The Wilderness of Cyphrus is an endless sea of tall grass that rolls just like the oceans themselves. Geysers kiss the sky with their steamy breath, and mysterious craters create microworlds all their own. But above all danger lives here in the tall grass in the form of fierce wild creatures; elegant serpents that swim through the land like whales through the ocean and fierce packs of glassbeaks that hunt in packs which are only kept at bay by fires. Traverse it carefully, with a guide if possible, for those that venture alone endanger themselves in countless ways.

If one rides hard east of Riverfall for about a bell, they'll come across the Kai’Neha Valley, a natural dip in the Sea of Grass, populated by a small forest. From a distance, the valley is all but unnoticeable, until near the valley's edge. It is home to a large colony of snarlwings for most of the year, as well as many other fauna in an eco system somewhat isolated from the surrounding Sea of Grass. Glassbeaks are uncommon in the valley, though not unheard of, as their bright coloring and speed is put to best use out on the open plains. Grass bears have been known to den here in the winter, carving out a home amongst the roots and fallen trees.
During the spring and summer, the valley is lush, with vegetation making it difficult for larger animals such as grass bears and wild horses to even pass through without digging out a path. In the winter, undergrowth is buried under snow, making the trees seem much taller. Non-hibernating animals will root through the snow to get to the roots and tubers below, while many rodents and small mammals can be found throughout in burrows.
