Shadow seemed more animalistic when she is pissed off. Her cat eyes were wicked and wild. In them held a multitude of anger, beauty, and unique style. They were a even lighter grey than they usual are. Even being in the pools of the Soothing Waters, Shadow didn't seem the bit relax.
Only a few moments earlier Shadow was approached by a very handsome man. He looks at Shadow body up and down, obviously satisfied. That's all it toke, to anger the inner beast of Shadow River's soul. Poor fella never had a chance.
"Do not look at me with your filthy eyes. You couldn't get my body even if you were the ruler of Mizahar! Not even if you were a god!! So get you foolish face and your petching, smaller than my pinky, member out of my FACE!!" Shadow clutched the side of the pool shaking. One would think it she was about to break it. She even splashed water in his face.
The man was about to say something but, Shadow River eyes seem to cut at the man's soul. So he just backed away. Shadow turned in the corner. Thinking about the cause of her anger. And the cause of the bruises on her neck and back. I hate my brother, dirty male. She thought, almost of crying of what has happen this morning.

After having finished his day of work at the shop and passed the cities walls Vanador strolled silently threw the dark of his cloths, his gloved hands resting in the pockets of his coat as he neared the soothing water pools. It was a silent day, which was good to him. the sound of the city all day drove his twisted mind into even more bloody fantasies then normal. When he herd a sound like a powerful roar of perhaps some sort of large cat he rose one of his gray brows in confusion, a cat like that, out here?... Or maybe it was all in his head; he thought to himself with a faint smile. As he walked onward a man passed him, a rather shameful looking man in fact. His face looked wet and his eyebrows where pushed together in what Gless could see to be a mix of disappointment, shame and bewilderment. Vanador grinned at the man threw the shadow his top hat cast over his face with a glimmer of his sharp teeth. The man seemed not to notes as he passed by. He sighed to himself as he approached the pools, he did not intend on bathing at the moment but the staem from the waters did help him think. And if it was silent he could maybe even read his families book. He was just getting to the good parts in it. |

Shadow River The 45th of Spring Noontime 513 AV |
The mighty feline stretched all her sore muscles. Her body wasn't just sore from her drunk brother but, a small fight she had with another Kelvic two days ago. Which recently got Shadow River thinking about her life. Why was I born as a Kelvic? Would I be happier to be a human? The youngster thought looking around in the pool full of humans. Did she really want to be one of them? Shadow River wasn't really sure. So far, she couldn't name on great and amazing thing in her life. No lovers, no real family, no good friends. Well Shadow had a few acquaintances.
Shadow notice one person that didn't look human. He had white hair and a creepy smile on his face. So of course Shadow thought it would be perfectly okay to ask him a random question. "Hey you!" Shadow called waving a hand at him. "Hey, over here!"

Vanador sighed lightly as he looked around, his eyes catching the steam. The worm air here reminded him of his childhood, which was not always a good thing but the specific memory triggered by this air was the rare pleasant one where he was not spending days reading or trying to out will his late father in a hypnotic ritual.
He blinked lightly, his pale purple eyes fading lightly. did someone call him? he was not sure until he herd the woman's voice once again. The human, or at least what looked human, was in one of the pools looking towards him. She was very dark, he thought, and she looked very strong. "Can i help you?" he asked her as he dipped the rim of his his hat in the pinched cloth of his index finger and thumbs glove. |

Shadow River was at first memorized by the stranger's eyes. They were a faded purple, which seem to capture the feline like easy prey. Shadow shook her head a few a times, trying to remember her question. " I was just wondering," She finally spoke, "if you are you happy with what you are. And what I mean by that, do you ever wish to be something your not? Please don't get offended by my words but, I was pondering what I feel is normal. Sorry if this seems strange."
Shadow pressed her body against the wall of the pull. Moving a little closer to the stranger but, keeping a fair distance. Her tone was very tense and serious. In her eyes, a person could see the unspeakable anger, sadness, and confusion. Seem lately to be the only things her eyes held. After speaking the feline touched one of her many bruises. Rubbing them lightly, as she could feel them hurt some more. Probably should see someone for help. But, Shadow just didn't have the friends or the money to do so.

Ignatius and Laeva were strolling through Syliras. Being new to the area, they wanted to explore the city. So far they’ve been to traveller’s row, where they will be staying at, the great bazaar and the stone garden just to name a few. Walking side-by-side on the stone path, Laeva look up past her wide-brim hat and points out a building named ‘soothing waters’. Ignatius looks at the building. He subtly smells his sell and looks back at Laeva and smiled. “I think we might visit that building, what do you say?” Ignatius said. Laeva simply nodded and they entered.
After Ignatius paid the entering fee, as well as soap and towel. The two prepared to enter the bath, Ignatius worn his undergarments with a towel wrapped around his waist, and Laeva wore her undergarments with a towel wrapped around her torso. Laeva was about to take off her eye patch, but Ignatius stopped her and told her to keep it on.
They entered the baths and noticed others are using it as well. Laeva hid behind Ignatius and began to act coy. He took a quick gaze around the area and noticed an odd looking person talking to a darked skinned woman. The man was pail and gave off an ominous atmosphere around him. |

Vanador simply looked at her for a moment, his pale eyes narrowing slightly but only for a moment. It came with his power, the ability to get in someones head... it was a major part needed when it came to bending to so naturally his empathy was strong. And this woman was clearly conflicted, even her body up close looked hurt. "How strange", he said slowly, his raspy voice sounding rather ghostly in his shaded aura. He paused for another moment as if he meant to think what he had just said out-loud.
"Happy?" he asked, crossing his arms, his twisted grin growing. "Oh indeed i am", he spoke as if he was talking to the entire room yet his voice never outreached the two of them. He leaned forward, his face close to hers, his pale skin like snow next to hers. "Never forget what you are, for surly the world will not. Make it your strength and other will never be able to turn it into your weakness", he spoke in almost a whisper, his sharp teeth defining his grin. After he had finished he pulled back his hair that had began to fall in perfect threading strands across his face like webs as he stood back upright crossing his long thin arms. |
