Gender: Female Physical Description Standing in at 5 feet 6 inches Miria weighs in normally around 164 pounds depending on how she's been taking care of herself. Long black hair with the occasional streaks of color in the right light the Coolwater normally does not fuss with how her looks for longer then ten chimes.A vibrant personality paired with a knowing gaze Miria's eyes are known to stare at others for a given length of time betraying her feelings for that individual. Usually excited with a matching smirk or grin to match, this Vantha's personality has not seem to have changed over the years. Dressing comfortably Miria covers herself well against the elements of Taldera and the wandering eye of disagreeable men. Though occasionally willing to flaunt her assets this Vantha makes sure that her teasing just stays as that, playful fun. There was a time where she would dress to impress certain people around her but those days along with her enthusiasm for travel are long behind her. With those experiences leaving Miria a good impression on how the world works. People change, real life is hard and true lasting love a myth. Though Miria understands this she is always willing to love others on a platonic level even though they might not feel the same. Life is too short and too cruel to not find the little pleasures of having someone to simply be with. Miria is usually guarded from committed relationship but she like everyone else wishes to find her soulmate. On occasion Miria is willing to have wild flings with others if given enough of a reason. An interesting note about that during her times growing up in Skyglow Hold she was very interesting in tattoos. Rather then sculpting or painting she let herself be the canvas accumulating small pieces of art on her back. Usually abstract in design she plans out small parts at a time to create a collage of lines and curves. There is little to no pattern after spending so much time with it over the years as the ink now reaches from the slight in her back and up to her shoulder blades. Though through initial social interactions Miria may seem dainty or otherwise defenseless one hard look into her eyes and you will see the true nature of this Vantha. After looking after herself, by herself, for so long she has obtained a resilience not normally found in everyday folk. After spending day after day in the archery ranges her arm and back muscles have developed to the point where she can draw her composite short bow with very little conscious effort. That spark in her eye? That comes from the constant drive to not only better herself but her land of Avanthal. Spending her free days at the library or outside on a bench reading a book Miria maintains a high sense of commitment to her given way of life. Being a Vantha comes with it's quirks! Their eyes shimmer different hues depending on what that particular Vantha is feeling. All of Morwen's children share this trait but each of them has their own spectrum to follow. Yellow – Happiness Orange - Fearlessness Blue – Playfulness Green – Anxiousness Hazel - Sadness Character Concept Personality – A ball of limitless drive and joy. Miria is the type to find small pleasures in what she does. Miria is most likely wary and skeptical meeting someone new for the first time but easily warms up to those that stick around. She is sympathetic to the plights of others yet expects everyone to do their share. The archer treats everyone new with the same attitude before deciding what to make of their relationship. Acquaintances, colleagues, friends or one of her loves are how she normally sees others. Miria gives everyone a chance and only through constant early harassment will she lose her temper. Miria is the type to try to see others in a positive light first before anything. Regarding people closely, Miria is the type to confront others wholeheartedly without reservations. If she feels something is amiss she is the type to make sure that her concerns are voiced. Though not particularly fond of leadership roles Miria has no qualms with taking charge if it is of needed of her. After meeting her for the first time the term wallflower is a description long lost on Miria Coolwater. Ethics - Do what you want with your life. Do what is you feel is necessary. Nothing more, nothing less. Most importantly die with no regrets.Miria understands the importance of laws and it's keen observation but sees the exceptions to the rule. Miria has killed man and beast alike to serve her interests but the former only when deemed necessary. As long as it does not harm that which she holds dear to her it is alright. Likes – Archery, reading alone, listening to stories relating to her many interests, sharing a burden with a friend, certain animals, braiding a friend's hair, deepening relationships, teasing younger boys and girls, kissing when she feels excited, slapping or grabbing at cute taut butts, getting swept off her feet. Dislikes - Religion of other races, bullies, people who just complain, dealing with the elderly, the topic of death, hearing about how her 'deceased' husband is doing, people who keep her in suspense, people that talk dirty, Ravok, malicious mages and snakes. Character History Miria has always has had a young mind obsessed with what she loved. From an early age she would play with the other children of Skyglow when they were outside in the snow. That was where she met her childhood friend Laforte. Developing a lingering puppy love for each other they spent they grew very close as the years went on. Though as it was time for Miria to marry she was not able to truly come into terms with her feeling for him her parents unwillingly arranged a marriage for the love stunted vantha. When asked why she merely explains that she did not know how to love anyone else besides Laforte. Unsure if her feelings were genuine Miria spaced herself away from the thought of being together with him for the rest of their life. After spending the years Miria finally realized that her feelings for him were the strongest she had felt with anyone. Both of them being a pair so natural and just right she regretted having any second thoughts about her childhood friend. Yet the pair was never able to happen. After her honeymoon with her new Coolwater husband Laforte also married when Miria finally came back from her trip. Miria felt no feelings of hatred at Laforte or his new wife but rather wished them the best of wishes. People change, real life was hard and true love a myth. Speaking of wives and husbands Miria not only changed her Skyglow name but also found new interests as she changed holds. Days after Miria was married to the Coolwater Morello she accompanied her family on their grand planned trip to Wind Reach. Bringing along a stockpile of Avanthal goods they planned to make a fortune at Wind Reach selling the various furs and leatherwork they have and buying the beads and birds that SkyInarta had to offer back to Avanthal. Sailing off into the distance Miria's heart grew a little more venturing into the unknown world outside of Avanthal. Their first destination being Denval Miria took the time to get acquainted with her new in laws and husband. She learned about their various quirks, shared the same responsibilities and enjoyed each other's company. Miria also got the chance to familiarize herself with various boat terms and how ships worked. Though most of that information was lost after the trip Miria fell in love with the feeling of the wind in her hair and eventually her new husband. Docking in Denval provided the new couple some time alone as they spent two weeks touring the city together. Romantic boat rides and just walking the streets hand in hand won Miria over spending such tender times she did not thing possible. The pair having their prenuptial agreements when their first time as man and wife finally happened. They were at sea that day ironing out the finer details with an evening under the covers and a bit of shouting. Finally a warmth became associated with Morello Miria had not felt since... Soon they were back on course reaching Wind Reach in the Spring of 511 AV. That was when her avid interest in archery was sparked in the newlywed Vantha. With the extensive types of ranges available at Wind Reach it did not take long for Miria to be engrossed with the extensive science of archery. Seeing the strong interest Morello supported Miria in this endeavor promising to even help set up a business with her when this trip was done. Absolutely ecstatic about their new hobby Miria spent most of her three weeks in Wind Reach learning what there was to know about archery. Of course she also toured Morello seeing what else the city had to offer and helped the family during the two market days but otherwise scoped out new places to learn her new craft. Returning back to Denval for a week and then finally back to Avanthal they returned as small time legends with more mizas then they knew what to do with. After selling off their newly acquired goods from Wind Reach Morello's parents retired happily as they left the newlyweds with enough money to start a small time business. Miria making the arrows and Morello making the bows this were the times that Miria enjoyed most with her husband. Though she did not realize it until much later Morello grew distant coming back to Avanthal. Then suddenly one day Morello informed Miria of his plans to join the Icewatch much to her surprise. The initiation required initiates to brave and survive the wastes, the latter which Morello did not. Miria's husband did not return back to her leaving her to fend for herself quite suddenly. The business they had built together withered away as Miria coped with her lost. Thankfully she was not alone. Her new family at Coolwater, her old family at Skyglow and her lifelong friend were there to support her through these new tough times.
