Day 6 of Spring 513av Lexa felt like she had been walking forever. She had not long decided she wanted to go somewhere new, and how only just picked Zeltiva. She felt loaded down carrying her backpack, her weapons her tent and bedroll, and had decided to take a break for a while. It had to be getting fairly late in the afternoon by now. The sun was low in the sky. Lexa began looking around for a suitable place to make camp, and eventually found a big enough gap amongst trees to set up a tent and a fire. Lexa quickly assembled her tent and bedroll Once she was done with this she slumped down amongst the grass, and leant agains the trunk of a tree. She pulled her bag closer to her and reached inside it for a familiar object. It was her only blunt throwing star- the one that her mother had engraved her name, and Lexa's name into. She turned it around in her fingers and felt a lump rise inside her throat. Lexa shook her head and threw the star back into her pack, and stood up. She was too restless to stay still right now. Lexa left her bag by the tree and began to wrap her fists in fabric. She began to stretch. She was quite flexible. She stretched her arms and legs and the focused, ready to train. She took in the quiet of her surroundings and the broke the silence with a yell of exclamation as she began a sequence of attacks and blocks that she had learnt. "Haaaa!" Her bag lay seemingly forgotten a couple of meters away from her as she fought invisible foes. |
