The comment he made about hating singer saddened Aradia a little, but she just nodded her head. Not everyone liked music, not everyone liked singers, but she was confident in her ability that she could change people’s minds about that. If they gave her chance that is. She was not sure if this storm cloud was going to, but she would try to sway him if she could.

She asked the man what brought him to Wind Reach, and the answer she received was not one she was expecting. She instantly felt bad for the man, the way he said it was as if his wife had died. The look on his face made her not question him further, she just nodded her head. The comment about him beating heads in took her for a whirl. The storm clouds likes to beat flesh with his hands… Interesting. Aradia thought with a chuckle to herself.

Then the conversation took a turn, all attention on her and her heritage. She wasn’t exactly ashamed by it, she wasn’t exactly proud either, she was happy with who she was, but that didn’t mean she would not get picked on about it. His sexual comment made her burst out with laughter though, the alcohol already making her guard drop. His next comment about him being a Snowsong and not liking them made her frown. Yes.. He was a Snowsong. He left Avanthal… for… more freedom… To be him with out… the hold business. That was when he met… my mother.. She was a Dek here in Wind Reach… Inarta. They both broke from the bonds of their cities… Live a free … nomadic… life style now. Aradia explained with a little exhale, Wow that drink was stronger than I thought… Aradia shook her head a little. My brother… Endal… Brought me to Wind Reach..

The conversation turned once again, How cute… He is so random. Aradia thought with a playful smirk on her lips. He wanted her to sing him a song, and excitement flared in her eyes. She was more than happy to sing this man a song, though if he tried to throw her off the mountain she would kick him in that male soft spot of his.

I would love… To sing you a song… My handsome friend. Aradia slurred her words a little and giggled, she searched her mind for a calming song, and found one she wrote during the Winter season. The song did not talk about broken hearts, lovers gone wrong, death, blood, or anything negative of that nature. It was more of an uplifting, positive, soothing song. Aradia had yet to experience the true feeling of a broken heart, she had felt rejection, cruelness from others, and the tears from someone she thought as her friend, betraying her. Love for someone other than a family member was something she had never had before. But she imagined what it would be like, to be in love with someone.

She inhaled a deep breath, Ready to change your mind about hating singers? Aradia said with a chuckle, still slurring her words ever so slightly. She gave the man a playful wink, and began to sing in her mezzo-soprano tone, her voice coming out soft and soothing, keeping the song calm for the man. She straightened up in her chair, keeping her back straight, and looked straight at Darren, only closing her eyes when she felt the music over take her.

When you close your eyes,
Can you see our night sky?
Do you see the shooting stars,
That danced for only us?
Together we sat there,
And we watched.
With the wide eyes of a child,
We dreamed, as one flesh.
Together, a bond so strong
One flesh, one love, never ending.

Aradia had to stop singing, because she hiccupped after saying ‘never ending.’ Her cheeks flared in a small blush, but she laughed it off with her genuine laugh. She was slightly embarrassed that it had happened, but she had consumed alcohol so she couldn’t suppress the little drunken hiccup from escaping. The Singer leaned over and whispered, What ya think? her violet eyes looking into those beautiful Vantha ones he owned. She wondered in the back of her mind if he could smell that fuzzy squirrel drank on her breath or not.

OOCNo worries, she is feeling the symptoms of drinking alcohol, so she doesn’t mind. :) Plus he is interesting to my PC because his words are spoken so differently than others. Lol

Holds business? Darren raised an eyebrow at the detail. Not sure what that entails, though I basically said the same think just awhile ago. "Ehh... sounds horrible." Scratching his nose Darren merely gave an uninterested shrug before doing a double take at Adaria. "I mean. Good for you. Compelling life-story." Listening to all this prattling and small talk seemed to be slowly killing the Whitevine. Giving a pained grin Darren slowly raised his head up and down against his will trying to find a reason to continue this social interaction. Lie. "Yes." Darren finally said managing to croak out the single word.

Darren made a face having Adaria make a scene of herself so close to him. 'I'm serious about throwing you off the mountain you know.' Settling back Darren merely enjoyed the look Adaria was giving to him, even if she was spouting out the type of nonsense he so hated. Chuckling slightly Darren snapped out of his trance as he gave a polite clap. "I liked the ending and not for the reason you think mind you." Rolling his eyes at Adaria's confident whisper Darren tried to be as convincing as he can be complimenting the singer. "As wonderful as a Snowsong can get."

Taking a deep breathe Darren took a long look at the entrance, then the bar and then back at Adaria in turn. Though it was nice of her to put up with Darren so long the Whitevine feared that too much of the mixed blood undiluted might just make him insane. "You seem to nice to be talking to a guy like me. We should stop talking. We can do other stuff that both you and I can enjoy." Finally having his drink handed to him Darren took an appreciative gulp from the crisp drink before continuing. Already Darren's arm slithered around the other's shoulder as he turned his head asking. "Can I get you another drink? Then maybe we can leave this place?"

Of course Darren could smell the slight taste of alcohol on his lips, maybe after another Adaria would be able to speak in a way that the Whitevine can relate to. "No it's not what you think. It's getting a bit too crowded. Just want a change of pace." Downing the last of his drink Darren groggily got up checking his condition "You coming?" Without another word the Vantha started to head to the door before stopping short. Oh yea I almost forgot. "Before I forget. Want me to carry you out? You know you liked it." Grinning haughty with an overconfident look in his eye Darren extended his hands in an invitation. "Last chance."

He probably didn’t like it.. You drunken fool. Aradia said to herself, but smiled all the same. Singing while intoxicated did not mix that well, she remembered that from Ravok. Though it calmed the nerves, and made those who are not confident, well.. Confident. It also got people into situations that would rather not be in. So she just nodded her head and smiled, happy to hear his words, even if there was a trace of mean sarcasm behind them. Why does he talk like that… Aradia wondered with a sigh. He seemed so mad at the world and everyone in it, and Aradia could not help but wonder why this was. What happened to him to be so full of storms.

Aradia’s eye brows shot up her forehead at his impulsive words, ”Me.. Nice… Well maybe I am nicer than a prude like you, but I still enjoy talking to you.” Aradia said with a small chuckle, ignoring the latter comment that sounded too sexual for her liking. What a sex beast… Aradia thought, shaking her head ever so slightly. Aradia shook her head to his kind offer, she did not need any more alcohol. She was such a light weight that if she were to divulge in anymore, she’d not be able to walk herself home. She would end up passed out in a drooling heap in the floor at the Club. He wanted to leave the club, the protection of the people, and that made Aradia a little skeptical at his intentions.

Her face must have spoken volumes because the man quickly explained himself, saying the place was too crowded and he needed a change of pace. Aradia shrugged her shoulders, he was right; it was crowded and a little loud. The pounding of the music, the voices, kind of made her intoxicated head hurt.

So she got up and started to follow the Vantha man to the door. He stopped before reaching it, and she stopped as well, a little further behind him but close enough to hear his next words. Aradia laughed at his offer, but she shrugged her left shoulder, Why not have fun? The little singer asked herself, as she gave the man a very devious smile before running towards him and jumping up into his arms, wrapping her little arms around his neck, ”On ward” Aradia said between giggles, as she laid her spinning head on his shoulder, ”Everything is twirling like a fall leaf dancing in the autumn wind… Aradia said with a small hiccup, maybe running wasn’t the brightest of her ideas.

Sunshine Versus Storm Cloud

Finally. That conveyed a lot of things to Darren as he caught Adaria in his arms. "Gotcha chick" Smirking at his own cleverness the Vantha shrugged mentally wondering if he used the word correctly or not. If he ever learned the language Darren focused only on learning the race's curses and sexual innuendos associated with it. 'Maybe I said that wrong in Nari.' Shrugging at his lack of understanding the Vantha merely focused on what he did understand. Abducting random women.

"That tends to happen if you stay in this place for too long and drink the wrong things." Though Darren would not fully explain it looked like Adaria's drink might have been spiked. Not that he did it of course, the Whitevine has seen it plenty of times. Perhaps while he was distracting Adaria someone might have thought it funny to just slip something extra in her drink. Or perhaps she was just really bad with her alcohol. That is why I guzzle down my drinks.

Either way suited Darren just fine as cruel as that sounded. The mixed blood was finally calming down. Bringing his hand up and pressing on Adaria's bare stomach Darren repositioned her position to make for easier carrying. "Try not to throw up singer." Without another word Darren started navigated out of the dark club into the dark, foreboding hallways outside.

"Yea I'm definitely going to get lost." Patting his shoulder and squeezing Adaria lightly the Whitevine slowly eased off the redhead as they stalled in a reclusive hallway. "Take it easy songbird. Just relax for now." His eyes blinking into the barely lit hallways Darren took an easier breathe finally out of the nightclub. It looked like he wasn't going to be part of those extra hard party goers tonight. Perhaps that was just for the best. Meh I don't mind not being drugged halfway through the night either. Looking back at Adaria he gave the Inarta a look as he tried to figure out how she was faring. Though it wasn't the most pleasant of times it was nice being able to talk in his native language with someone whose hair reminded him of a shade of the Northern lights. "So we are outside. What do you want to do?"

The Vantha spoke Nari, her mother’s language. She did not know the man could speak like the Inarta.”You spoke Nari…?” Aradia slurred out, and then went quiet again, her head was spinning. She really shouldn’t drink alcohol, her small body reacted to it immediately. The Vantha told her it tended to happen if she stayed and drink the wrong things. She didn’t know a fuzzy squirrel packed such a punch in the gut, but she would remember what he said the next time she came to the club.

His hand touched her bare stomach and made her giggle slightly, she was not used to be touched by someone in exposed places, so it was an unnatural feeling for the little singer. The Vantha told her to try and not throw up, and quite honestly she hoped that did not happen either. She did not want this man to walk away with the wrong impression of her, and especially not to see her throwing up her dinner. ”I will try not to storm cloud.” Aradia said chuckling slightly, saying the nick name she had called him in her head aloud. She shrugged her shoulders vaguely, Oh well.. Alcohol makes an easy tongue.

They walked through the darken hall way away from the club, and the Vantha stated he was going to get lost. A rush of panic flared inside the Singer, she did not want to get lost in the dark mountain, one never knew what was lurking in the dark, and Aradia was afraid of really dark places. ”I don’t like the dark.” Aradia muttered as she eased off of the Vantha and stood a little shaky on the ground. She nodded her head at his words, ”I will be okay, are you okay?” Aradia asked with an intense look of worry, she hoped him carrying her had not hurt him in anyway. She knew she wasn’t that heavy, but still carrying another grown person was some heavy luggage.

In the hallway it was easier to breath. Not so many people crowded in a room, sucking up all the oxygen. Aradia inhaled a deep breath, and let it out slowly, calming herself. She was feeling slightly feverish, but she blamed it on the alcohol in her mix drink, it made her skin feel heated. The man asked her what she wanted to do, and honestly she was not sure what she wanted to do. ”I would like to fly… But since that is not possible… What would you like to do?” The Singer asked with a warm smile on her face. ”I hope carrying me… did not… break your back?” Aradia said in a questioning tone.

"Offer stands you know. Carrying you was easy. Now imagine how much easier flinging you off mountain would be. You would fly and I get my laugh of the day." Granted Adaria could also look around in at the Inclement Weather but there was no way Darren was going to go inside that place. His spot was already gone and the vantha was in no mood to humor the aggressive partygoers as their entertainment.

"I've already told you what I want to do. Beating down flesh one way or another is all that I know. I've yet to conquer SkyInarta. I have much more to learn in my traveling." Answering the warm smile with a sincere grin Darren looked idly at the stone surrounding them. Scoffing in turn Darren merely turned away from Adaria uninterested about her concern. "If carrying out a lightweight like you was difficult for me there wouldn't be much hope for me as a fighter right?"

Getting up slowly Darren proudly flexed his body before looking back at Adaria. "I'm strong. Don't forget those words. None of my peers could match me growing up so I had to leave and find my own way." Remembering a moment of happiness the Vantha shook his head solemnly before clenching his hands tightly. "I got sidetracked when I entered your city. So many things just fighting for my attention that I lost sight of the path set for me."

Recalling an art that has been hidden away since his stay in Wind Reach Darren loosened the his grip feeling the slight pathways that his body had. No. The vantha was restricted in what he can and cannot do here. Only time will tell if the vantha needed to force open the locks on his body. "I'm strong Adaria. Want me to show you? You might not walk straight after." Offering a hand to help Adaria up Darren gazed intently at the Inarta's eyes. A slight shimmer of color from the pupils was more then enough to put Darren at ease.

"If you want I can show you a few tricks." Offering his hands up like before the look in his eyes was that of a beguiling nature. "What about you Sunshine?" Rolling his eyes as he recalled the name given to him Darren could only see that name suitable for the current situation. "You actually sing quite well though I might be a bit biased. I am but a man wooing a woman." Though this man thinks of himself as a superhuman of sorts. Smirking at his distorted view of himself Darren tried to fish out what else Adaria might know. "Of course you do other things yes? Feel like sharing while I escort you home? Hmm... actually let me carry you home. I need some exercise."

oocAsking for various tricks is not out of the question ^^

The little singer was drunk, the world titled slightly around her, and for some reason her lips were numb. She continually sucked her lower lip into her mouth, biting it softly to make sure it had not fallen off. She laughed at the man’s mean words, ”I mean.. sprout wings… and fly.” Aradia shook her head from side to side, afterwards wishing she had not, it only made things more dizzy, ”You know… your words are harsh… but I think I like you.” Aradia laughed at her drunken comment, but shrugged her shoulders.

The drunken singer stayed silent as she listened to the man talk about having more to learn, losing sight of his goals when coming to Wind Reach. Aradia sighed, ”Maybe… not lose sight… but gained… more knowledge… to achieve goals.” Aradia said with a slightly slurred tongue, smiling at the man. ”Show me your… tricks… super man.” Aradia said laughing softly, bracing herself against the stone wall as her legs had become slightly wobbly.

The singer smiled at his compliment, although it was mixed with those mean words he so adored. ”Thank you. No that is not all I do. There is more to me than meets the eye.” Aradia told the man, in a soft, mysterious voice. She nodded her head accepting the offer home, went behind the man, and jumped up on his back, ”Giddy up stead!” Aradia said, smacing the Vantha on his rear, ”We shall show each other… tricks… on our way.” Aradia stated happily, bouncing up and down on the man’s back slightly, ”Gooooooo…” The woman said in a moaned slurred, ready to see his tricks, and show him her own.

"Yea I grow on people." Rolling his eyes at the comment Darren had stop pondering why people bothered socializing with him. Sometimes having a one track mind was harder then it seemed. "Hmph* Right well I won't comment further about that." Easing Adaria to her feet Darren took a deep breathe before giving a sincere simple at Adaria. "I've been looking to give myself a superhuman's name. What are most people afraid of? Spiders? I should start calling myself Spiderman when those fools challenge me."

"Same with me Sunshine." Spurred on Darren surged forth with Adaria on her back paying no heed to the Inarta's hot, flushed skin or the slight smacking. Breathing out in preperation Darren switched Adaria's position so that she was in front of him. A mere swivel and followed by another swivel and a lift Adaria would find herself riding atop the Vantha's shoulders as Darren gave a guttural roar in approval. "Don't fall, don't let go." Shifting to one side Darren suddenly eased her in a cradling position in the Vantha's arms with her holding on to his neck for support. "How was that? The other tricks I can only show you somewhere private. They all aren't sex related. Lots of sex tricks though." Adding the later part Darren shrugged as he eased Adaria down to the ground.

"This is where the common rooms are. Which one are you?" Stretching slightly Darren turned his head left to right before bobbing them the same way. Stretches builded the body in their own way. "I can probably bench you a few times if you r flying Adaria. Along with a few other things. Heard of plucked chicken into flying eagle?" Pursing his lips in thought he turned back to the Inarta giving her a chance to show off what she had been hiding. "Mind if I crash at you place after?"

Aradia could not help but laugh at the Vantha’s superhuman name, it was strange, made her think of a man with a spiders head and arms. ”Spiderman? No I do not think that is good enough. I still like ‘The Storm Cloud’. Storming in on people’s sunny days.”Aradia gave the man another chuckle, to let him know she was kidding. Then the male called her Sunshine, which did fit her perfectly. She was a ball of sunshine, always happy, trying to stay positive, and trying to put smiles on people’s faces at all costs.

Aradia was a tad surprised at the man’s strength, and gave squeal when he slung her around like a small sack of potatoes. She was actually quite glad that the position switched again to a cradled one. Then the man had the audacity to speak once again of sex. This made a devious smile creep on the Singer’s face once more. ”Oh? Well… I am glad to hear you are talented in bed. Though.. I do hope.. You not have disease.” The singer said with a wink. She was a virgin herself, so the topic made her feel slightly uncomfortable. Though the alcohol eased that uncomforting feeling, and made her speak to the man calmly.

Aradia came back to the safe ground, and wobbled a little on her drunken legs and laughed, ”I bet this what it feel like on ship.” Aradia slurred, hiccupping again. She looked at the man through squinted eyes, ”Stay still, you move too much.” The singer said, placing a hand on the man’s shoulders. She was not sure if he was swaying, or if she was, either way the hand on the shoulder helped a little. ”I stay with Endal brother.” Aradia answered the man, pointing in what she hoped was the right direction, she was not sure though, everything was moving too much.

Aradia listened to the man bragging about his strength with a smirk on her face, and a little giggle after her was done. ”Can’t say I heard of that afore.” Aradia said with a shake of her head, ”I not sure if Red would like that. The little Singer stated, as she walked towards her home that her and her half-brother shared for now, at least until Aradia could find her own place to stay.

Once at the door, Aradia opened it a little and peeked in, it looked to be empty for now. Red was probably out for a drink himself, or still working. All that man did was work, it was quite annoying. She motioned the man to come in behind her and she sat at a chair near a table. ”Tricks… Magic? Aradia whispered under breath, as if someone was listening. No one besides Iosha knew of her magic, though it was not that great. Her brother had yet to find out about it, she tried to keep that side of her a secret. She was a nice person, unless provoked, then she was a fiery red head to be sure.

Aradia burped softly, cleared her throat and muttered ‘thank you’ under her breath. ”You know… Darren… If you… ever need… sunshine to chase… those storm clouds away… I always here.” Aradia said looking up into the Vantha’s eyes, giving him a warm and friendly smile. ”Everyone.. need friends” The singer whispered, grabbing the man’s hand and squeezing it softly before letting it go completely.

"Who wouldn't be overjoyed hearing that?" What was she going on about? "Not at all I don't get sick easy." I also hate ships. Traveling even I dislike. Raising an eyebrow at the contact Darren silently hoped Adaria was moving in the right direction he was pushing for all night. "My place is not that far away off if that it is an issue." Though possibly joking the Vantha kept firm in his way of speaking about the option to bump uglies. 'Ugh what am I doing? I've changed so much. No you just never had a chance to act wild like you do now. Nothing has changed.'

Smirking slightly at the invitaion to enter Darren remained standing trying to get himself situated with the area. "I did not hear a no yet." The only exit is the door behind me. If something amiss should happen I can use that for a distraction and-"I thought you redheads abhor the stuff? Ever since I came to this place it was you better tone down your djed use. Or we'll find you if your using magic. Day in and day out it's all this constant bickering about how magic does amiss."

"...Excuse you." FINALLY giving up on the conquest Darren found himself at a lost with Adaria's words. If I need her to chase myself away you will be there. Wonderful. Wincing slightly at the label Darren rolled his eyes before looking back at the door. "Friends? How anticlimactic." Withdrawing his hand from Adaria's grasp Darren merely took a seat across from her before looking at her with a deadpan stare. "I don't need friends where I'm going. They will only get in my way. They keep just getting in my way." Letting another silence fall over the pair Darren took this as his cue to get going. "I will see you when I see you then."
