Day 59 of Spring, 513 AV It was dim, late, the sun having passed to the edge and beyond, leaving the land about Sha laced in shadow. He stared off, expression blank, mask, blades, and cloak lay nearby in a pile. He didn't need them here, too peaceful now, the quiet of night being as present as ever. This time brought something out of Sha, something very few ever saw due to him never meeting people at such a late time. Sadness. Sadness derived from memories of long ago, of that woman, and that man. The man that had taken it all from him, and the woman that had been his all. A single tear shed each night in remembrance. The heat fading with the tear as he stretched out his arms, he was here for practice, practice at a time few were about, a time where he could train in peace. He calmed down now, his arms placed in a praying manner as he sat down and crossed his legs, he needed to think. He needed to think about what he was doing with his existence, with his time in the physical world. He was training of course, but he was unemployed, and his monetary supply wouldn't last him very long. He stood there, mind wandering as he sat crossed-legged with eyes closed and hands placed as if in prayer. His second set laying on either one of his knees, he only needed to keep one in position. The quiet giving way to a serene calmness, an enjoyable wall of nothing but the sounds of the night. |
