Fubuki Kouri "How did you die? You must have since your a ghost...but at such a young age, its so sad." !!!? The Kelvic girl's remark shot through Kouri's undead heart as she heard that D-d-died?!! At this point, Kouri still didn't believe that the tiger had killed her along with her family, she believed that her current state was because of the tiger, but the possibility of her dying was buried deep in her mind. "Aaah... I..." Kouri looked down to the ground, expression full of despair. So... it's true... that's why some people I met... called me 'ghost girl'... 'undead'... and such things... s-s-so... if I'm dead, how am I alive? "Ghost..." "Ghost..." "Ghost..." The Kelvic girl's word echoed in her mind. Ha... I see... I'm a ghost... but that doesn't matter, I'm here right now that means I'm alive, one way or another, and I still have to find mama and papa. Kouri reassured herself as to not have her psyche broken completely. "I'm Akilia. Akilia Dosert." Is she... introducing herself? I see, she must have been relieved when I decided to let the rabbit go, hmph, what a spoilsport she is... However, Kouri's mother had taught her that you must be courteous to someone who just introduced themselves and you must introduce yourself in return. Determined to follow her mother's footsteps, Kouri released the man's arm, lifted the hem of her dress, and bowed slightly "I'm Fubuki Kouri, Miss Akilia, a pleasure to meet you" Not that Kouri was actually happy, it was a matter of courtesy.

[Akilia Dosert]

Akilia Akilia raised an eyebrow at the ghost girl's display. The ghost tries to kill an animal for absolutely no reason then bows in...respect? No... probably more like courtesy. Akilia decided, then a irritating delima popped into her head. What was the girl's name again? She wondered searching her memory frantically trying to remember something, anything. Uh...Fubby Kouri? Hmm...yes that sounds about right. No, no I think it was Fuki Kouri. No that's not it either. I wonder what would happen if I asked her what her name was again. Nah, she'd probably flip out again...she's seems rather unpredictable. No wait! Her name is Fubuki Kouri! She grasped onto that name for dear life a determined not to forget it again. Which name was her last name and which was her last? The name said first is the first name right? She realized she hadn't said anything for a few moments and the silence was getting a bit on the awkward side. I guess its time to just wing it. "Its nice to meet you too...uh-" Oh no not again! How did I forget again just that fast? No wait now I remember. "-uh, Fubuki...Kouri." She began to wonder again which name was the first one, both of Kouri's names seemed like the last ones to her. If someone bows should you bow back? She wondered, she had never encountered any type of formality other than introducing herself with her name. She decided against bowing. Its stupid anyway, bowing. Looks like a signature of weakness or something.

[Daniel Connor]

"F-fine... l-let it live.. hmph!" Ah, there was the answer, the one Daniel had been expecting. Even this tortured soul could not have been that heartless. He would not have done it anyway, even if she had told him to kill it. A clever trick in his book. The ghost looked away with her eyes shut, still grasping his arm with wispy limbs, a strangely soft touch. He then turned to his bond ma--- no, not his bond, that was over. He saw a blank look of shock on her face and his eyes turned a pale yellow, the color of shame. The flashed back to a deep blue as her eyes had life in them again, questions written all over her face. She now looked appalled at him and the ghost at their willingness to kill. This was misunderstood, of course, as the young Kelvic was nieve. He looked up at the cracks of sky peeking out of the forest canopy, watched the birds fly, seemingly in slow motion, a beautiful sight. He was snapped back to reality by the Kelvic blurting out, "How did you die? You must have since you're a ghost...but at such a young age, its so sad." the girl asked the ghost, and Daniel noticed they were around the same age. "I'm Akilia. Akilia Dosert." No, please no, knowing names just made what he had done worse, but on the bright side, he could refer to her by her proper name, and not just the Kelvic, as that can be considered racist in some areas. “Akilia, it is a bit rude to ask how people have died. It is like asking a woman her age, it is there business, but if they decide to share of their own accord, you may know. Though,” he said, giving a charming grin, “I am a might curious myself! So how ‘bout it ghosty? What is your story? Oh, my name is Daniel by the way. Daniel Connor.”

Fubuki Kouri "Its nice to meet you too...uh-" Kouri tilted her head at Akilia's pause Hmmm? Is my name so hard to pronounce? the ghost girl pondered to herself. "-uh, Fubuki...Kouri." Aaaah, there it is, her name was not so hard to pronounce after all. Maybe Akilia was just not used to my kind of name, hehehe~ Kouri thought to herself as she giggled in her mind. This girl, Akilia, she's one of those people called... Kelvics. The Kelvic race fascinated Kouri in some way, the way they appear mostly, sometimes they're animals, sometimes they're humanoid. Kouri had met some Kelvics during her journeys with her family, bird, wolf, dog, bear, and... Cats... those god-forsaken cats... Kouri's hair started to rise up as if being blown by an ethereal breeze and her pupils turned into snake-like slits. Oh how she hated the felines with a passion, it was one of those monsters that slaughtered her family. Kouri's building anger was suddenly cut off when the Vantha next to her spoke. “I am a might curious myself! So how ‘bout it ghosty? What is your story? Oh, my name is Daniel by the way. Daniel Connor.” My story? What does he mean? Oh, I see, some people I met along the way who didn't immediately feared or chased me away sometimes asked question about how I... died... I'm not dead yet... am I? Kouri quickly shook her head at that thought, she wasn't dead, she's just... different now, she did not know why, but from what she knew, after the tiger's attack something changed within her. I'm just... I'm not... no, I'm not dead... Kouri looked down to the ground and fidgeted with one of the ribbons tying her hair. But I think I'll humor them... I... just have to strong... I... I can do this, my parents are still alive... I know it. "W-well..." Kouri floated away from the man, giving him some space, then she turned around, backing both Akilia and... What was his name again?... Ah, Sir Daniel Connor "Huff.. alright... then, Sir Daniel, Miss Akilia" Kouri turned back to them, facing both Akilia and Daniel again and began her story "Uhm... I'm the only daughter of the Fubuki family... my father and mother are both artists..." Kouri's expression showed extreme sadness when she mentioned her parents, but she continued her story nonetheless "Papa is a pianist, while mama is a singer... They said that I inherited mama's singing talent... We traveled a lot, papa said it's a very good way to search for inspirations... t-then one day..." The memories of the tiger's attack came back to her mind and she shed a single blood tear "W-w-when we're at the.. F-falyndar Jungle... a... a monster... tiger... attacked us... t-then I don't really remember what happened... b-b-but, when I woke up... papa and mama... were gone... I...I'm searching for them now... I know they're still out there somewhere.. probably captured by the monster..." Kouri then sat down on the ground, hugging her knees. "....A-and then... I got here..." She decided to cut her story short and ended it.

Akilia “Akilia, it is a bit rude to ask how people have died. It is like asking a woman her age, it is there business, but if they decide to share of their own accord, you may know." Akilia nodded at Daniel's gentle scolding slowly like she was taking it to heart. She sort of was. I didn't know there were so many rules to conversation. Rules...why are there rules to everything? Well, I guess its better to just follow it, might be better for me in the long run. She tugged on a few strands of her dark hair absentmindedly giving Daniel apologetic eyes. Though,” he said, giving a charming grin, “I am a might curious myself! So how ‘bout it ghosty? What is your story? Oh, my name is Daniel by the way. Daniel Connor.” What am I supposed to do when someone introduces themselves again? Mother told me...oh I got it. "Nice to meet you Daniel." Her voice had a tad bit of bitterness in it not quite over their light bond being cut off. She listened intently with a saddened expression when Kouri began to speak of her past life. "I'm sorry I asked...that's horrible." Akilia said softly eyes cast downward. And I thought my past was horrible...If I saw my mommy ripped to...right in front of me I would... She couldn't finish the thought, and shuddered.

Akilia looked up at Daniel with apologetic eyes. Fubu spoke her peace, and he was struck, touched by such an awful thing to happen to someone so innocent. A similar thing had happened to his parents, but he had not been killed, he had to live on the streets, doing anything he could to get his bread for the day. He was taken in by a gang and had spent most of his life with them. He shook his head to purge his thoughts. “Nice to meet you Daniel,” the young Kelvic greeted, looking like she had just recalled the words of common introduction. “If you do not mind me asking, what is your animal form? Personally, you remind me of Sylk, are you, perchance, a wolf Kelvic?” His eyes turned purple as he spoke his bonds name, a true bond, not like the one that had been formed between him and Akil. Daniel then looked to the ghost, his eyes turning grey and said, “I am sorry about your terrible past. Mine isn’t that good either, but at least I have lived. You have my sympathy. But, if you are a ghost, then you have a purpose to fulfill on this earth yet. Tell me, do you know what that might be?”

OOCSorry this took so long! I have had a lot of work to do as of late, they needed me over the weekend.

Akilia “If you do not mind me asking, what is your animal form? Personally, you remind me of Sylk, are you, perchance, a wolf Kelvic?” "Yes I'm a wolf Kelvic. How'd you guess? And who's Sylk?" Akilia asked Daniel curiously. At the mention of a terrible past Akilia overheard Daniel say when he was talking about, her eyes watered a tad. Does losing my mother count as an awful past? I miss her so very much... She looked straight ahead focusing on a tree past Kouri and Daniel and bit her lip hard with her sharp canine tooth that always stuck out of her mouth. The coppery metallic taste of blood reached her tongue as her lip bled a little. Pull yourself together. She scolded herself angrily. You never cry ever. You are strong, you will act civil. You will not be a crybaby, mother did not save you to be weak. I am strong and will act like it. Her nose was running a bit but her eyes had stopped watering. The threat of tears flowing was gone but her throat hurt like something was lodged in there she couldn't swallow. Akilia feared that if she was to speak her voice would be a blubbering mess of rambling words and her face was probably flushed red. Mother mentioned something like this...uh, hormones? Or something, is it a disease? Has it finally come for me? Am I going to die?! Despite knowing that her voice would be thick with girly emotion she just had to ask, turning to Daniel, "What are hormones? Mother mentioned it. That I was going to grow up one day or something and they would come for me. Is it a disease? Am I going to die? Is it something that runs in my family?" She asked voice shaky but clear enough to make out the words. "What's wrong with you? Your a blubbering mess." She muttered softly to herself.

Fubuki Kouri OOCOhoho! It's no trouble, Daniel. We're here to have fun. “I am sorry about your terrible past. Mine isn’t that good either, but at least I have lived. You have my sympathy. But, if you are a ghost, then you have a purpose to fulfill on this earth yet. Tell me, do you know what that might be?” "Huh? What do you mean?" Kouri didn't understand what the Vantha man meant, for at she was right then, she didn't even realize that she had died and was a wandering spirit. Then she looked over at Akilia, the wolf girl looked like she was about to cry, but she steeled herself. !? Kouri eyes widened in shock as she saw the a drop of blood fell from Akilia's lips W-w-what happened? But deciding it would not be polite to ask, Kouri just kept silent as Akilia started to talk to the Vantha man. I... perhaps... I should leave... Not wanting to overstay her welcome, Kouri slowly bowed to both Daniel and Akilia "Sir Daniel... Akilia... I uhm... I think it's time for me to... uuh.. go... uhm.. I hope we can meet again someday in the future... and I uuh... I'm sorry for the rabbit... well uuh... farewell" Kouri said as she blinked, vanishing from the area, heading for Syliras City. OOC#2Hmmm, as Kouri and Akilia already have a thread together at a later date (27th of Spring) titled 'The Pup and I' perhaps it's time for my PC to retire from this thread.

Alik replied, “Yes, I’m a wolf Kelvic. How’d you guess? And who’s Sylk?” Daniel was bombarded with questions and he looked up at the sky, remembering his bond. “Sylk, or Sylkra is my bond-mate, she is a wolf Kelvic, like you. We have a bond that is very strong.” He stopped and his eyes went back to the young Kelvic. Her face was flushed and she looked to be on the verge of tears. She bit her lip, casting red around her mouth. Her watering eyes looked past him and the ghost, she looked to be lost in thoughts of the past, never a good place to spend much time in. Her face contorted in anger at herself and then she recovered. Her nose ran, but her eyes had no tears in them. She swallowed a few times and Daniel gave her some time to collect her thoughts. She blushed suddenly, and looked up at him, looking as if she wanted to say something, but was not quite sure if she wanted to. When she did, her voice was heavily laden with emotion, “What are hormones? Mother mentioned it. That I was going to grow up one day or something and they would come for me. Is it a disease? Am I going to die? Is it something that runs in my family?" It was Daniel’s turn to blush. He searched his mind for a good answer, but came up with almost nothing. Then he remembered his Mentor teaching him such things about women. “Er, well, I am really not the person that should be teaching you this, but as you do not have a mother around, I will have to do. Well, hormones are what make a woman a woman. They tell her to protect their children and find a mate. They are not a disease, they are in all of us, even me, but I have a different kind than you. I can assure you that you are not going to die because of them, quite the opposite, they make us thrive...” he trailed off as he got flustered. That was about all he could remember, but it would do. "Sir Daniel... Akilia... I uhm... I think it's time for me to... uuh.. go... uhm.. I hope we can meet again someday in the future... and I uuh... I'm sorry for the rabbit... well uuh... farewell" His attention was ripped off of Akil by Fubu, who was apparently wishing them goodbye, and apologizing for the rabbit. “Farewell, Fubu, and do not worry about the rabbit, it will be fine. Have a safe journey, wherever life may take you.” And with a nod, she vanished.

I wonder what it might be like to have a bondmate, a bondmate with a strong bond... Mother told me when I'm older, but how much older? I guess I'll figure it out. “Er, well, I am really not the person that should be teaching you this, but as you do not have a mother around, I will have to do. And what does he mean by hormones make a woman a woman? Are they're different types of hormones? Maybe I'll look into it later, buy a book at one of the shops in Syliras. "Okay." She replied simply, she wasn't going to be one of those annoying kids she'd seen in the streets of the city bugging their parents with "why? Why's this and why's that?" Nah she just thought it better to drop it. "Sir Daniel... Akilia... I uhm... I think it's time for me to... uh.. go... um.. I hope we can meet again someday in the future... and I uh... I'm sorry for the rabbit... well uh... farewell" "Bye Kouri. It was...nice to meet you and uh...stuff." You idiot...and stuff? really? "See you around." She finished lamely as the ghost disappeared. Turning to Daniel she gave a faint smile, her face was probably blotchy from the tears she'd come close to spilling. "I think it would be time for me to go as well. I've got hunting to do. It was nice to meet you too Daniel." She began to walk away but stopped before she totally disapeared into the trees and turned around. "Uh...Sir Daniel. Goodbye, may we meet again." Then she continued on her way. OOCI'll have my character take her leave of this thread too. Daniel after you make your last post I'll mark this thread as completed and summit it to Accolade's office for grading. Until next time.
