Orion, 50th Day of Spring, 513 AV

It had been over half a season since Orion had made a life altering decision. Laying down his scalpel, picking up the blade and shield. No longer would he wait for injuries to come to him. Instead, the injuries would be prevented before they could happen to the common folk. At least he would try to make that happen. Dinah Lorene, his patron knight, had managed to remain patient with him, though he was likely not making the progress she had hoped for when she took him on as a squire, she'd remained patient to this point. It was a very different game to bring an adult into to the fray when compared to a malleable youth. The adult was set in their ways, and had to be fixed. The youth was like a fresh lump of clay, ready to be molded into a perfect Syliran Knight. Orion was certain to continue being a challenge for her, and after a particularly unfruitful training session the beautiful knight had gotten fed up with dealing with the doctor's inabilities, at least for the time being. Dinah sent Orion off for the day, told him to unwind and be ready for a day he'd never forget.

Getting so drunk he forgot who he was didn't seem like the best way to prepare for that. The Rearing Stallion was out. He didn't really want the attention, and all he would do then was drink. So perhaps there was another option..

With a blade strapped at his side, and a small bag of coins in hand, the unarmored Orion had decided on The Spinning Coin. There he could drink, toss dice, play cards, and maybe even catch a fight. As he walked in, Orion scanned the locale quickly, but it was quite obvious where all the excitement was this evening.

The cage was set up. There was a fight this evening, and it was sure to bring in a lot of income. People were betting on those involved, cheering, and even throwing a few cat calls, which the former doctor found odd.

Is it mud wrestling night?

Orion made his way over slowly, sliding between excited patrons to get a good look at the action going on. Imagine Orion's surprise when a familar blonde woman was one of the combatants. This realization caused an eyebrow to raise in reaction, as he involuntarily spoke her name.

"...Kyra?"

This I've got to see...

Kyra had finally made it back to Syliras after a quick escape from Ravok and a lengthy travel. In truth she wasn't sure why she had returned, but the answer was that she simply had nowhere else to go. Such travel took a very long time, and while she could have wandered further until she found another city, Kyra wasn't exactly out for adventure and since she knew where the city was, she just went there. How long she would stay was a question that she would answer later, but for now it was a place away from Ravok.

The young kelvic spend a good bit of time walking around the inner walls. Unlike the last time, she remembered a few places, such as where to go for food, books and other items. She had been a bit wired when she arrived and after getting a meal, the girl took to the streets to see more of it. She wondered around aimlessly for a bell until she found the Spinning Coin and entered.

Kyra had never been inside the place before and was very surprised to see what went on inside. The place stunk of farm animals and sweaty humans, even with the scents that were lit, the heaths, and even the vents to let in the ocean air. Kyra wrinkled her nose as she looked around and continued through. By now she had gotten used to so many people being piled so closely together in a small space. Shw was still dressed in the men's clothing that she had on when she fled Ravok. The clothing hung loose on her slender form and the pants were baggy. The cloak that hugged her shoulders and the hood further concealed her gender from those who might be looking for a good time.

The atmosphere was very different inside the place than it was through the rest of the city. She noticed people standing about in circles, betting and other activities that would raise an eye or two. However it wasn't until she reached the room with the large cage that things became very interesting. There were people gathered the around the cage, chanting and yelling. Kyra drew closer into the crowd to see what all the fuss was about. There were two people on the inside of the cage, a man and a woman. The man was tall, muscle built and looked tough enough. The woman had lightly gilded, olive skin, multicolored long hair, and four arms.

Kyra was in shock, never in her life had she seen a human, or kelvic with four arms. While most people not familiar with Eypharians would have stared long and hard. Kyra gocked, golden eyes wide, mouth hung open. She watched in amazement as the woman put all four of her arms to work in beating the man senseless. She pushed further through the crowd until she was standing right outside of the cage. Wide, unblinking eyes watched the Eypharian until she turned to leave the cage...and then she said it.

"Excuse me..but what are you exactly? You're not human, are you some form of spider?"

The Eypharian became furious, and before the young kevlic knew what happened, she was challenged then forced into the cage without a second thought. Inside the cage being forced to fight an angry four armed woman, Kyra found herself back into a corner. She removed her cloak and tossed it to the side, also causing a sudden silence to fall over the crowd. What they had thought to be a small hooded man, turned out to be a beautiful blonde girl. The crowd went mad, raging about and cheering on like the brutes they were.

The fight had gotten that much more interesting.

The Eypharian had also been surprised to see the face of her opponent, but she didn't care. Man or woman, she would crush them all under the might of her four arms. Kyra glanced around, even spinning half way as the crowd yelled instructions of what the combatants should do to each other. Kyra wouldn't hear of any of their disgusting request, but the young kelvic was still in for a fight. The massive woman charged the tiny girl, reaching out to tackle her into the wall of the cage, Kyra jumped up, climbing the frame of the 6'5 woman, then leaping off her back to jump onto the wall of the cage behind her.

"This is no fun, no fun at all.."

Orion

It was never anything normal with this woman, was it? Massages that sent moans screaming throughout the entirety of the Stormhold Keep. Bringing in men who'd been bitten by other men. Always seeming to explore, always seeming to learn, always wanting to go somewhere she maybe wasn't supposed to go. And in it all, a trail of men would turn to goo in her wake, or at least become more perverse. The particularly rambunctious men seemed to feed off one another, shouting off vile thing after vile thing, wish suggestions that their fight should be of a more carnal nature. Gods, I'm no better than they, he mused after being unable to disagree with one of the saucier suggestions. Exotic versus lithe and nimble.

"Get out of my way," Orion commanded, pushing aside patrons until he could force himself to the front row. It didn't appear to Orion that the attractive blonde was entirely sure what she'd gotten herself into. Lusty, lecherous men prayed that clothing would rip, desiring more than a simple beat down in this exchange. The four armed woman was clearly one that earned a living in the cage, where as Kyra...well, Orion didn't truly know anything about her except that she was expressive and curious. If he had to venture a guess, he wouldn't have put her as a fighter, but there was something that said she wasn't a novice about her movements. To climb someone in battle? That was amazing or foolish, perhaps both. Still, as the Eypherian woman turned to resume her assault on the blonde woman, Kyra would have to show she could do more than move around.

Orion rested a hand against the cold steel cage, watching the fight unfold before him, trying to drown out the shouting and screaming to study the movements of the two combatants. A fear was, however, creeping up in his mind that these men were a ripped top away from breaking into a frenzy, and if that were the case, Orion was required to step in and get his ass kicked, right? He could only pray they would keep themselves contained, enjoy the show, and go about their merry way. While The Spinning Coin operated under the watchful eye of the knights, it and the Soothing Waters Bathhouse were two places in the walled city where something inappropriate was most likely to happen. "Come on, Kyra..."

"Why do you wish to fight me? I have done nothing!"

Kyra yelled from her position on the wall of the cage. She crawled up further and away from the woman, keeping her eyes locked on the mass of meat and arms at the foot of the cage. The crowd continued to yell and make calls to both woman, some even attempting to shake the cage to force Kyra to fall down. The young kelvic gasped as she almost lost her grip and held on tighter. It was a sight to see for those in attendants, the clothing that the Eypharian wore were warrior like, but showed just as much skin across her form, then there was Kyra, dressed in men's clothing, baring a bit of cleavage where the vest slumped in the front.

The Eypharian moved to the cage, latching onto it with all four hands as she started to stake it. However the cage itself was sturdy and strong, even with the might of the woman, she couldn't stake it enough to force the young kelvic down. The warrior glared up at Kyra, a fierce look in her eyes as she gnashed her feet. "Get down here snowblonde! You insulted me, no one can do that. Now we fight!" her common wasn't the best but it was clear enough that she got her point across, and if there was a time that her words failed her, the use of brute strength was always a factor.

"You are mad! It was not an insult, I asked you a question!" Kyra said with a hiss and scrambled a bit further away from the woman. "If you didn't want to talk, then you should have said so spiderwoman!"

The Eypharian growled, now fully pissed off and ready to rip the tiny blonde limb from limb. She slammed herself into the cage, using all four arms to quickly propel herself up the wall to reach her opponent. Kyra's eyed grew wide as she watched the huge woman swiftly darting up the side of the cage almost without effort. She turned away, slipping to her left before leaping from the cage wall. The girl landed, tucking her body in and rolling across the floor. The Eypharian lowered herself back down, cursing the entire way and landed on the floor a few feet from Kyra.

Standing to her feet again, Kyra grabbed the handle of her bastard sword and ripped it from it's sheath. She stared intently at the woman standing opposite her ready to attack if she moved even an inch. Suddenly there was a yell from the crowd and the cage door opened as someone tossed in two hand axes. The four-armed warrior picked up both axes and held them opposite the other, while still having two hands free in which she slammed into fists."Come at me snowblonde! Show me your strength!"

[The Spinning Coin] Look What the Cat Dragged In (Kyra)

Orion

Orion watched intently as the fight really began to take shape. It was confusing the way it was unfolding. She didn't seem interested in fighting, only retreating. He couldn't complain how she went about it, though. Over sized clothing gave him a better look at things than when he'd encountered her at the Rearing Stallion. Her lithe frame made it quite simple to move so nimbly, but she'd never win just running away. The words which she shouted only began to confirm suspicions that this wasn't exactly a willing event.

"Gods...please don't make me have to step in," he muttered. It was supposed to be a night off to relax. It wasn't supposed to be him playing knight, because at this point, it was all he could do. He wasn't skilled with a blade, he wasn't skilled with the shield; he barely knew anything. Yet with all these men dripping with barely contained lust, with a cage the only thing keeping them from potentially crossing a line, and with Kyra likely being an unwilling participant in this event, what choice would have have? The two women exchanged words, and his fears were realized.

"Stop this immediately!" Orion's voice was drowned out by the yelling men, only the few around him reacting in any manner. Shaking his head, Orion moved up next to the cage, his blade coming slowly from it's sheath. That was enough to get their attention, the rambunctious crowd falling quiet. "There we go. I don't think it would be terribly good for this locale or it's workers if it turned out there was a woman being forced to fight against her will? What do you think?"

"Who the petch do you think you are, pretty boy?"

"I train under Captain Knight Dinah Lorene. Now stand down and let this woman go." Orion turned to address Kyra, a smile upon his lips. "That is, unless the pretty lady wants to stay in there with her four armed friend."

The crowd outside the cage continued to roar, some banging out the walls of the cages, and others pounding their mugs onto the near-by tables. There were cheers, grunts, and all sorts of other noises coming from the crowd, and it all mixed together in the young kelvic's ears. But she drowned it all out, she needed to, she had to focus on the big woman in front of her. Golden embers burned a piercing gaze into the four-armed warrior as Kyra sized her up.

Her hand squeezed tightly around the handle of her blade as she waited and readied herself. She hadn't heard Orion as he moved forward to put a stop to it all. His voice had been drowned out by all the fuss and Kyra couldn't take her focus away from the fight in progress. "Come at me snowblond so I can pound you!" the Eypharian yelled and took a step forward.

That one step was all she needed to see, before Kyra strung into action. She raced up to the mammoth of a woman and swung her bastard sword up and downward in a slash-like swing. The warrior woman brought both her arms in to block the blade using both of her axes. She could only smile then, feeling the weakness of her opponents arms pushing down against her blades. In a quick and viscous move, she uncrossed her arms and pushed forward at the same time, a move that not only pushed the kelvic off balance, but also sent her tumbling backwards.

Kyra forced herself to stop and regroup, being sure not to loose the blade she carried or fall to the floor. She wasn't sure why she turned her head when she did, but she looked to her left, and there was a man standing on the outside of the cage looking right at her. She remembered him easily enough, it hadn't been that long sense she last saw him after all. "Orion?" He said something to her then, but she could barely hear him over the buzzing of the people around them. "These people are insane, I was just..!!"

Suddenly the Eypharian woman charged the tiny girl, and Kyra spun around to block with her sword. The force of the woman's attack slammed her hard against the cage where the Eypharian pinned her axes into her bastard sword. A soft moan slipped from Kyra's lips before turning into a more angry grunt as she tried to push the woman backwards. But it was no use, the Eypharian was just to strong. Finally after a moment, Kyra released her weapon and dropped to her knees as she scurried between the woman's legs. The move caused the warrior woman to tip off balance from the show of strength that was now applied to nothing.

Moving quickly, the four-armed woman reached down with her unarmed hands and grabbed the young kelvic's legs and tried to pull her back around. Kyra yelped as she was suddenly grabbed, she twisted her body and kicked hard until she was free of the woman's grip as well as the pants that she wore. The Eypharian had pulled hard, as she attempted to keep a hold of Kyra and now stood with only the girl's pants in her hands. While the woman was fumbling with her discarded pants, Kyra rolled onto her back and brought both of her feet together and slammed them upward into the woman's hindquarters.

The Eypharian stumbled forward, a sudden rumbling noise rose from her belly just before a mighty wind of gases and byproducts exploded from her rectum. The crowd fell silent, not a person in the building could speak at the shock of what they had just heard and now smelled. Kyra coughed and gasped for air as she scurried further backward after having been the closet to the blast of flatulence. "Oh gods...that was awful.."

The crowd erupted into a fit of laughter, some even falling onto the ground and each other. No one could contain themselves and there wasn't a dry eye in the entire building. The warrior Eypharian was embarrassed now more than words could ever say. Her eyes burned red, her pulse rose and throbbed as she clinched her fists tighter around her axes. She quickly spun around to face Kyra who was standing on the other side of the cage quiet vulnerably. "Hear me snowblond!!! This time..you..die!"

[The Spinning Coin] Look What the Cat Dragged In (Kyra)

Postby Orion Michaels on March 15th, 2013, 4:36 pm

Just like that, all of the distraction he’d caused was out the window. No one was paying attention to the knight in training, as an audible gasp came over the crowd when a pair of pants was removed. Exposed legs and undergarments in view? That was everything which the rowdy crowd had hoped to see. Orion instinctively turned to see what was going on, as the sound a man made when he saw something he really wasn’t supposed to just happen to be one the former doctor was quite familiar with. He opened his mouth in shock, surprised to see lovely legs as she rolled and kicked the four armed woman straight in her midsection.

Oh how Orion wished he’d kept his mouth closed.

Gagging instantly, the blue eyed man nearly collapsed from the horrible stench that filled the entirety of the spacious locale. Tears welled up in his eyes as, for the first time in his life, he knew exactly what death must smell like, for there was nothing worse he’d ever experienced. “What the petch did you eat!?” He had raised his arm to his face, trying to cover his eyes and filter anything that was trying to assault his senses. Horrendous. The worst ever. Anything appealing about the warrior had gone out the door…or specifically, her ass. Infuriated and embarrassed she yelled a death threat to the blond woman, advancing on her with malicious, murderous intent.

“Kyra!”

Orion pulled his dagger from its place and tossed it through an opening in the cage over to where she retreated to. The woman was unarmed, and if the Eypherian warrior got her hands on her again, she was done for. He knew a dagger wouldn’t be enough, though, and it needed to stop. He pushed his way over to the door to the cage, beginning to yell at the man who’d locked them in. “Unlock this immediately. I do not believe she agreed to any sort of death match!” The squire’s heart was racing out of control, this being the first serious display of duty to the Knights. A drunk here and there was one thing. A murderous multi-armed woman was another. “Open the petching cage! Or do the knights need to come check this place out a little harder?!” He voice was frantic, not terribly intimidating, but a knight was a knight, and the worker wasn’t one to kick that nest. The metal on metal of a key turning was inaudible in the laughter and noise of the crowd, but when the lock opened Orion threw the door open and stepped in.

“Hey, four-arms. Why don’t you put down those axes and go clean yourself up. I think I see a little leaking.”

Am I part of a petching comedy routine?

Blade ready, Orion advanced slowly on the powerful combatant, hoping that maybe between Kyra and himself they could stop the woman’s insanity. It was abundantly clear they’d receive no help from elsewhere. “Seriously! Stop this madne-“

“Ladies and gentleman,” the cage operator announced. “I give you Doctor Squire and The Snowblonde versus The Mistress of Stench! Enjoy!”

Oh gods.

Kyra stepped back a little further, the young kelvic was now unarmed as well as pants-less. The tall leather boots she swore, wrapped around the length of her calves and stopped just below her knees. The dim lighting in the room shined off the leather strapping's showing that the boots were newer than old. Her pale, slender thighs were exposed for all to see, and the milky white skin easily off set the purple, cotton fabric of the undergarments that she wore. But she stayed focused, not letting it bother her. While it was true that she was comfortable in her skin, Kyra knew that this wasn't the time to worry about modesty.

"Yea! Take it off baby!"

"Hey! Use those axes and cut off those sexy legs!"

The calls became even worse now, and the crowd became more vocal about what they wanted to see happen next. Not all of them were looking for some sort of twisted sexual encounter, but the other ideals shouted were just as frightening if not more. Kyra ignored them as best as she could and focused on the brute stalking her. She moved back against the wall of the cage, nimble fingers reaching out to graphs into it. She needed to be ready if the woman attacked and she needed to climb the cage again.

When Orion called out, Kyra turned to look in his direction just in time to notice the flying dagger coming her way. Quickly kneeling down, Kyra picked up the weapon and stood posed for the next round. A dagger was by no means a weapon worthy of two axes, but she would have to make due. There was a sudden growl coming from the other end of the cage, the Eypharian was even anger now that someone had given the girl a weapon after she had worked to remove the first from her grip.

"I'm gonna cut you up good Snowblonde. Then maybe I'll sell your limbs off to these disgusting humans."

"You'll never touch me again...ever." Kyra retorted with a hiss as she raised the dagger in her hand and readied herself for what was to come. Just then the cage door swung open, and the good doctor stepped inside. "Orion..what are you doing?" she asked glancing at him curiously. The Eypharian roared and cursed the doctor turned squire for his joke and even spat at him. She squeezed her fists tighter around the handles of her axes and moved closer.

"Is this one of your hunts Orion? I do not like this..." Kyra said irritated as she glanced back between the two. Then someone spoke up, yelling to the crowd of an in prompt match up. "What's going on here? How can they make us fight?" Adrenaline race through her tiny frame, and her heart started to work into over time pumping blood into her limbs. The hair on the back of her neck stood up and her vertical pupils dilated, it seems there was no way out of it. The mammoth of a warrior was seriously pissed off now, not only had Orion made fun of her but now so was everyone else and the humiliation was just too much to take.

"I'll get you for this!! You both won't escape my wraith!!" she roared and dashed towards them swinging her blades to kill. "You're both mine!!"

It wasn't the time for jokes at all. Not with a stanky four armed angry woman wanting to pick her teeth with their bones and all, but it was too hard to resist. "Purple looks good, Kyra," he remarked, shaking his head at the absurdity. But did it ever. Milky white skin accented by fabric that only teased every male in the establishment. Orion couldn't admire, or even keep cracking jokes, though, because there was someone who wanted both of them them dead now, and that would end up putting his knightly aspirations on hold if he had an ax in his face. The horrible things the men shouted did momentarily distract Orion as he turned to glance at those who wished dismemberment, or even worse. Sick bastards..

"What am I doing? Saving a damsel in distress, clearly," he deadpanned, both hands gripped tightly around the hilt of the long sword. "Do promise me a kiss for my efforts, will you?" He circled slowly around the Eypharian as she tried to lob a glob of spit his way. "And that's not even the most disgusting thing you've done today. Color me impressed," he remarked, that ever so common smirk staying upon his lips. The large woman only got closer and closer to Orion, and he knew if Kyra didn't help him, he was done for. Still, it made for entertainment. Maybe he could claim a portion of the payment now. "No hunting here, Kyra. And no, they can't really make us fight, but I feel like we don't have too much of a choice. Unless you'd like to paint the floor red? We'll deal with this establishment aft-" Orion ducked as two ax heads just narrowly missed taking off his head. The blue eyed squire rammed his shoulder into the midsection of the woman, knocking her a off balance while he moved around to place himself between the aggressor and Kyra.

"Kyra, mind helping me out he-"

The sound of steel on steel echoed as Orion frantically parried a powerful blow from one of the ax swings, while metal scraping on metal caused sparks to fly and the crowd to roar.

"KILL HIM!"

"CUT OFF HER ARMS!"

These people were sick, that was for certain. She was too skilled for him to possibly do anything they wished, though, and blow after blow was sending Orion moving across the cage backwards, step after step. High swing, high block. Jump back when she swings low. For the love of it all, please don't let one of them hit me. She was relentless, and as far as Orion was concerned, she was unstoppable. It was everything he could do not to allow a blade to connect. "Ky-..Kyra! Do something!" Orion was pushed up against the back of the cage now, his blade being knocked aside again and again as he deflected strike after strike. An unskilled fighter, he could only managed for so long. One of the large woman's blows nicked Orion's forearm, sending pain coursing through is arm, and blood spilling onto the ground and flying into the crowd. He winced from the burning, and rolled off to the side as the much more experienced warrior gloated over her small victory. By roll, of course, he hit the ground with his full weight, flopping over in an amusing, ungraceful display. An acrobat, he was not.

I've made a horrible mistake.

"Purple?" she asked curiously. The young kelvic was still learning to find the hidden or obscure meaning behind the words of others, rather than taking everything they said at face value. Though she had come a long way in catching on to things, sometimes it took her a bit longer. By the time she had realized what the squire was referring to, the large four armed beast had sprung into action and attacked her would-be hero.

Kyra spun out of the close range attack, turning her tiny form into a cartwheel to avoid being trapped against the cage any longer. Without a pause, she flipper herself over again, this time planting her hands on the floor and pushing off as she swung her legs over her body to push herself further away from the fighting. The girl landed, sliding across the floor close to where she had left her bastard sword earlier.

She grasped the handled firmly and pulled it off the floor, allowing her arm to lead in a swing as she turned her body back around just in case the Eypharian had come for her again. Luckily the woman was still attacking Orion and for the moment had forgotten all about her. She could hear him calling for her as the woman drove him backwards and quickly over powered him.

Kyra gripped the handle of her blade tightly and raced towards them, ready to attack the Eypharian again. The large woman turned half way, swinging her arms out to block the bastard sword with her axe and a forearm. A deep red began to seep from her arm where the sharp blade had cut into her arm. The woman growled and stared viciously at Kyra. The young kelvic hissed back, her gaze burning holes into the face of the woman.

Suddenly, she moved, pushing all of her strength to shove the girl backwards and away from her injured arm. Kyra stumbled backwards , barely having time to react before the woman was upon her again. She slashed at the girl with her axes, one are after the others, and even took a few shots at her using her balled up fists. Kyra stepped back again, swinging her blade up to block the axe and pushing it away as she ducked the second axe and swung her blade to connect with the woman's fist. She could tell that the four-armed woman felt the pain from her fist slamming into the blade of her sword which also caused her to pause in her attack.

Seeing an opportunity, Kyra lifted her sword up and over her shoulder and swung it hard at her opponent. The Eypharian released an audio sound of panic as she throw all four of her arms up to block. The bastard sword slammed into both axes and dug into the woman's forearms, which caused more wounds to open up. She growled in fury, breathing in as she lifted her leg and planted a big boot directly into Kyra's chest. The girl gasped loudly as the breath was forced from her lungs and she was sent flying backwards against the wall of the cage.
