He nodded slowly as to not disturb the placement of her head."Yes, you did. But its ok."He ran his fingers through her long hair. It felt as if silk were running through his fingers. He gently caressed her head as she hid her face. He wasn't exactly versed in calming a hysterical woman.
He didn't understand why Jesslyn was so distraught. He imagined it was hard being blind but it seemed her feelings went beyond that. He wanted nothing more than to calm her with a mere touch but when in history had that ever been the case that things worked out that simply. He felt the quivers of her body as he caressed her. He would just have to hold her and be here for her...that is what he thought until she commented about the fence.
After her comment he grinned. He was sure that someone would definitly notice two people hoping a fence to check out the statues. He took her hand in his, "Yes they are sure to notice...but it would be fun."Soren headed over to the fence with Jesslyn in tow and hoped the fence in an instance. He turned around ready to help Jesslyn over and held out both of his hands"Need any help there beautiful?" |

OOCSorry, I thought yours was nice hope you don't mind if I steal it?
He held on to Jesslyn as she hopped the fence. He steadied her as Jesslyn got to the other side. The statues stood further out. Soren lead Jesslyn to one of the statues closer to them. It was of a dire polar bear, strong and fierce. On its hind legs it was rearing for an attack and on its back was one of the Icewatch leaders.
One of Soren's hands touched Jesslyn's, and he guided Jesslyn's hand to touch the head of the great beast. He smiled as her fingers felt around the giant animals frame and head."It's magnificent isn't it. It must be amazing to be a member of Icewatch. Adventure, danger, and to be around some of the greatest Kelvics in Avanthal."He said this almost in awe as he gazed at the beast and it's rider immortalized in stone.
He couldn't tell if Jesslyn enjoyed he sculpture. Soren thought she was enjoying his company, at least it was his hope that she enjoyed his company as much as he enjoyed hers. |

Soren couldn't hear anything, not like Jesslyn. He heard some giggles and some murmurs, which he assumed were comments about hoodlums hopping the fence. He held Jesslyn as she finished examining the statue. He backed up his hands in hers looking into her eyes even though he was sure she couldn't see his and led her to another statue.
This one was of a female, she had her right hand raised to the sky and on her forearm was a large bird made of ice. The figure of the woman was made of polished stone. Soren would say that this woman was of significant beauty and stature, and he assumed she was a leader of the Icewatch as well.
Soren took the smooth and gentle hands of Jesslyn and placed them over the birds wings, as he gently placed his hands over Jesslyn's and kept them there because...well why not? Soren smiled as he felt Jesslyn feel the statue, it was a wonderful insight into how she really examined the world."Any insights on the artwork from an artist?" |

Jesslyn seemed to be enjoying the art as she sighed with something of admiration or in awe of the wonderful sculpture work, or so Soren thought. Soren nodded and closed his eyes. He felt Jesslyn's hands over his. The smooth texture of her hands covering the leather texture of his hands.
Suddenly a world opened for Soren as Jesslyn guided his hands over the sculpture. He felt the details and the picture seemed to piece together of the sculpture especially of the bird. It as utterly amazing how much he could make out of the sculpture with the guidance of Jesslyn.
"Wow...it seems so different than just looking at it"Soren said, the only thing he could think of to say. It was truly different and it was inspiring in some ways. He was glad Jesslyn shared this with him. |

Just as Jesslyn was getting ready to ask to head to the next one she heard angry stomping. Freezing up Jesslyn whispered to Soren, "We need to hide. Find the biggest statue and get up behind it." Jesslyn pulled their hand from the statue and turned in his arms, "Soren really. We're going to get caught if you don't hurry." Jesslyn frowned at him and lightly pushed at his chest with their hands.
Jesslyn didn't feel like getting caught for looking at the art work. And she didn't feel like leaving just yet. Jesslyn was having fun and getting to see some of the pieces of work she had never seen. And they were probably the meaning of perfection.

Soren immediatley took the hands of the lovely Skyglow and looked around the sculpture yard. There was only one sculpture that was remotely large enough to shield the two of them...a life sized dire polar bear. He pulled Jesslyn over to the polar bear and made sure she crouched down beside him.
With the recent murders and crime in Avanthal it wasn't wise to be caught doing anything in fear of the drastic consequences now that the Icewatch was watching any little move or unusual action as suspicious. Soren didn't feel like being labeled a criminal while he was getting to know a beautiful Skyglow icemaiden. Soren out of something within him that told him to do it wrapped his arms around Jesslyn and relaxed against the sculpture waiting for whoever it was to pass as he cuddled up to Jesslyn.
Soren pointed to the sky and smiled "That one looks like a little mammoth"He said referring to a soft white cloud that looked like a floating oval with a few tendrils of cloud coming off it that looked like feet and in front two little stubs of cloud that looked like tusks and one long stub that was the trunk. |
