A relaxing evening of art [Jesslyn]

As Jesslyn commented and turned Soren's head he instantly realized his mistake and he wanted to slap himself in the forehead for such a boneheaded idea. Hey why don't we play a game that the other person can't participate in that sounds like a great idea Soren. Idiot!!

He looked into the dull purple eyes of the lovely Jesslyn and leaned in gently kissing her nose and smiled,
"you're cute when you're angry"He said playfully, again he meant for the small action to be light and playful.

He placed his hands over Jesslyn's and looked into her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I forgot you couldn't see. I guess I have to get used to having a friend who is blind."He moved his hands from atop hers and moved them to her back, wrapping his arms around her and caressing up and down her spine once again.

OOCme and a friend are jelous of Jesslyn kus she's getting more action than both of us.... this is crap

No words were said for a little while and Jesslyn 'watched' as Soren got closer than then kissed her nose, smiled, and then called her cute. Jesslyn breathed angrily out of her nose over his face but softened a bit when he cupped her hands and gave her an apology.

Jesslyn was silent as he moved his hand back to her back and caressed her spine. Jesslyn shivered and went pliant in his arms. Laying her head on his shoulder she breathed against his neck, " I think we're a little passed friends here. And how do you do that so easily?" Jesslyn sighed in content.

She really felt like a cat and was surprised she hadn't started purring already.

OOClol

Soren shivered as Jesslyn found his weakness now, his neck. The individual hairs stood up as her warm breathe poured over the side of his neck and he had to refrain from blushing, though the heat rising from his cheeks told him he had failed in this endeavor. Soren thought about her question as Jesslyn laid her head on his shoulder, her every word pouring more warm breathes over his neck making him have to concentrate to stay in the conversation.

"I really just don't have many inhabitions or a filter of any sort. I think something and I do it. Plus I'm an insatiable flirt and you are entirely gorgeous."Soren said this matter of factly. Soren alwasy said what was on his mind without regard to how it would sound or how his actions would reflect himself or if they would be received well. He just did things without any or much thought at all. Not that everything worked out as well as this, he had been slapped, involved in fights, and had lost friends because of his say what's on your mind and do what you feel mentality. More than once he got himself into a situation that was way over his head as well.

Soren looked down at Jesslyn seeing only her hair it appeared a brownish color, but very dark brown...almost black. It seemed to Soren an unusual color but he liked it.
"Passed friends huh? Well then you wouldn't say no to a date then, maybe lunch at my place? I'll do the cooking

Jesslyn lazily smirked when Soren shivered. Amplifying her sight as she caught a long glimpse of his structure and build. He was... beautiful, to put it bluntly. The two just stayed there until Soren spoke up. At first she simply smiled and then when he mentioned himself a flirt Jesslyn gave a small laugh but soon found herself blushing.

Jesslyn tried to speak and failed, she hoped her face was hidden as she was sure she looked like a fish. But Soren saved her from her embarrassment ans poke up. Jesslyn could feel his eyes on her as he spoke and he added to her heated skin. Jesslyn smiled at his invitation. She would actually love to go. " You know. I would love to. And I think you cooking is the better idea anyway."

Jesslyn shivered but this time is was from the cold, "Oh my, what time is it for the temperature to drop? Have we really been here that long?" Jesslyn couldn't see but it seemed that the activity had gone down and the noises around them weren't as loud as before. "Soren.... I think that date will have to wait till another time if it's as late as it sounds."

Jesslyn slowly stood, already missing his warmth. And shook off some of the falling snow. Slowly bending back down Jesslyn used her 'sight' to find his cheek and laid a soft kiss. "Mind leading a blind lady home? I've seemed to have lost my way home and my staff."

A relaxing evening of art [Jesslyn]

[quote="Soren Frostfawn"]

Soren raised himself up and blushed slightly as she turned her lips to his cheek. He noticed her flushed cheeks, assuming it was from the cold and the steadily dropping temperature. The freezing cold temperature was slowly starting to get to him as Jesslyn mentioned it. He took the beuatiful vanthas arm in his and thought about her statement of his cooking.

Soren was a hunter, a novice one at that. All he knew how to do was cook a big piece of meat. He suddenly felt uneasy about this little date they were planning. He felt that sometime in the future Jesslyn and him would sit down for a cooked meal, cooked by him, of deer or rabbit. It would be terribly unimpressive.

"I would love to cook for you, and guide a blind goddess to her temple"He said, being poetic right now. They walked off, arm in arm into the freezing cold of the silent city, no movement on the streets and no people about at this time of night.

  • Jesslyn 'Sees' with Vibrations
  • Deducing an Artist's Profession through Their Hands
  • Djed Can Destroy As Much As Create
  • Breaking into Restricted Areas to Admire Sculptures
  • Looking at Artworks from Another Perspective

Notes:
Soren you ladies' man! Just a few days ago you were with Miria and now you are doing the moves on a new woman! Really, you. Though honestly, from what I've read from your first thread, I didn't think Soren was the kind of man who liked flirting. But meh, gentlemen can be flirts once in a while too with women they liked, I guess.

While reading some parts of your posts, I noticed you did not see some actions or details that your partner has done, leading you to make Jesslyn repeat that action and compelling her to improvise on her part. And Jesslyn had yet to share to Soren that she was an icemaiden, nor a Skyglow, so it would be questionable for him to suddenly know that. Please be careful with these, especially when roleplaying around your characters' actions.

I also just want to remind you that being a normal layperson (in this case, not a mage), you will not know the finer details of magic, People just call any kind of magic, whether it be auristics or reimancy, and etc, just 'magic'. Soren would not be able to differentiate each categories of magics from one another, much less know the names of a certain discipline, unless of course you have the lores for it.

Jesslyn Skyglow :

  • Rhetoric +1
  • Seduction +1
  • Socialization +4

Lores:
  • Embarrasment from Letting Your Mouth Slip

  • Enjoying Soren's Touches

Other:
You have lost your Quarterstaff.

Notes:
Finally, a romantic interest for the blind alpha! Jesslyn was getting all the action, all right. It did feel feel rushed at times though. The thread very much felt like something of a whirlwind romance rather than love at first sight. No puns intended.

Sometimes though, it really bothered me seeing you call Soren as Sera. It drew out quite a few laughs here, though you would have to watch out for this in your future threads to keep the flow and continuity of the story.

Also, there were times that I did double takes and re-read some of your posts because I assumed Jesslyn had said some sentences out loud, only to realize that they were her internal musings. If you could maybe italicize the words that pertains to her thoughts, or maybe emphasize the difference between the spoken words and not, it would make reading your posts easier and would be greatly appreciated on the readers' part. I would also love it if you state exactly how many starting skill points and racial bonus points you alloted for each skill in your character sheet. It would make things easier for us Storytellers to skim through for future references. Thank you! :D
