When Shanapar was given his title at a early age, he was given the title of Untamed because as a young boy he would often stay at the edge of camp watching the desert and playing by himself; however, when he had to play with his peers, he would get into arguments that would often lead to fist fights with the other boys. He was a quiet boy with few things to say, but he would always voice his opinion when it was appropriate. Being the eldest son, he would try to learn everything his father knew about hunting and fighting. At age five, he was taught by his father the art of knife fighting and the basics of unarmed combat, and at age twelve, he was given his bow by his father on his birthday. The next day his father Shana taught him the fundamentals of archery and hunting, and he started his journey into the desert.
Life in the desert was a humbling for the young Chaktawe, he learned patients and discipline in the burning sands. As a adolescent, he would often spend days alone in the desert learning the terrain and tricks to surviving in the desolate environment. He would never venture to close to Ahnatep because the city was unfamiliar terrain, but he would always watch the city at night from a far. Always curious about the life of the multi-armed inhabitants of Ahnatep. When he was fourteen, he featured into the city feeling it was best to learn about his neighbors, and he was awed at the lavish lifestyle of the city dwellers. When he left the city, he felt like he entered a dream. He enjoyed the dream while he was there, but over time, he realized the people of the city were all wearing a mask to hide their true identity from each other.
When Shanapar turned fifteen years old, he was devastated by the loss of his father, and he spent a week in the desert trying to understand mortality and his place in the world. Shanapar went back to the city, and he joined up with street gang called the Back Alley Vipers. He lived duel lives on in the city as a thug, and in the desert, where he took up his father's place of head of the family, and he provided for his mother and sisters in his fathers place. At age sixteen, Shanapar met a quiet girl in the poor part of the city named Kya. Kya wasn't apart of any street gang. She was the youngest daughter of the doctor who treated the young delinquent's injuries after the many fights the young Chaktawe would get into in the streets or the alleys. Shanapar always smiled at her when she scolded him for his injuries, and over the next few months, he started to fall in love with the woman. When he was seventeen, he asked her to marry him, and she accepted his proposal. When Shanapar was on a night patrol with the Vipers, he caught sight of Symenestra crawling out of her window. Shanapar chased the spider through the streets of Ahnatep, but eventually, he lost sight of the man. When he returned to Kya's house, he found out she was violated by the intruder. The next mouth, Shanapar found out Kya was pregnant with the Symenestra's child. Shanapar spent the nine month preparing for the birth of Kya's child, and also he spent the nine months finding out information about the rapist. Kia died when the Symenestra child was born, and Shanapar couldn't help place the blame on the hands of the man who violated his fiancee.
At the age of eighteen, he left the child with his sister and her family, so he could find the man who murdered his Kya. Shanapar sister's got married and left his mother's care, so when his mother passed away, he was able to live his life for himself, and for three years, he decided to venture across the Suvan Sea to explore the hidden wonders of the jungles of Falyndar. On his return trip, he got distracted in the Suvan Sea for a year. When he was finished traveling the inner sea, he spent one years refining his skills as a warrior in the Alakak capital of Riverfall. For the last year, he has been traveling south through the plains of Cyphrus to his homeland of Eyktol.
