Sanea Labyrinth Among the havoc the Valterrian caused the wild and erratic djed that spanned across the whole of Mizahar morphed and transformed many a flora and fauna. Much like the cousin of this dangerous location, the Bone Fields, Sanea Labyrinth is just as it is named, a labyrinth that lives. However, it is different in that it was created by a master magician named Alend Sanea to guard hidden treasures and secrets the master once held. It was a time before the Valterrian, when Alend once lived among the peoples of Alahea. He was a noted wizard, often feared for his rampant outbursts and threats that spewed from his mouth. But despite his great power, he was consumed by paranoia. His dabbling in the art of magecraft had deteriorated his perception of the world, and he found himself mistrusting others and seeing them as a threat to his inheritance and his treasured scrolls. And so the wizard set out into the harsh Wildlands, bent on creating a powerful and natural guardian that would be nigh impossible to overcome. He projected his very life into the very earth and flora that lived in the secluded area, carefully placed and built around the structure that was dug deep and built for his needs. Here now was a labyrinth that grew for his very purpose, catching invaders...and often devouring them. After the Valterrian the djed coursing through the very heart of the labyrinth was enhanced and fused with the very brush, flowers and trees that have contorted and positioned themselves in such a way that a clear path is visible but it winds it’s way further into the heart of it. The entrance to the labyrinth is marked by a stone archway, where inviting whispers reach the ears of unwary travelers and draws them in. In truth, these are the voices of the plants that inhabit the region, sweet pungent fragrances of flowers and the foretelling of treasures untold of lie in this labyrinth. Alend Sanea may be gone, but this area is a testament to his power. Tread carefully, or risk death. oocThis location requires a party of 3 or more.
