Welcome and all that jazz. Hullo, I'm Rain and this super swanky background is from davehugs. I'm a university student studying Medical Technology in some school from the Philippines. It's a pleasure to meet you! My scrapbook will mostly be links/resources that I really shouldn't forget and maybe occasional rants. Things that are relevant to my interests include taco recipes, helpful links, things that are ambiguously related to either Yahal, Benshira or Morwen, Good Omens, animated movies, Martin Freeman, , Silarial Hassan and personifications of land masses. I do not like kink shaming, role play shaming, slow internet connection, 7 am classes, close mindedness and bad tasting coffee. Rules: Spam ain't cool yo. Useful links/notes because I keep forgetting to bookmark things Colour Schemes: Colour lovers -- so many pretty palettes/patterns. Yahal bless. Color Scheme Designer -- you can put in a color of choice and it makes up a scheme, either contrasting or complementing. It's so helpful ; v ; NO LONGER WILL I USE NEON COLORS ON BLACK BACKGROUNDS. Color Palette Generator -- put in the URL to your image of choice and it generates a color scheme out of it! Horses: Apparently horses don't like being touched on their head? Muzzle and forehead are a no-no. Shoulders are better. EDIT: Horses love being kissed on their noses, stroked on their heads, and often headbang for attention. They use their heads to show affection and to rub each other and to groom with. A horse that is 'headshy' and doesn't want his head rubbed is a horse that's been abused. Many thanks for clearing that one out Miss Goss. Upon approaching your horse it's best not to touch it first, extend your hand and let it smell you. Horses get their temperature from the rectum. Do not pat your horses, the on and off pressure of patting translates to an attack type encounter. Basic grooming kit: - Hoof pick - Hard brush -Soft brush -Metal curry comb -Stable rubber -Water brush -Sponge -- helpful horse gear tutorial, but I should check other sources for the correct terms. Hassan may or may not be an Akhal-Teke, but gosh these babies are gorgeous. Well then Sometimes I log into chat and lurk while people talk, lurking has its perks, sort of. So I saw talk about Djed among other things and I started reading it up in the wiki. I have no idea how I got the thread with the Djed Storm of 512 but I did. And now I am conflicted. In Sef's CS I stated that he started travelling around Spring 21, 512. Stupid boy. You can't do that, quit travelling during a storm damn it. But yeah, I need to read up more on what went on in every city/region as to make appropriate flashbacks (or is it appropriate to not travel at all?) Ughhh I don't know. I really should make a thread in the plotnotes forum for these things, I'm so scatterbrained! Notes: Read it up. Decide on what to do. Frozen bubbles! * u * These temperatures are perfect for using that left over bubble mix from the summer. Go outside on any day when it’s below 32 degrees F and try this: blow a bubble and then catch it on the bubble wand. Wait a few moments while it freezes- it will turn into a cool crystal ball before it shatters! This is a rare meteorological phenomenon called a skypunch. When people see these, they think it’s the end of the world. Ice crystals form above the high-altitude cirro-cumulo-stratus clouds, then fall downward, punching a hole in the cloud cover. Skypunch sounds like a lower level Pokemon attack though, maybe Morwen uses this to intimidate people? Haha! I'll get a few more things up when my tumblr hiatus ends. The chat seems like a magical place, so many odd shenanigans going on. And these skypunch images are amazing huh? But I don't think my country's climate would be able to produce such a lovely phenomenon though. Too bad, curse this blasted tropical climate.
