Sera's eyes widened as Yousef came to her rescue. He was asking many questions with a worried tone. A blush dusted her cheeks as she looked at him. Yousef gave her no chance to respond. Sera moved, carefully sitting in a different position. He was cute when he was worried. Her eyes changed, one a bright green, the other an ebony black as he touched her face. She was excited, she was anxious. Intense feeling... Passion. It was all directed at Yousef. Sera moved back slightly, surprised at herself. He had to have noticed. Yousef retreated back, away from her, nervous. Sera cursed as herself and looked away. She felt her body temperature rise as her heart began to beat violently in her chest. 'Oh Morwen... What is this?' The girl refused to look back at her new friend as she got to her feet. “I'm okay... I'm okay.” she said, still not facing him. She knew that her cheeks were red. She knew she was blushing. Her heart was pounding in her ears, not letting her focus as she tried to keep her balance on the ice. 'Act Normal. Act Normal.' She tried to calm herself down. 'What is this? Why am I acting like this?' She bit her lip, then finally looked at Yousef, her eyes dulling, but still staying their separate colors. 'He was just being nice. It didn't mean anything.' Sera tilted her head to the side, the way she always did, watching him. “I didn't mean to make you worry!” She finally said, then skated towards him again. “Maybe that was a little too much excitement for now... Would you like to go sit on the side? Maybe watch for a bit?” She suggested. Hoping he'd agree, she began to skate towards the side of the lake. The embarrassment hadn't left her system yet. She turned to look at Yousef again. Usually she was good at coming up with things to say, but for whatever reason, there was nothing easily coming to her mind. Sera sighed and looked down. 'I probably look like a little girl right now.' |
