or begging, it was clean. She looked back once at the roof she had been staying under, a brief, silent look of regret on her face, before she turned on her heel and walked away with a limp.
One day, I will pay you back for your kindness. One day.
