Blacksmithing and Weaponsmithing

There's one thing i'm confused about weaponsmithing. Would it be a skill usable on it's own? Since it probably takes some basics from blacksmithing would you need it in order to do weaponsmithing or would all that already be included in the skill itself? Thanks!

According to the lore, both skills can be used independently. Blacksmithing is the use of hammer and anvil to make tools and decorations and the like, weaponsmithing is using a hammer and anvil to make swords and axe blades and those things. I don't know whether a certain level of blacksmithing is required before you can master weaponsmithing, but I think both are independent enough that you can learn in each without needing the other.
