[Aradia]

Aradia inhaled a deep breath, calming the rage inside her. It wasn’t fair to become so angry at a man that did not know the value of kindness; it wasn’t really his fault that this city polluted his soul. Aradia rubbed her temples and looked at Noric, ”I am leaving, thank you for making up my mind on that. You did not upset me, this whole damn city upsets me, so maybe I will see you around again, maybe not. Either way, I hope whatever path you find yourself on, that you find happiness along it Noric.”

Aradia gave Noric a weak smile, a fake smile, which did not reach her eyes as she turned away from him, and walked away. She had hope that she found someone that stood out amongst the darkness, and plus it helped that he was so attractive. She would miss his handsome face, and his company. But he was right, even if his words were like a dagger twisting in her heart, he was right. Aradia banished the tears from her eyes, she was not going to cry anymore, and this hardened the softness of Aradia, as she fought away the tears and raging emotions, walking down the darkened streets of Ravok, heading to the Silver Sliver to get ready for work. At least she would find some comfort in singing, even if it was pointless. She supposed she would not sing the normal songs she did; instead she would give the citizens of Ravok what they wanted.

[Noric Sidhe]

Noric nodded to her, slipping his hands inside his pockets when she turned to leave. It was a shame that she was such a nice person. They really could have gotten along very well if Aradia wasn't such a righteous person. Noric and goody-goodies didn't mix so well. But he was sure that if he really, truly wanted to, he could find her again. Maybe one day she could be of use to him. One day. Until then, he wouldn't bother thinking about the plans that could have been. There were bigger fish to fry. Always something to do here in Ravok. Something to steal, someone to blackmail, or a fortune to topple. He smiled at the last glimpse he caught of her flaming hair before she was swallowed by the shadows between buildings.

One day, little lamb. You'll see me again, don't you worry your pretty little red head. Noric started whistling a happy tune as he made his way back home, already rolling over some new ideas in his head. Busy, busy.
