[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Eida on February 9th, 2013, 11:11 am

She didn't watch while Arck was eating. But after the man threw it away Eida could look back at the fire. She wanted to be helpful for him and kind. She wasn't sleepy anyway.

-You should sleep! I'm not tired at all I don't need sleep. I will stay here awake and protect your dreams.

However everything happened fast and she had to swam to a land quickly she wasn't tired. Eida trusted on Arckhebohn. She let her lap free so the man could sleep there even in human or even in raven form. She had time now. She could wait and get awsners anytime she wanted to. And the night was long. She mustn't let Arck alone or let him stay awake more. She offered her lap to him and she reached her hands to him. She smiled at him to comfort him.

-Come sleep on me now. You can sleep in anyform you want. If anything happens I'll wake you up!

[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Arckhebohn on February 9th, 2013, 11:28 am

Arckhebohn couldn't hide his surprise this time. ~ On her... her lap? ~ This was a bit unexpected. He didn't know why she doesn't need any sleep. Or why is she wants him to sleep on her lap. He tried to clear his mind so at least he could answer without blushing or faltering.
- If it's fine with you then I don't mind it. I hope it's alright if I sleep as a raven because I'm not used to sleep in this form.

When he said that he stood up went some steps away and then as a little while earlier instead of a human a raven stood near the fire. He went close to her expecting that she will take him to her hands like last time.

In this different view she couldn't notice his nervousness. That was the other reason he chose not to sleep in a human form. And in the other hand he remembered how she smiled when he was in her arm. It's better for both of them.

This night was very special for Arckhebohn and meant a lot to him. Until he lives he will not forget it because this was the night when his life changed and the very first time when he had a goal: To help Eida.

[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Eida on February 9th, 2013, 11:47 am

Eida saw how Arck again became a bird like before. She took between her arms to her lap and pat him. He was still warm. This night was beautiful, just like the Moon. Eida did protect her friend's dreams at night.

-----

Morning. Leth came down and Syna, the Sun came up. The sunrise was beautiful to see near the sea. The nature got up, and some animal went to sleep. A new day awaits. But Eida felt different now.

Her looks changed. Her horns disappeared. But not only that, her skin became ashy, on her hands long, black claws grew. Her hair color changed to cobweb's white. And her eyes into amethyst colour. And that wasn't good for her. The sun, the light hurt her eyes. She couldn't see very well. She closed one of her eyes and looked away from the Sun. Eida confused. She didn't want to scare Arck. She felt strange now.

~What was happened? My eyes, the beautiful sun hurts it... She was thinking . She covered her head with cloak so the sun couldn't get there. She tried to remain calm.

[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Arckhebohn on February 9th, 2013, 12:20 pm

Arckhebohn was about to wake up from a very deep sleep. It felt good for him to sleep on Eida. It was warm and comfortable and felt happy. Her warm body and her kindness.. he never felt like it. He couldn't compare it to anything. It was just like a dream. A never ending night with a beautiful creature. It’s like they've known each other for so long. He didn't want to wake up from this dream. This very sweet dream he always wished for.

But morning came no matter he liked it or not. Another new day and another new adventure for him. When he opened his eyes he saw something what he didn't think he would. He was on someone else's lap. That creature had claws. And her skin, her hair was completely different from Eida's. ~ What could have happened..? Was the last night really a dream and this creature enchanted me to believe that she is beautiful..? ~ In that very moment when he noticed her he started to flap with his wings to get away from there. He only focused to be in a safe distant to see what this creature really is. When he was a bit further away he could examine this creature more. He didn't believe in his eyes. But he did believe in his instincts. If she would want to harm him she would have done it already. ~ What is her goal? And most importantly… Where is Eida? ~

He didn't want to change his shape because he felt it's safer to remain as he is now. He watched her to see what she will do now. Arckhebohn was ready to get away if he needs to but he didn't want to before knowing what happened to the person from yesterday.

Eida didn't want to scare the bird. She was scared too. And her eyes still hurt. She reached her armed to the bird. She tried to do something with the black, long claws but she couldn't.

-Don't be afraid. I won't harm you. It's me Eida. Just the sun came up! My eyes aren't very well I can't see you well. But I'm still Eida. Come I won't attack you!

She tried to tell Arcky the truth. She was embrass because the form she is in. New questions... Always questions. She didn't know what form is that. What is she now? Most importantly she had to get the Kelvic's trust once again. She looked scary but she was still the person before. So that was the fate she got. She changes her form at night and at daylight. She stood up and went two step closer to the bird. She still smiled at him. An embrassed, kind and a bit confused smile. She was afraid that she would lost her friend forever.

- I know this is scary, I'm scared too but... this is my fate. I change my forms at Syna's light and at Leth's light. I don't know either what is this form. But I'm sure we can find out.

This time he was maybe as confused as Eida. ~ If she is really her... I just don't know what I should do.. ~ It took some time for him to think it through what he should do. The first option was that he will trust her and try to find out more about this form. Or he could just fly away and never seeing her again. But if he does that what then? He will stay alone again and he will only wander around for the rest of his life. ~ If I'm going to die then I will die. At least I will have a good memory about that night. ~ It's been decided then. He saw that she is telling the truth about her eyes. She couldn't see him well so even if she attacks him he can get away.

He changed his form once again. Eida could see in his face that he doesn't trust her that much then before. But he was willing to give a chance to her. ~ There must be an explaination for it. ~
- Alright I believe you. I'm not sure about it though.. How do you mean fate?

With his sharp mind he was prepared for anything. He wanted to know what the truth is. Even if Eida scared him he still couldn't get her out of his mind. She is like him. She's alone and scared and don't know much about the world nor about herself. If he leaves her like this she might not live long. His expression changed a bit after thinking about the situation. It was almost like yesterday night.
- I've just met you but you surprised me the second time now. I will help you to find out who you really are. He took a big breath and then said a word what he have never said before to anyone. - I promise.

Eida is relieved when Arck said he believes her. She felt better now. But she still couldn't see well. She had to sit down again. Near the sea some seagull flew. They showed their voices. The sea was calm just like at night. They could get fishes from it. Eida felt hungry too and sleepy.

- By fate? This circle will go forever! -She said and felt the hunger. She didn't want to tell Arck that. She already felt uncomfortable with the situation. She held her stomach. No way she could survive she had to ask him.
-This is embrassing but I may I ask you. I'm hungry now. But I can't get anything my eyes... I can't see anything at Sun's light no matter how I would like to, no matter how I would like to see the beautiful sun's light. Some fruits or vegetables would do! I would be thankful. But I'm too tired... I'm nothing but trouble for you.

She felt helpless. She couldn't even move. Eida's smile vanished away. She didn't want Arck to see her like this. Even she didn't know that would happen. She had to try to guess a solution for it. She couldn't let that thing to happen again. She sat like a doll which needs somebody to play with it.

[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Arckhebohn on February 9th, 2013, 10:18 pm

~ She is just impossible.. ~ As time passed by he got more and more knowledge about the Ethaefals. It seemed that these creatures have different forms as the Kelvics. Not animal but human form. And that they have different necessities when it is dark and when it is daytime. Arckhebohn was somewhat happy about it that he could find out this much about her in this short time. But he knew that there were still more than that. When she said that she was hungry he realised that he was too. Even if he ate last night it wasn't much in his human form.
- Don't worry about troubling me. I would have gone to get some food anyway. If I remember well there were some peach trees nearby. I'll be back soon.

When he said nearby he knew that it's only close if he flies there. It would take much more time on foot and who knows what he would run into along the way. As a raven he couldn't take anything with himself but he had an idea. He went back to the place where he hid his cloak because there were his other things too. He emptied his bag as much as he could so that way it wasn't that heavy. He hoped that he could lift his back in his other form and then put the peaches in it. But even if he does that he wouldn’t be able to carry enough for two so he would have to take another round. There was no time lose because Eida didn't look well at all. Who knows when was the last time when she ate anything. After he finished emptying the bag he changed his shape and then took the backpack in his beak.

It was hard to fly with it. Though it wasn't that heavy it was uncomfortable and made his journey a bit harder than usual. But even so it felt good for him that he could fly again. It seemed like eternity because of the recent happenings. The sun was already up and thanks to the air he completely woke up. When he saw the peach tree he landed one the branches. Before doing anything hasty he looked around to see if there were any dangers around. It was an old habit or maybe more like an instinct for him. When he was sure that no one was around he flew to the ground and changed his shape. There were a lot of fruits even in the ground. He wanted to get some better one for Eida first but he also ate one or two to get some energy from it. When he collected enough he closed the bag and in raven form he tried to lift it slowly. It was too heavy at first so he had to take some out. In the next try he was finally able to lift it high enough to fly with it.

He had to stop some time to rest but finally he got back to Eida. He saw that she wasn't well at all. When he changed back his form to human he gave his bag to Eida with a great sigh. It was a while when he had to lift this much.
- I hope it's enough for breakfast. If you need more or anything else just tell me and. But first let me rest some too, it was quite hard to take this bag to me.

[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Eida on February 10th, 2013, 12:59 pm

Eida felt good because Arck and smiled again. She sat there and watched how he flew away to get food. She was thinking: they didn't meet only a night ago and they had a strong relationship already. However she had to find a place while she is waiting. She decided to go to a tree's shadow. She sat down there and leaned her back on the trunk. She looked up and saw the light of the Sun which "tried to go" through the foliage. She couldn't watch it for long so she turned her look back at the forest. So green, so beautiful, so peaceful. But what about her? She didn't mind her form at the moment. As soon as she find about it maybe she will like it or still would be okay with it. It was part of her existence. She started to investigate herself.

She stretched her legs out. She had nearly white skin but it was more ashy. Even in her toes there were black nails but they weren't so long. Her upper body she was a bit thinner but not much difference. Her hands with those black, long claws. She was staring them for long. ~Maybe I could attack little things with.~ She thought about that but she wouldn't have heart for it. Her hair was white like a cobweb. And she found out for the first place that her eyes were better at night maybe than at day. Then she saw Arck that he is coming back. She went back to him and took the food that she got from him.

-Thank you, it will be enough for sure! She smiled and wanted take a bite on the peach. She oppened her mouth and didn't do anything. She took down the fruit and touched her teeth. Fangs! Two fangs. There were venoms in them. She was thinking for a little time then she took the peach again and started to eat. No she won't such thing like her fangs or claws to attack. She could live without harm anything.

[FLASHBACK] Leth's night (Arckhebohn)

Postby Arckhebohn on February 10th, 2013, 1:45 pm

It was good to see that Eida was finally eating. Arckhebohn thought that it was worth getting some food after all. Though there was still one problem: he didn't eat much. That 1 or 2 peaches felt good but it's not much for someone who is like a human. ~ I should have changed back to raven.. ~ He regretted that he didn't eat more when he had the chance. But it didn't matter. From the flying he was exhausted enough so he couldn't fly for a while even if he would be in danger. And in the other hand he didn't want to leave Eida again. It's better for both of them if they stayed together.

While he was thinking he lied down. It wasn't comfortable but at least he could relax a bit before going anywhere. ~ And now what? ~ As their current state they didn't have a chance to travel anywhere which was far. But they couldn't just stay here either. He learned that it's not wise in this region to stay in one place for long. But he didn't know where they could go. If they will regain their energy they could move somewhere a bit more safer place. If there is any. From the moment he got away from his captivity he lived here. Who knows why he didn't leave or why he didn't go any further. Maybe he enjoyed being alone in the nature. Or he wanted to start a new life. Or maybe he was just too scared to look for his family and face his past after all this time.

- What should we do now? He asked it loudly from himself but he might have waited an answer from Eida. Or at least from someone or something which might give a clue to them about their next move. If they could find someone who knows how could they get out of this place that would be the best. But knowing that the last people who he met treated him like he was just a tool or something which they can exchange for money he didn't have much hope.
