Ruza Stormryder Appearance Race: Human, Mixed (Drykas/Inarta) Gender: Female Age: 24 Birthday: 1st Day of Summer, 488 AV Birthplace: Wind Reach Appearance: Her long black hair would hang half way down her back, in the sun it would have a firey red halo effect, almost as if her hair were actually on fire. Her skin, lightly sun-kissed with a faint red glow gave her overall appearance a warm aura. Then someone gets closer and would become perplexed as they look into her eyes. Her left eye colored with a cool crisp aquamarine, while her right molten gold. This strange trait is sometimes hidden behind her hair or underneath the hood of her cloak. Many would say Ruza is an attractive woman, with her lean well kept body and her exotic features. Her eyes are usually what people become interested in first. One eye a calm aquamarine while the other molten gold, completly different colors along with slightly different features on each side. Each eye was slightly different than the other, her aquamarine eye was almond shaped while the other was slightly rounder than the other. Making it look as if one eye were squinty while the other wide open. Her lips, full yet one side is tugged into a forever smirk while the other side slightly pointed down into a forever frown. Not many have noticed the slight differences, most are focused on her two-toned eyes. I did the dumbest thing ever by writing on and off for a few hours in the web browser only to have it crash when I attempted to put Pandora on...] ~Childhood~ Ruza's story begins within the womb, Ruza's mother was pregnant with quadruplets. Half way into the pregnancy Ruza and her brother Syth absorbed their brother and sister into themselves and had completely become one with them by the time they had been born. But being the unwanted offspring of one of the many drudges in Wind Reach, they were both sent away to the nursery. Once they became old enough to cause trouble, Ruza and Syth would go out of their way fool people into buying useless objects they had found, so they could buy each other a small gift of sorts. Pretty close to their 7th year, both Syth and Ruza started to show some promising ability in archery. Although they couldn't stand the fact that they were tied with each other they constantly attempted to show the other one up in ridiculous feats. Only to find that they are at exactly the same skill level as the other every time. Once they realized they could leave their town they had decided to play the courage game. Which meant leaving late at night and trying to get the other to chicken out first. Little did they know, there just so happened to be a caravan full of slavers hiding out in cave the children decided to play in. They were taken, and had been soon sold off to different people. One who "loved" children, while the other hated them. It took Ruza and Syth a couple of years to learn how to escape with almost nothing in their possession, and took one more to find each other again. By 10 years they had reunited and headed to the closest town they could see. Alvadas had this welcoming air about it, the Festival of Illusion made the city itself look as if it were alive. The joyful music lured the twins into the city, where they lost themselves within the crowd and celebrated their freedom along with the people who were celebrating their holiday. Road to Adulthood “Innocence, Once Lost, Can Never Be Regained. Darkness, Once Gazed Upon, Can Never Be Lost.” -- John Milton The next day, reality hit them hard, with no food and little money they had to figure out a plan of action. After a few hours of deep thought, and watching as colorful people went about their business in a variegated setting. Ruza finally lit up and grinned broadly to her brother. "We can do what all these people do. Pretty flashy tricks usually make people shed their money." she said simply, hitting her fist into her palm with determination in her voice. Everything she had been through just recently, did not seem to bother her, the will to survive seemed to be stronger. Syth nodded in agreement, [color=#BF0000]"If only we had talent." he replied with slight frustration. Looking down at his ragged clothes, caked with mud in places, large rips in others. "First we must make ourselves flashy.." he said as he slowly made his way toward a over-stuffed wagon full of brightly colored clothes and other miscellaneous bobbles and widgets. The man who stood up front seemed to be distracted by a crowd of would-be customers. Asking him obscene amounts of questions, it was his chance. Ruza watched her brother disappear into the crowd, she was clueless in what his plans were but whatever he was doing, she would assume that he thought it necessary. He slyly slipped back out of the crowd as if he were just the breeze. He handed her some clothes that were a little too big for her. Looking up to his face, "Where..never mind, mustn't look a gift horse in the mouth or whatever. What is next?" she asked him as she stood up to stretch, just to be interrupted by Syth continuing forward. Three in my left ear, two in my right, and my tongue are where my piercings are, sometimes I go looking for a tattooist but whenever I look they have gone, or something along those lines. As well as Barmaid because a pretty face brings a pretty penny, and occasionally I will take on the adventurous courier job. It really depends on where I am and how long I need to stay there." 2. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be? "I would like to be a cloud, high above everyone else...for me to piss on. "Well, I guess to be a prostitute would be a rather uncomfortable occupation...unless it's not really and those poor people are forced to do it...but then they would be slaves. "My brother and I used to be exactly the same, charismatic, brave...nothing really phased us when we are together. We'd go on adventures, we would play tricks on people...we pretty much have done as many things as we can think of. What is your favorite memory from childhood? "My brother and I have many fond memories with each other growing up, It's hard to just pick one." 3. What is your worst memory from childhood? What is the best part of death? "To finally be at peace. Everyone needs to die someday, why not tomorrow? I've been thinking pretty hard about killing something for a while. If you could choose, how would you want to die? "Wouldn't that be nice? If we could all choose our own deaths, there would be none. The end is just the beginning of something bigger, the way I would want to die and how I am GOING to die are two different stories.
