While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

The soft padding of C'Arya's paws against the forest floor was nearly silent, although, the rustling of dying leaves gave the tigress away. Her movements drew Aello's steady gaze, her shift, a relentless eternity filled with a lack of surprise. A hardened line where lips lay at rest, paling with the whistling winds and mounting cool within the air.

"Aello," she whispered as Zulrav's breath swept her words away, "and Lily," she added in indication of the clay figure perched upon her shoulder. Leaving the remaining Kelvic's name unspoken; just in case she wished to introduce herself.

Or not...

"We were just going for a hunt," the aurist explained. "You may come if you'd like. If you can keep yourself silent..."

The Treaver allowed her voice to trail off as she stepped past the new girl. "Lead Nai, and let the rest of us kill whatever you find."

[Jade Pool] Swimming in the Wilds

Postby Nai'a on January 21st, 2013, 8:41 am

Nai'a knew she heard an animal walking in the woods, she just could not discern if it was one with hooves or paws. Now that she heard what paws on the forest floor sounded like, she would know the difference of hooves walking on the floor. This hunting in the wilds was going to be a learning experience for Nai'a, and she was some what excited to learn this.

Aello spoke to the tiger that turned into a red headed woman in a swirl of gold, just as quickly as the swirls appeared, the woman was formed. Introducing herself and inviting her on their hunting trip. Aello was ready to hunt, and so was Nai'a, and having a tiger along with them could prove to be helpful. As most tigers had great eye sight, and Nai'a had poor eye sight. They could both use their heightened senses to hunt down some prey.

Aello stepped past the new girl, telling Nai'a to lead the way, and Nai'a nodded. She kept silent this whole time, watching the situation unfold before she spoke.

She looked at the tiger kelvic and smiled warmly at her. "I am Nai'a, the dolphin Kelvic. It is a pleasure to meet a former kelvic. Please come with us hunting, I have poor eye sight and your eye sight could prove to be useful, if you'd like to join us?" Nai'a spoke softly, like that of a healer, to C'Arya keeping the warm and friendly smile on her face.

Nai'a did not wait for her to answer, she stepped past the woman and Aello and began the journey into the depths of the woods. She hoped the woman would follow, the more the merry, at least that is how Nai'a felt about it. She walked on with a purpose, keeping her senses open to the nature that surrounded them, waiting to hear the slightest of movements of a cautious prey, or the scent of the emptying their bladders, or other. Nai'a scrunched her nose, she hoped that she did not smell the other, the intense smell of their urine was torture enough. Nai'a chuckled to herself at her thoughts, and cleared her mind, so she would not miss anything that may be waiting for them in the forest.

[Jade Pool] Swimming in the Wilds

Postby Laioath on January 21st, 2013, 10:14 am

Laioath wanders beyond his hometown, Zeltiva. He wasn’t searching for anything. For the first time in his life, he decided to take a stroll. Following his feet, he walks a rocky path. Carrying his Earnis on his back, as well as a few minor dolls in his bag, he begins to engage in a light conversation with them. He did this to distract himself from the pain his legs were in from walking, but it did little to nothing, instead of chatting to them he complains.

After walking a fair distance, Laioath becomes exhausted. He wipes the sweat from his brow with his arm, before retrieving his waterskin from his bag and drinking it. The water was warm. Each sip was like drinking boiling water in the dessert, but Laioath knows he needs to keep his fluids up. He continues walking, following a beaten path.

As he continues walking, something could be heard, its water. The sound of water was like a siren’s song to laioath, sweaty and exhausted, it’s what he really wants. He follows the sound, rushing towards it as if he’s a six year old boy, completely ignoring his surroundings and only focused on his wants. He could only see the pool from a distance. He rushes closer, and closer. He could feel the water on his face. His watery utopia was almost in reach.

Rushing past Nai’a and Aello in the forrest, he greets the pool and scooping up the water, splashing it on his face. Each splashed was like pure energy, cleansing his very soul. The water drips from every edge of his face, he looks as if he was melting. He takes off his backpack, and Earnis, and sets them down beside a rock. He Soon he strips off his clothing leaving his undergarments, before dipping himself in the pool. Laioath sits in the pool in tranquillity, not a care in the world… until, he realized something.

Laioath looks over his shoulder behind him, and sees two women standing there. His face looks at them with embarrassment. He opens his mouth, trying to push words out of his mouth. “H-h-h-how l-long have y-you guys been s-standing there…?” he stutters, as he sinks under the water, oblivious to the temperature.

OOCSorry, its the only way i could think of entering

[Jade Pool] Swimming in the Wilds

Postby C'Arya Tomva on January 22nd, 2013, 4:25 am

C’Arya’s offer to join their, Aello and Nai’a, hunt was met with open arms. Nai had introduced herself then said, “Please come with us hunting, I have poor eyesight and your eyesight could prove to be useful, if you'd like to join us?” She nodded in reply, smiling. The last time she had been hunting was a few days ago, and hunger was now gnawing at her belly. It was rare to meet another Kelvic, let alone an aquatic one. Her voice was that of a healer, soft and soothing, and it relaxed C’Arya’s tense muscles. She sighed unintentionally, rolling her neck. Nai’a did not wait for any further reply, and pushed past the red haired girl and Aello.

C’Arya followed her, and so did Aello. She perked her ears up, cocking her head from side to side, eyes scanning the forest as they walked. Her ears straining, she heard what sounded like footfalls, coming from a path near theirs. As the footfalls drew nearer, they turned into a run. Soon a figure was visible, running straight towards them, or rather, to the pool. She dodged out of his way, tracking his movements with her eyes. He stopped at the pool and started guzzling water. He then striped off his clothes so he was down to his underwear and dove in. He sat there peacefully, until, all of a sudden, he seemed to notice the three girls staring at him. The man stuttered out, “H-h-h-how l-long have y-you guys been s-standing there…?” sinking underwater out of embarrassment.

C’Arya’s replay came in the form of an action. She walked up to him, never breaking eye contact with the man. She lowered herself into the pool and neared the man, until they were only inches apart. The man looked even more flustered for some reason. Who ever he was, he was a stranger, and when a stranger invades a tiger’s pack, they get hurt. She put her arms on his shoulders and flashed him her razor sharp teeth, in a kind of smile. She whispered to him, “Think and look before you act, especially when a tiger is involved.” As fast as a whip, she brought her fist down on his temple, a competent unarmed fighter she was, and he went limp. She picked him up and dragged him to the side of the pool, next to his pack. She then looked back at the other girls and asked, “What should we do with him? He shall wake in a few minutes.”

[Jade Pool] Swimming in the Wilds

Postby Aello on January 23rd, 2013, 5:22 am

Aello's gaze grew to be as relentless as that of the pycon upon her shoulder; unblinking. Her muddied irises held a smoldering edge as she looked upon the tigress. What a peculiar girl, she thought to herself as her fist tightened around her father's old bow, and she took a deep breath to steady herself, in through the nose and out through the mouth, before striding over to the edge of the jade pools.

Thin tendrils of colored smoke swirled angrily around her feet as her eyes darkened, and she came to rest beside the unconscious man. One knee resting against the ground, the other held tightly against her chest.

Lily rose, and slid down the length of the aurist's arm as the woman settled.

"Leave him," she whispered as the pycon landed with a soft thud upon the tanned man's flesh. Shimmering with beads of transparent moisture. Her tiny clay feet slipped along the surface, kneading his back as he stared into the blackness. "He's no fighter. He's even lankier than I am," she whispered, as she studied the sodden ends of his raven colored hair.

"Perhaps we should leave before he awakens," Aello continued as she rose. "We could always continue the hunt."

Lily looked up at her. Cocked her head.

It seemed she thought her mistress rather queer.

[Jade Pool] Swimming in the Wilds

Postby Nai'a on January 24th, 2013, 7:29 pm

Nai’a was not sure what was going on, she saw a naked boy in the water, hiding out of humiliation, then she saw C’Arya pounce him, delivering a blow to his head, knocking him out. Nai’a stood there silent, as she watched C’Arya bring drag him out of the depths of the water, depositing him at the side of the pool, asking what to do with him.

Aello approached kneeling beside the young man, her pycon walking on his back, then she made the assertion to just leave the poor soul there, in the cold, naked and unconscious. Nai’a of course had other plans, her healer instincts kicked in over drive.

”We will not just leave the poor guy here like this. It is uncalled for, he has done nothing to us, simply at the wrong place at the wrong time.” Nai’a walked over to the young man, placing her hands at either side of his head, a soft warm glow appeared at her palms, then went away just as quickly. The bruising from C’Arya’s fist disappearing. ”He should be fine now, and he should be awake by now as well. Maybe he is pretending to be asleep due to the fact he is too afraid to wake?” Nai’a spoke these words in calm, soothing voice that did not match the rage inside her. The young man had done nothing wrong, yet he deserved to be hit and knocked unconscious, then left here? No she would not tolerate such coldness from other individuals. Nai’a took her cloak off her body, and placed it on the young mans, waiting for him to wake.

[Jade Pool] Swimming in the Wilds

Postby Aello on January 31st, 2013, 3:31 am

An uneasy smile crossed Aello's lips. "It's surprising you of all people would forget Nai'a, considering your link to the tigress." Her eyes sparkled knowingly as she looked down upon the unconscious body. "You forget that she just shifted once at the very least, so she'll be tired." The huntress paused as she looked back up at the dolphin, her lips curling into an even wider grin. "Even though she's stronger than I could ever hope to be, her fortitude has fled, and she has miscalculated. At most, I'd say he'd be out for a few minutes... just enough for us to conceal ourselves from his sight. Keep him from further embarassment..."

Her voice trailed off for quite some time. "And in any case, I'd rather not make another enemy. Even if it is a rather weak one," Aello added with some thread of disdain. "I have enough as is," she whispered as she bent to pick up her companion and move away. "Anyway, he's fine now, so we'll be going now before the prey shifts. You're still welcome to come if you like," she added as she padded across the forest floor and into the line of trees.

Losing the pools.
