A Change In The Play
Spring 7th, 513 AV; 12th Bell
Hannah was all alone. Of course there was the common rabble and their usual business that went about everyday. The fountain was just a good of a place as any, and if Hannah knew any better then Ignotus would meet her here. "Paranoid to the core he is," she muttered as she sat down with her legs crossed, "I bet he he'll show up in that fancy get up he likes to wear." If only there was someone to bet against, that would certainly make this meeting something to look forward to. She had sent Ignotus a letter last night, and with high hopes she believed the contents would prove interesting to the man. It certainly was a relief for her knowing she wasn't getting engaged into something she wasn't ready for, and she certainly wasn't going to string a man along for something that'll never happen.
For one she wasn't ready for such a commitment, and after yesterday's shenanigans went down she had learned plenty about Ricky's girlfriend. Telion had a secret even she couldn't admit to herself, and it didn't take long for Hannah to catch on. Now she had a way out, a window of opportunity really, that involved a settled debt and endless freedom.
She had learned a lot of the guard, seen a completely different side of him that brought respect as well as fear. Ricky was definitely a treasure to be had, after the display he put on yesterday all for the sake of one person he cared for. That kind of love was what made him stronger, thus if she could convince Igno with her idea and pull through with it; both Rick and Hannah would walk away and live on with their lives. She had a plan that could work if she played it cool and acted swiftly, the sooner this ordeal was done the sooner she could leave; a hopefully forget the mess she was involved with again.
