A relaxing evening of art [Jesslyn]

He nodded listening to Jesslyn's words. He could never know how it was to be blind, and to feel vibrations and the extent to how they were used and what they could do. He however seemed to understand. Jesslyn would probably not become an archer if she could not feel or see where her target was.

He smiled as Jesslyn challenged him. A guessing game huh? He looked Jesslyn over again and thought to himself again that she was beautiful, with an amazing body. He shook these thoughts from his mind and looked at her hands. They were not wheathered or rough like the hands of a sculptor. They were smooth, so she had to be in a medium that was not so hard with her hands. He smiled.
"I would say you are a painter. Am I right?"

Jesslyn could feel his eye's on her as they walked but didn't say anything of it. When the heat of his eye's moved to her hands Jesslyn hoped he would pick something like drawling or even something like clay making. But of course Morwen would choose to ignore her. "I would say you are a painter. Am I right?"

Jesslyn pouted. She didn't like being bested at games. "That's not cool. You know what. You just guessed, you didn't even try to think about it." Jesslyn stuck her nose up away from him and tried to stifle the giggles that threatened to come out.

As she lightly shook she could make out more of the man and could feel a slight heat come to her already red cheeks. She hoped that he wouldn't notice but knowing Jesslyn luck her would. Though he probably wouldn't understand what she was blushing about.

He laughed as he observed her fighting a smirk and laughter. She was obviously just giving him a hard time. He had obviously guessed correctly. A painter. It was interesting, a painter going to the sculpture yard. Maybe she was just looking for inspiration.

As they walked Soren did notice her reddening cheeks. She was blushing. he was surprised by this but she could have been blushing at anything. He decided to not think about it, it was inconsequential.
"Of course I thought about it"He said a smile clearly across his face.

When Jesslyn felt she had covered her blush with the frost air she was able to turn her head back to him. Jesslyn could feel and see his smile and it caused a large smile to break out on her face too.

Jesslyn smirked and poked his side with the arm tangled with his when he claimed had had thought about it. "I highly doubt so little Frostfawn! You simply guessed by the most common form of art!" Jesslyn giggled and re settled her silk cloak. The frost air hit her a little and she shivered.

Jesslyn stopped them when her vision hit a particular place. Though she couldn't see far she could see and remember what the entrance to the yard looked like, "Well my Frostfawn. I think we are here." Jesslyn turned and smiled. Starting to pull her arm away from his.

Soren saw Jesslyn's smile. It was nice to see the lovely Skyglow smile. He softly chuckled at her comment about his guess and gave a mock frown, "come no, you give me too little credit."

Soren softly bit his lip as they entered the yard and Jesslyn started to take her arm away from his."Well, we are just starting to get to know each other, why not walk around and view the yard together?"He asked nonchalantly. He wanted to spend more time with the charming and interesting Skyglow, he seemed almost drawn to her playful personality and something he couldn't quite describe but was so unique about her.

Jesslyn stopped removing her arm when he mentioned they should walk around together. While she didn't want to hesitate but she still did. Jesslyn sighed over-dramatically and stepped back into his arm.

"Fine little Frostfawn. I'll not part your side if it makes you happy." Jesslyn gave a smile to show she was teasing and spread out the hand holding the staff, "Lead on?"

Secretly Jesslyn was glad he had asked her to stay with him. She felt a small pull towards him and didn't know if she should go for it or not. But it seemed she would.

A relaxing evening of art [Jesslyn]

Soren smiled as he looked at Jesslyn. There was that playfullness again. One thing he noticed was even if she changed moods, her eyes didn't shift that much. This could very well be because she was blind. Unlike other Vantha, she couldn't be as easily read by her eyes. Soren thought it brought a little mystery to the woman. He liked it.

Walking along with her they strolled around the sculpture yard. A lot of it had been destroyed. Another example of how djed can destroy and not create. Soren was only interested in magic that could be used for a helpful purpose and not destructive. Things like auristics appealed to him and if he could use a magic for a creative purpose it would be worthwhile. The Djed storm of Spring 512 had destroyed the sculpture yard. The remaining statues and works of art here and there was all that was left. He sighed at the waste of talent and creativity. It made him sad to see it all destroyed, but he was also happy that so much artwork still remained. He saw small works made of ice and snow, one was of two hands holding a small snowflake. It was a beautiful work of art and somehow it gave him a small glimmer of hope for the destroyed yard.

He turned to the Skyglow as she commented"It would please me to no end for you to accompany me."He said sincerely. The Skyglow was definitely growing on him.

Jesslyn wanted to groan and shout,'Stop being so gentle! Have a backbone! Tell me to..to! I don't know!' But she didn't. What Jesslyn did do is not pay attention to anything in the yard because they never got close-enough for anything.

So she focused on Soren. Trying her best to see him. She had once before been able to see, actually twice. Once with the Frostfawn deer and then the second time with the wolf kelvic. She was barley able to make out the shape of his nose and could get his ears but then her vision suddenly stopped.

Jesslyn didn't realize she was tripping until she landed on her butt and arms. Hair fanned out around her head, knees in the air, and her face in shock. Her once purple eye's slowly fading into a light pink. Her neck and face growing hot.

She could now see one of the sculptures. It was the vague outline of a dog of sorts, her guess was a wolf, and a small bundle at it's feet. She couldn't see what the bundle was but her hand itched to Sylvia's necklace and she thought of how sometimes wolfs had helped out. 'Maybe the bundles a baby?'

OOCYou can start what we were planning or we could wait more. It's up to you.

He almost subconsciously noticed that Jesslyn was paying more attention to him than the art. He wondered why until it dawned on him, she was blind...and she probably couldn't see the statues. He bit his lip, a nervous habit of his whenever he thought about something. Maybe she would have to feel the art to actually get an appreciation for it. Since she was already an artist she might do that anyway.

Right about the time he was going to ask her if she wanted to get closer to the art to feel it he saw her tripping. He reached out for her but was far too late to stop her descent. He gently offered a hand to her,
"It looks like you need a hand there."He said, an obvious amount of cheekiness in it as the seen was a little amusing to him. Jesslyn looked almost adorable with her hair fanned out and her face and neck a brilliant shade of rose.

He raised Jesslyn up onto her feet and wrapped the other arm around her waist. They were both facing each other in what may have looked like a warm embrace of each other when Soren was merely trying to steady Jesslyn.

Around this time an older couple was strolling by the yard gazing at the gorgeous sculptures walking hand in hand. The older woman with a kind and warm face looked at Soren and Jesslyn and obviously came to her own conclusions. She was small in stature standing at about four foot five inches, a few inches smaller than her husband and with many wrinkles that showed her knowledge and age. She lightly tugged at her husband's arm and pointed to Soren and Jesslyn.
"Look at them dear, young love is such a sight to see isn't it?"She said this with a twinkle in her eye and turned to look at her husband with warm love and affection as if reminiscing on some distant memories

Jesslyn blushed even more at his comment but gave a cheeky smile back and laughed. A hand took hers and pulled her up. It was unexpected so Jesslyn stumbled into his chest. His arm wrapped around her waist and Jesslyn could feel his breath on her face they were so close."Thanks" she whispered with a small giggle.

Jesslyn almost didn't hear the couple of feet coming closer because her heartbeat was so loud in her ears. When the sound of an aged woman came firm the source of footsteps Jesslyn blushed and tried to pull away but his grip stood firm, "No no no, you see I..." Jesslyn was interrupted.
