Albitau Redeye Appearance Race: Drykas Gender: Male Age: 16 Birthday: Summer, 8th, 498 Birthplace: Endrykas Appearance: Albitau is afflicted with a severe form of albinism, giving him skin nearly parchment white and eyes garnet red. Fortunately, while he suffers from the photophobia common to those of this genetic variation, his vision is outstanding. Physically, he is wiry and strong, promising to fill out further as he gains a few more years of age. He stands roughly five feet nine inches high, and still growing. Albitau, despite his history, has a very delicate beauty to his face and long limbs. Character Concept Albitau is, above all things, self serving. He is an arrogant creature who is utterly confident in his own abilities. He uses it as a cloak, as he is still very much a feral child and is learning how to make his way in the world. Being amongst warriors for most of his life has made him a harsh creature with a love of discipline and the heat of battle. Character History Albitau was found rolling around with six wolf pups in the wilds of the Sea of Grass by the Diamond Clan of the Drykas. Filthy, sunburned but otherwise unharmed, Albitau was taken from his feral family at the young age of four. He snarled endlessly, an appearance made even more frightening by the wild mess of colourless hair on the top of his head. His albinism wasn’t known until he was actually bathed, a nasty process that took hours. Many of the women assigned to Albitau’s care received bites and cuts from ragged nails and sharp little milk teeth. The Diamond Clan took his pale skin and near iridescent hair as a sign of the wind god, and decided to keep him. Albitau was slow to learn language, as children who learn languages at such a late age are distinctly disadvantaged in this area. They just didn’t account for how pissed off they’d made him. His legendary temper spurred him to study language harder than any other child in the clan. He was determined to show himself up as the strong creature he knew himself to be, not the weak foundling. He took to swordplay like a fish to water, a determined, reckless, and aggressive creature. Much like the wolves he was taken from, Albitau proved to be a skilled hunter of man, beating other boys relentlessly in order to prove his worth. Albitau quickly learned a reputation as a bloodthirsty bully, a reputation he has maintained throughout his young teenage life. Even though he is part of the Drykas, he has only consented to four tattoos. Two small rings of sepia around his wrists depicting the six wolves he was found with, three on each wrist. The two on his ankles depict the mother and father he never knew.
