20th Of Spring 513 AV

Kise had woke up early today, like always. Except today wasn't tired or drained. He felt relieved if anything. Yesterday was a nice day to him. But today was another day, and a totally different story. Here Kise stood...In the dorm looking at himself shirtless. As he stood he held his right fist at waist level staring at his hand. "My boxing...Should I?" Kise chuckled. "Do people respect me?" He laughed at the small thought of sounding like K. He then took his left hand and rubbed over his abs slowly..."I'm growing." "K, can you hear me? Wakeup please it's time to start our day." Kise announced in a calm voice subconsciously. 

"Yeah. Yeah wha-huh?" Was all K actually uttered out before realizing reality. "Oh yeah..Today's your rematch." K said regaining his cool and calm voice. "Yup." Kise replied as he slid on a clean white t-shirt. "I'm actually...Kinda proud of you Kise."K said in a light yet rare tone. "Ser Corben is turning you into a man with all this training." "And what are you?" Kise said with a smile as he slid on his loose baggy pants. "I'm already a man bro, your the one that's holding me back." K said teasingly. "You know K...One day I'm gonna be gone." Kise said softly. "And your gonna miss me..." It grew silent, for K teased Kise a lot, but over the time they have shared they both loved each other.

"What are you talking about...?" K said in a slightly confused tone. They were brothers with no friends, so the thought of losing his other half completely unnerved him. "Well K, I was just playing." Kise said with a smile. "Now who's the one who can't take a joke?" "Don't you know you won't ever lose me bro?" "We'll be together forever I promise." With that being said Kise moved over to his bed and grabbed his armor. Quickly sliding it on he felt a little wobbly and off today. He then stumbled a bit and almost tripped. "Uh...Watcha doing?" K said in a sarcastically curious tone. "I don't know...My body just feels a little off." Kise said while he slowly stood up.

"I think I know what you need." K said in an eerie tone. "You do?" Kise said gullibly. "What?" "Go to the bed and look under and get some of my stash." K said with a chuckle. "Go ahead it won't bite." Kise became instantly mortified. "Wait? You meant some of my candy right?" Kise said in the fear of smoking. "Nope, your gonna do the real deal my man." K said enjoying his joke way to much. "But I don't even like it when you smoke! So why would I like to do it firsthand myself?" Kise stated in a panicky voice. "Do I force you to eat my candy? No. Because it's just not right!" "Shetup Kise...It was a joke." K said bursting into laughter. "I knew that." Kise replied as he began to blush a bit.

"Let's go K, we have to go to the grounds now." Kise said as he stood up and left the dorms. "I would've been gone if I had control of the body now." K remarked. As Kise was walking to the training grounds he thought about what he said earlier to K, about him being gone. He thought that K must've been thinking the same thing because there was no talking for a while. It was so quiet Kise actually felt as if he was the only soul inhabiting his body for moments. A single tear ran down his face as he tried to put on a fake smile. "K let's just focus on training ok? That crap I said earlier was just nonsense..." Kise said trying to comfort and break the silence.

"Yeah Kise, for once your right." K replied in a friendly tone. However as Kise walked he and K both knew that that eventually that topic would come back up in the near future. No matter how much he despised everything about it. Kise tried his hardest to forget it and focus on the task at home. Perhaps...He was too worried. He knew today was an important day, for he was about to have a combat match with his patron. As he walked onto the grounds he quickly noticed his master out of all the knights first. Ser Corben was sitting on the ground as if meditating next to his might sword plunged into the earth. As Kise walked up to him he smiled as he said, "Ser Corben...Good morning." He began to tighten his black gloves.

Kise then bowed and walked into a ten foot range of his master. "Ah...Good morning my boy." Ser Corben declared as he rose up from the ground. "Have you came prepared?" "Yes..Yes Ser." Kise replied as he drew his scythe. He began to rotate it in his right hand before also stabbing the earth just like his patron, thus showing his state of readiness. He took off his top heavy armor and glared at his patron. "Ah yes, if you think it is necessary." Ser Corben said as he did the same. "Are you ready?" "Yes Ser, are you is the question." Kise said in a determined voice. "Yes, except this time it's a man's fight. No holding back." Ser Corben declared. "That's the only way I know Ser." Kise said with a smile. 

Both Kise and Ser Corben started to walk up to each other. The aura's were so hot and tense that sparks could've possibly began to form. As soon as the two entered a three foot radius the punches started flying. Kise initiated it with a right uppercut which was completely and instantly parried thus giving Ser Corben an opening. Ser Corben stunned him with a right hook and brought him back with a deadly double dose if two left jabs with a left hook. Kise's head stood no chance against the vicious combo, but as soon as he got a grip it was soon lose by feeling the excruciating pain of a knee two the stomach. Forcing the air, and a little bit of unmentionables, out of his body. This forced him into submission as he leant over and began to gasp for air, which his patron took as another opening, and roundhouse kicked him in the cheek.  Kise fell with great momentum, adding pain on his collision with the earth.

Forced on his back he laid in pain. Not as bad as last time...But definitely still just as painful. "One...Two!...Three!" Ser Corben started counting. "Your certainly quiet K." Kise said as he slowly rolled onto his knees. "No tips? Normally your over-opinionated." "Uh yeah...Um..Stop being so predictable. Your allowing him to notice your movement and read you like a book. Don't allow him to get that opportunity. Keep him on his toes. Switch it up and keep you and him guessing." K said suprising fast. "Got it!" Kise said as he stood up straightly and unscathed. "Ah I see you decided to get back up." Ser Corben said accompanied by a laugh. "Yeah...You wanted a match right?" Kise said in a smart tone. "Ok then you got one!" Kise yelled as he charged his patron with great speed.

He was soon stopped as he felt a gut wrenching straight to the stomach. He lost all emotion as his face flush with pain. He quickly jumped back and tried to set his feet back. "So...What was your intentions?" Ser Corben sarcastically asked. Kise wobbled a bit and started to slow his breathing. "K...Help?" Kise thought. "Kise you can't just rush this man like some beast, I said keep him on his toes but you just ran in." K said in disgust. "Try again but mix it up with speed instead of power." "Yeah ok I think I gotcha." Kise said as he charged once more. Throwing a right hook with a left uppercut, then three alternating jabs he began to attempt a faint and ended with a straight. Ser Corben dodged all of these punches swiftly and began to speak. "Kise you throw a nice accurate punch but it lacks precision. You must predict my movements and strike like a snake!" 

Kise took his teachers words to heart and immediately  tried to pierce his body by throwing a jab which was instantly countered in a flash. Ser Corben had slapped the back of Kise's fist downwards lowering his gaurd and stance...Another opening. He returned the momentum Kise had with a sharp right hook that sent Kise to the floor in an instant. The punch seemed to sap the energy from the squire and hit his soul hard. Kise's entire face was drained as he just fell to his knees, then plopped facedown.

"Ah, good attempt my boy." Ser Corben said with a smile. "Oh yes were was I?..One..Two..." Kise's head was ringing and the outside world had seized to exist in his mind. The pain was numb. Every sound not internal had faded out..All he could hear was the sound of a shallow heartbeat. And..K? "-Se...-Ise....-Kise! Kise can you hear me?" K yelled. His words seemed to pull Kise from the pool verge of darkness. "Kise get up!" "I can't ...It's over..I lost..Did mom make pancakes? You know she can't cook." Kise muttered out. "Kise get a grip! Your out of it...Your in a boxing match! Don't let this guy win!"

Kise somehow rolled and got up. He stumbled and wobbled but nonetheless he was up. "Kise he is reading you. I'm sorry for not being there at first but I'm here now. Were still a team. You need to show-. No we need to show this guy that we aren't lightweights! Show him that he has to fight and not treat us like mere childs play. Right now he is our enemy!" K ranted. "Kise you remember what we read in those books?" "Uh..Yeah. I do." Kise said as he came to. "Well were gonna do that crap! It's time Kise. The Illusion Step." "Yeah! I'm ready!" Kise said as he walked towards his patron. "Remember Kise, the next knockdown is it. Our body won't take much longer." K warned. "So finish it here." 

Kise quickly charged his patron except instead of attacking he began to bob and weave. What Kise had just noticed was that his patron didn't throw many punches he just really was good at countering. Ser Corben continued to keep up his guard and step back but every time he stepped back Kise took two steps in his direction. Bobbing and weaving with speed increasing every second. Back and forth, left and right, and in and out, his technique wasn't exactly the same as the book but he had the basics. "Wait for it..Wait for it.." K mumbled to Kise trying not to break his concentration. Ser Corben was a knight of sword fighting and couldn't truly keep up with the weaving to much being caught off guard, and he lost his footing and began to trip slightly from the speed of the weaves. "Now! Shoot Kise!" K cheered. "Tigers Fury!" Kise yelled in unison with his counterpart as he took the momentum from his final weave and focused it on a right uppercut. The uppercut made contact but only grazed his patron. As Ser Corben took the punch he quickly spun and back fisted Kise instantly knocking him out.

When Kise came to he was no longer in control of the body. He quickly tried to gather information. "K, what? What happend?" "You lost..He knocked you out clean to sleep." K said while he laid on the bed eating candy. "I'm so sorry K I thought that if--" Kise tried to explain before he was interrupted. "Don't explain yourself bro. You did good..Heck, great even." K said in a care free tone. "You truly have pleased me. And also raised my standards.." "Haha, well that's good and bad." Kise said as he chuckled. "Wait..How did we get home?" 

"Ser Corben carried us." K said as he tossed a candy rapper on the floor. "Yeah the poor guy felt bad about kicking your ass so he carried us." "He's actually a nice guy.." K said as he started on another piece of candy. "Yeah, I'm happy that he's our patron." Kise said in agreement. "Well since our body is very sore, he said there's no training tomorrow. And we are excused from patrol." K said. "If we choose not to go..." "Yeah..Again K I'm sor-" "Don't...Really don't. You did good today." K put another piece of candy in his mouth as it got quiet. "You know don't you..." K asked.

"Know what?" Kise asked blankly. "Don't play dumb, about what I've been trying to do." K replied. "Oh...Yeah." Kise said. "But that's your business...If you choose to do it and think it's right I will support you." "Yeah Kise...You've always supported me." "Well I'm gonna get some rest...Ease the body." "Goodnight Kise.." K said as he closed his eyes. "Goodnight..." Kise replied quietly.
