Putting The Future Together Part 5.5 of The Part of Moving On Winter 91st 512 AV; 10th Bell With each step we take we find ourselves closer up to the top, our winding path leading us on the hill we have set our goal on in life. What will we see when we reach the top? Will it be another goal to achieve or our dream? All we can do is make the steps we can, and allow time to carry us forward. Ricky was finally done getting ready for his visit he was about to make, outfitted in his uniform of the city guard he thought it best he look the part for the occasion. It was an important one after all considering he was asking for help, and should things turn out to be different from what he hoped; well at least he tried. Ricky was going to pay a visit to the Sailor's Guild, to put in a request for the future he had planned. It was to rebuild the very house he no longer had. Though he could consider it a blessing he was away during the Djed Storm he still couldn't let go of the fact that it was his home. Now that he was getting his life back in order it was time to take action, to make what he could with his abilities and show Zeltiva he was a worthy guard. He had lived as a simple citizen, the son of a sailor who grew up a fisherman. If anything the Sailor's Guild may be able to help, help with resources and manpower. Help with the reconstruction of his home. Ricky grabbed the sheet of paper Gale had drawn on, his help in bringing these plans into life made this dream feel almost like a reality; but Ricky wouldn't rest or be satisfied until he could actually see his house before his eyes. With a deep breath the humble guard prepared for whatever lies ahead, fate would no doubt be the judge of his path now. He left the cottage Hadrian allowed him to stay in, and went on to the Sailor's Guild. At the Sailor's Guild Ricky had entered the Guild Hall to search for the administrative committee, since they would likely be the ones he should report to for his request. However when he entered he looked rather lost, the antechamber clearly not what he expected. It threw him off for sure, but with a look around the room he happen to find the door he needed. The Administrative Committe Officer hung on all the other doors but Ricky took the nearest one, entering it in hopes of finding an officer waiting within. |
