A relaxing evening of art [Jesslyn]

He smiled as Jesslyn tried to deny the comment. Soren, acting without really thinking, pulled Jesslyn close and wrapped both his hands on either side of her hips and turned back to the couple, "Thank you Ma'am" He said simply and leaned in to give Jesslyn a kiss on her right cheek, his warm lips brushing against her reddening cheek.

The woman sighed in admiration and held her husbands hand tighter as they walked off witnessing young love in blossom, or so they thought. Soren smiled as he pulled away from the obviously shocked Jesslyn, seeing her cheeks a brilliant shade of red almost the color of a ripened cherry now, her eyes wide and her mouth slightly open. Soren tried to suppress a small chuckle as he waited for her response to his playful act.

Warm hand moved to her hips after she was pulled closer to Sera. He had interrupted her when he thanked the woman. The bloody Frostfawn had just commended them a couple. Jesslyn's brows furrowed but soon then went slack as did her mouth when she left soft warmth press to her cheek.

Jesslyns' throat closed up in shock and she felt a new heat rushing to her cheeks. Jesslyn slowly snapped around of her daze when she realized she was being shook lightly by his stiffed laughs. Jesslyn snapped her mouth closed and snaked her arms around his neck, "Way to make a girl feel special. And leading the poor couple on!" she hissed.

No anger showed in her eye's and her voice held barley any bitterness as she continued on, "Why not go for the whole show?! Maybe we could sell tickets for the act." Jesslyn dug her finger nails into the back of his neck, kneading the hair in the process. Jesslyn being Jesslyn didn't think that kind of thing could have different effects. Not. At. All.

She had mean't it sarcastically, really she did. But Jesslyn was flustered and it was kind-of easy to see. Her face was crimson under the light tan, her eye's still a little pink, her voice shook just a touch, and she was breathing a little uneven. What way would anyone else take it?

Soren's eyes went to jesslyn's as she almost reprimanded the cheeky Frostfawn. He bit his lip slightly and pulled Jesslyn in a little more, their bodies radiating heat to one another.

He thought quickly and responded,
"Perhaps it was just a clever ploy to steal a kiss."He said half joking but leaving the proposition in the air "Or maybe I just enjoy a bit of playfullness"He shrugged to emphasize wither could be the case leaving a little of a mystery to his motivations behind the act.

After that little display they stayed embraced in each other's arms until Soren spoke up
"I do have to apologize, I don't know how you observe the artwork but I think I wasn't allowing you to get close enough to the art to see. I am going to go see the statue of Morwen, i am sure if you come you will get close enough to feel the statue if that is how you observe the artwork.Soren commented as he slowly pulled away letting the Skyglow decide if she wanted to go to the statue or stay in his arms a little longer.

Jesslyn refused to acknowledge the heat that grew on her when he pulled her closer. Jesslyn did let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding when he continued to flirt. Jesslyn sighed and leaned her head on his shoulder.

She was too inexperienced for this crap. But she was having fun. And dare say he was slightly growing on her. Jesslyn brought her arms from around his neck and let them relax on his chest. Jesslyn tapped out a beat for a little while but had to stop when he started to pull away.

Jesslyn gave a small smile and allowed her arm to find his. Latching on she pulled him slightly, "Well then, little frostfawn who's too much for himself, lead with way." Jesslyn had no idea what she was doing.

A relaxing evening of art [Jesslyn]

Soren was enjoying the company of the Skyglow. He walked on as he glanced periodically at Jesslyn. It seemed she was still being playful but he wondered if he had gone a little too far with his earlier action. He meant it to be harmless and light but maybe it had gone in a different direction than that.

Soren led on until he spotted a sectioned off area of the sculpture yard. Gated off and filled with lots of statues was the area where Morwen's statue stood. He gazed at what he knew were the past leader's of the Icewatch. He looked at them standing as if in guard at Morwen's side. Perhaps that is why they stood there. Finally down a curving walkway was the brilliant life sized statue of Morwen. It paled in comparison to the real thing but was still a sight to behold.
"It is an amazing sight indeed"He said to no one in particular

They never got close enough to let Jesslyn really see any of the sculptures but she didn't let that change her attitude. When Jesslyn could get a glimpse at one she would point to it and smile.

Jesslyn didn't really know where they were going besides the statue of Morwen. And when they stopped Jesslyn had to frown. All she could see was a gate. Jesslyn's frown increased when Sera talked but it wasn't to Jesslyn. 'Did he forget me so easily?'

Jesslyn tried to push those thoughts away but nothing helped, 'Am I just a pretty petty blind trophy?' Jesslyn slowly slipped her arm from his as he gazed at the statues. Silently she turned and began to walk away. But Jesslyn couldn't help it when her silk cloak moved against him. Nor could she stop the chill that ran though her without his heat against her side.

Soren felt rather than saw Jesslyn leave and snapped out of his awe for the statues of the great Icewatch leaders and the queen of winter. He saw Jesslyn turn and walk away and wondered what he had done to upset her. He bit his lip thinking to himself he should say or do something. He acted without much thought to the situation and decided that he would just let the words come.

Soren moved quickly and touched Jesslyn's right shoulder gently,
"I'm sorry if I did something to offend you. Please don't go, if you don't like the Icewatch leaders I am sure there are other sculptures here that you will enjoy."He said this awkwardly stumbling over his words in a desperate attempt to save face and stop Jesslyn from leaving. he felt his attempts were falling short however.

A hand touched her right shoulder gently causing her to stop. Jesslyn blushed at her foolishness and sighed. 'Stop being a child. He was simply enjoying the view. He wasn't ignoring you, stop being so selfish.'

Jesslyn turned to Soren and hung her head, "No. It's just... I'm jumping to conclusions and I... I would love to see the Icewatch leader statues and such but... I... I can't." Jesslyn hugged herself and blushed, "I can 'see' but it's more long the lines of vibrations. And the place is gated so I can't get close enough..."

Jesslyn wanted to curl up and cry for her foolish childless and stupid blindness but her eye's would never allow that. ' All that I've done and I receive the gift of blindness. Who wants a blind Vantha Skyglow? No one, they didn't want me as a Whitevine either so what use do I have.' Jesslyn cursed bitterly in her mind. But what she didn't know is that she had said that aloud.

He stood behind Jesllyn puzzled. Seeing with vibrations? He didn't know anything about that at all. He only kinda knew about blind people and that they touched things to feel them to know what they looked like. It seemed Jesslyn had some other form of sight he wasn't aware of. I'm sorry I didn't know...I mean vibrations?...I uhm..."

Soren was definitely at a complete loss for words. He looked back to the gate. He didn't have much experience with blind people, in fact Jesslyn was his first real encounter. He realized while staring at the statues he just assumed she was gazing at them too, forgetting she was blind. He quickly looked back to her as she cried out. She was a Whitevine? More importantly she was hurting at that moment.

Soren bit his lip and turned Jesslyn on her heels to face him, Soren quickly wrapping his arms around the hurting Skyglow for comfort. He gently caressed up and down Jesslyn's back right along her spine. This time he chose his words with care.
"I think anyone would be glad to kill to have someone like you in their lives. And anyone who isn't willing to do that is a fool of the highest caliber."

Jesslyn guessed she wasn't fully turned to Soren when she was turned again. Arms quickly wrapped around her and moved up and down along her spine. Sending a small shiver through her. She knew her back was sensitive to touch, she couldn't even handle it when a friend braided her hair it was that bad.

Kind words were spoken to her and Jesslyn felt so selfish and then embarrassed, "I said that last part out loud didn't I?" Guessing that she did Jesslyn gripped his shirt and hit her face in his shoulder, "Morwen, that is definitely embarrassing." Jesslyn mumbled into his shoulder.

Jesslyn couldn't believe herself. Standing in the arms of a stranger while they comforted her after her 'brake-down'. Jesslyn turned her head to face his neck and breathed out a sigh. " You think they would notice if we hoped the fence?"
