When Iosha felt her wooden sword strike the pale body of her friend, the konti cringed slight because she didn't want to hurt her. However, Sira was a trained warrior, so she took it with ease and congratulated her for a well placed hit, but she broke character for a moment and the konti giggled slightly at the kelvic. The smack talk made her laugh out evilly, “I heard wind eagle taste like chicken. Maybe I should have a taste!” When Iosha licked her sword, she felt a sharp pain and pulled out a sliver from her tongue. She looked at Sira and said with smirk, “Maybe I should stick to side of good. I think the universe my implode if I turn evil.” Sira came are her quick consecutive swings with her talon sword. Each swing was coming from either the left or right side and each blow was blocked feebly by the konti. The strength of the warrior dwarfed her own, and she could feel herself being pushed back to the wall.
Iosha felt her back hit the wall, and Sira came at her with a strike that was meant to kill. When the talon sword came down in a deadly arch, so Iosha choose to step forward with her sword raised with one hand to intercept the incoming blade. However, luck didn't favor her this moment because the force of Sira sword knocked the wooden long sword from her hand and the sword struck her in the shoulder. Iosha dropped to one knee holding the top of her throbbing shoulder. She closed her eyes and bite her teeth together to combat the pain. Iosha knew that she wasn't quick or strong enough to parry her blow, and if she was using a real talon sword. She wouldn't have a arm at the moment. Iosha brushed her sweaty hair from her face behind her ears and looked at her victorious friend and said with a smirk, “I need to remember to dodge your death blows, Sira. Ouchies...this one is going to bruise tomorrow.” Iosha looked up at her friend and gave her a weak smile, “Give me a moment Sweety.”

Sira chuckled at the konti's words, knowing the woman was fully capable of healing up any bruises she might have. Sira was very familiar with the powers of a Healer, and even if Addy was stingy with it at times, Sira knew from experience that bruises were no problem for a healer. Of course she couldn't let the comment slip by without getting in another jab. She was playing the villain after all.
"You're welcome to stop by the aerie later if you're too weak to handle a few bruises. I can have Addy fix you up."Sira was about to launch into another drill, teaching Iosha to never let her guard down, but the Konti asked for a moment. Had she not added in the "sweety" bit Sira might have ignored it just to teach her a lesson, but she was a sucker for things like that, and instead nodded and took a few steps back, lowering her sword.
"Let me know when you're ready, unless you want to call it quits for the day."OOCSorry, not the best post. I'm trying to force myself to begin writing again, so I might be a bit rusty for a while. Oh.. and sorry for taking so long to respond.

Iosha slowly got back to her feet and started move her arm and shoulder to dull the pain. The konti knew if she was going to be a swords-woman. She would need to learn how to fight through the pain. When Sira offered Addy's assistance in healing her wounds, Iosha shook her head and said with laugh, “Oh, I think I will tough it out.” Wiping the sweat from her forehead, Iosha said with warm a smile, “Besides, she would just tell me to deal with it myself.” Suddenly, Iosha realized that Sira cleverly hid a insult in her statement, the Konti shook the wooden sword at her playfully, and said with a evil laugh, “Oh...Oh your going to pay for that comment, bird girl!” Rubbing her shoulder, Iosha walked back into the sparring ring ready for another round. The healer gave her a friend a smile as did a few practice swings to loosen up her shoulder.
Sira offered to end the spar, but Iosha needed to save face in front of her “enemy”. Iosha held the long sword over her shoulder and got into a ready stance. Iosha waited till the kelvic was ready before she pounce. The konti quickly moved forward and swung down and across her chest. When she finished the full motion of her first strike, Iosha brought her sword around and slashed across the top of her legs. Iosha noticed that she didn't have as much power swinging with one hand, but she did notice swinging the sword with one hand added speed and flexibility to her attacks. As Iosha swung the long sword, she noticed that the swing was kind of wobbly unlike her first swing. The konti knew that she needed to work on her arm strength if she wanted to wield her sword one handed since she could feel the muscles in her shoulders and arms start to burn on the second swing.
