What sort of celebrations and or holidays would be—or are—held in Ravok? Would there be any similar to the Carnival in Venice? It seems like it'd be a great opportunity for Players and Storytellers alike to have an interesting event like this, only in Mizahar flavors. People in masks in Ol' Rhysol's Ravok, and giving characters the possibility of being up to anonymous mischief and running amok. Rhysol might like the idea of such chaos.

I'd imagine that such a celebration would be on hold for the time being, what with the Rising Dawn lurking about. This would allow for plenty of time to flesh it out OOC, if it sounds like an idea that's viable or wanted.

Okay, since it comes up so much, I decided to make a video of how to change your name. I then proceeded to horribly mess up throughout the video, but I am too lazy to do another, so you'll just have to bear with me. http://youtu.be/uZiLs-cClcw And if you don't want to watch the video, here are the steps. Click User Control Panel Click Profile Click Edit Account Settings Type your new name in the Username field. Enter your password in the Current Password field at the bottom. Hit submit. Log out of Mizahar entirely. This means log out of the chat, and log out of the forum. Close your browser entirely. This means close all the websites. Reopen your browser. Go back to Mizahar.com Log in under your new name. Do all of this, and your name change should go smoothly.

Okay, so, Paragon made a video a while back, and earlier today Elysium commented on it, saying that he should expand and make a video where he sort of talks through his thoughts in replying to a post. Introducing... . . FACTIONS . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eQ01Po4Lq-A (Warning, the video may be sideways. I edited it, but it may not have taken effect yet.) Ravok is a city of factions. While most of those factions are all loyal to Rhysol, that does not mean they do not constantly work to better themselves and thwart their rivals. The great families are constantly struggling for superiority, the religions organizations seek to control everything, and even the Ravosalamen, the oft-overlooked boatmen of Ravok who hear and see everything are a faction unto themselves. Making a friend or enemy of a faction can often mean the difference between life and death in Ravok. A friend of a faction may live a luxurious life, be able to call in favors from that faction, or even promote themselves within the faction much easier. An enemy may find it harder to do business in the city, find that the people of Ravok want nothing to do with them, and may even find themselves pursued by bounty hunters. It is a constant and ever changing game played by the people of Ravok, and one with consequences both rewarding and dire. Feel free to post any of your questions here.

Oh, I also should point out that this is a very tentative launch.. if it doesn't work out, I'll throw it out. Oh, and I know it is very similar to what they have in Zeltiva. That wasn't intentional, but Paragon has already seen it and he's cool with it. And these standings only apply within Ravok.
