Meeting In The Night [Eida]

[Lexa Maze]

Lexa didn't know how one could have such hope. But then again, it was obvious wasn't it? Eida had someone to fight for. Some one to protect. And a god on her side at night times. It would be a hard thing though, not knowing who you were. Lost without a clue about your past. It would be difficult readjusting to the world, gaining a new identity. But she had her purpose, and a good friend. Eida moved on to ask more out of the story and Lexa shook her head sadly "It happened sometime ago." She said "I guess every now and then I think about it because... she didn't just die, she was murdered, in place of me. It was my own brother, my eldest brother who did it." She stood again "My mother was probably the soul reason I didn't turn into a monster like him, like my father tried to raise me to be." She stood then, feeling slightly stronger "I could tell you many less than pleasant stories about my upbringing, but I doubt it would help me to talk about it." Lexa smiled "It is something that I won't forget, and sometimes it is hard to to anything be look back and regret." She continued: "But I guess I have to start looking forward as well." She walked towards the woman, still smiling warmly "Thank-you for your kindness" She whispered "I can see why Leth chose you. You are strong of heart."

[Eida]

Eida was just listening her and trying to understand her. She didn't know what was the meaning being part of a family, she had a father but that's all. But she had a wonderful friend too. She let a little sigh and didn't know what to do or what to say. They didn't walk into the forest for so long and she didn't even help or show her what she wanted to. She didn't want to fail, to light her hope. She was deep in her thoughts when Lexa stood up and came here. When she whispered to her she looked at her with big eyes. She did help! She maybe gave her hope. She stood up too and was a bit confused it was so sudden. Eida however smiled again. She knew she helped. "I thank you! I know you can change too and find a new way in your life. Everything changes, Lexa. Leth changed too and he is changing always. Try to think and you will know what to do. " At that night Eida finally forget again the loss and could help to others. As it was the middle of the night she knew Arckhebohn will be back soon and she had to go back. Eida looked up at the Moon. Leth's shine reflected on her and she was happy she had him. She looked back Lexa and she said good bye to her while she was slowly turning around. She had to let her to think and couldn't distrub her. She did what she had to. Fired the light of hope within her. "It's time for me now! My friend'll worry if I don't go back. Lexa it was nice to meet you. I believe I gave you some hope. Rest a bit and don't let yourself down. When you look up at the Moon, at Leth remember you can change everything. Leth's guide you, Lexa! And I pray for your fate!" She was walking away from her deeper and deeper in the forest with a little smile. She couldn't be seen now in the dark. Eida was deep in her mind as she always and was thinking if she will meet her again and what she will be like.

as she watched the Etherfall walk away into the night, a smile graced her face. It hd been nice to meet someone who genuinely seemed to care for her. She had come to her own conclusion, but if Eida hadn't come, she would still be sinking in the depths of her self pity, and her self loathing. Lexa walked back to her camp, set up her bedroll and crawled inot bed, falling into a deep sleep, dreaming of kind, smiling people, accepting her into their ranks. This was something she had to achieve on her own, and she would. Maybe one day she would meet Eida again. It was a small world, after all. She had the feeling, if Eida wanted to find her, she could. Leth would lead her way. How nice that would be.
