[Crystian] I Got This.

Postby Cephei on January 25th, 2013, 4:38 am

Crystians words struck the wrong tune on her heart strings. She did not understand why she would not give the men to the sea, as a gift, and for respect. Cephei shrugged off his comment though, not letting it get to her, as he brought her a large rock. Maybe sinking them wasn’t the best idea? Cephei thought as she grabbed the rock out of Crystians hands, and almost fell into the sea. She curled her toes in the soft sand, balancing herself, and then shoved the float body further out, while walking. She was waist deep, and the rock was becoming too heavy, so she laid it on the man and backed off quickly from the splashes.

The arctic water was freezing, making her whole body shake from the cold, she decided then that it was probably best to just place the corpses in the water. She turned to Crystian shivering, ”D-do you w-w-want to h-help me p-put them in t-t-the sea?” Cephei stammered out the words through shivers, as she walked up to another larger man, and started to drag him down to the water as well.

It was a hard effort to get the body down to the sea, tremors from the cold shook her body, and Syna’s warmth was not helping too well with that, but she had to get the men to the water. Once the body was in the water, she shoved it out to sea, and then went up the beach for another body, her body shaking so hard she could barely walk, she had to stop. These wet garments had to come off. She saw her bag and cloak up further on the shore, and decided it was best to be naked in her warm cloak, then it was to be cold in wet clothes.

Cephei’s blushing face turned to Crystian, her voice coming out between tremors, ” I…Must…C-change…Getting…N-naked.” Cephei stuttered as she walked up to the shore, and started stripping herself of her wet clothing, keeping her back to Crystian, her iridescent scales on her middle back, that swirled down to her thighs, and up to her shoulders, were now visible, glimmering in the sun rays in their iridescent colors.

[Crystian] I Got This.

Postby Crystian on January 28th, 2013, 12:58 am

Before retrieving another rock Crystian stopped to see just how Cephei would go about sinking the men. Her rigid and hampered movements in the cold wintry waters of the Suvan Sea only served to increase the arduous nature of her exhausting task. Crystian shook his head momentarily before Cephei turned round to face him and spoke in frigid words.

Giving a solemn nod to her request Crystian began to drag the pirates to sea alongside Cephei after taking from them what clothing, trinkets, and items he could make use of. Careful to not get himself wet, Crystian rolled them into the waters before retreating swiftly from the pursing tides. Among the final items he had taken, after sending the last pirate off to the sea, was a wintry fur coat.

Having been lost in moving the bodies (with the hope his dutiful new acquaintance would find peace when the task was done), he had failed to pay heed to her last set of words. Turning to her with the dead pirate’s fur coat in hand he was surprised to find her naked body before him. Her picture-esq curves and features were set on soft pale skin with a large portion of her back being covered by her white blonde hair. As the wind gently rolled her hair subtly across her back, the shining colorations of her scaled skin showed through with a kaleidoscope of hues.

Crystian found himself lost in the intricacies of the seemingly alien, yet beautiful, figure before him. Her skin itself was as colorful and shining as the decorated clothing and gemstones favored by the Drykas. No doubt many women among his tribe would envy such features. Shaking himself from his awestruck trance, Crystian moved forward deliberately. Outstretching the hand that bore the pirate’s warm coat he offered it to her with the candid and direct nature of a Drykas.

[Crystian] I Got This.

Cephei squeezed the soaking wet clothes out, wringing them repeatedly with her hands, hoping if she laid them on the rocks away from the sea that Syna would dry them quickly with her warm light. She walked over to the rocks, laying her clothes out flat on the hard crumbling surface, and then turned to see Crystian looking at her, holding out a cloak that was on one of the dead pirates.

A light pink flush came rushing to her cheeks, ”No. Thank you though. But I will not wear one of the dead’s cloaks. I have my own; I am not in need of It.” Cephei turned her body away, keeping her back to him; she walked back over to her belongings, putting her cloak on her small frame, wrapping it around her tightly to cover up her body. She looked over at the small boat, and went back to it, untying the pull in rope at the end, and wrapping it around her body, tying it off. Making a warm dress out of her cloak she turned back to Crystian.

”Would you like to try and find the larger ship in one of the coves with me?” Cephei asked pleasantly a small smile on her face, ”I do not know how to sail at all, but I figure we can learn as we go, and we will not be going out to far to sea, since their ship has to be around her somewhere. Who knows, there could be hidden treasure on their ship?” She added to last part about treasure to entice the young man into going with her, so she would not have to journey alone. Besides he was an intriguing individual and she would like to get to know him a little better, and what better way to do that then on a small boat together. Cephei kept the warm smile on her face as she looked Crystian in the eyes, waiting for him to answer her.

[Crystian] I Got This.

Postby Crystian on January 28th, 2013, 11:23 pm

Upon seeing her blush Crystian’s face softened, growing less concerned with Cephei’s mental distress over the pirates. With his focus freed from the state of her emotions on one subject, Crystian had an epiphany: she was not comfortable with him looking at her. Crystian’s head jerked quickly away and to the right. Now he too was blushing as his mind punished him for his lack of insight stupid, stupid, stupid.

Her voice broke his inner monologue. Looking at the comfortable cloak quizzically to see if there was anything wrong with it, Crystian took a moment to reassure himself that there were no tatters or bloodstains. After much thought, Crystian placed it gently on his Strider before rubbing its flanks to help warm his long-time companion.

Noticing she had finally turned to face him after covering herself, Crystian gave his attention to her once more. Her smile became part of her words and gave them a comforting feel. The waters were no place for a horseman, but then again, Crystian wasn’t truly a horseman. His youth coupled with the intrigue of adventure bested common sense. His muscles tensed and he felt the sudden urge to move up and down the coast, shackling it with an air of self restraint. “Yes,” was all he said with a bristling smile, eager to explore the world about him.

[Crystian] I Got This.

Cephei was happy to hear the Crystian say yes to accompany her. She was not a sailor, but she did know the sea pretty well, since the sea birthed her onto this land. Cephei casted those thoughts away quickly, she was always lost in thought during the day it seemed here recently, she supposed it was because she lead a lonely life, one spent in solitude with herself and a book and her training. Cephei shrugged mentally and hopped into the boat, which swayed back and forth from her sudden movement, making her throw her arms out horizontally to help gain her footing.

She did not succeed in the least at this effort though, and landed on her rear in the boat, her legs and arms flailing in the air. She let out a feminine yelp, when she landed, and flailed around like a fish out of water, before finally bringing herself up. She brushed the wrinkles from her cloak and cleared her throat, blushing from the humiliating fall.

”Ahem. So.. uhm.. Be careful when getting on the boat.” Cephei turned her back to Crystian her face burning from the intense flush upon her face, the cool breeze caressed her flamed cheeks, easing her humiliation slightly, as she sat down and grabbed one of the oars to row them. She then realized they needed to be shoved off. ”Crystian, do you think you could push the boat and hop in?” Cephei asked the boy in a pleasant voice, feeling rather stupid that she did not think about that before, but she did not know much about this sailing stuff.
