The wind blew, a soft whisper, accompanying the thoughts of young K. He was facing his opponent, his roommate, his...Rival. This guy reminded him of himself so much, yet for some reason, he hated him. It wasn't a pure hatred of wanting him dead, but a natural desire to hate his guts, but would that mean... He hated himself? He hated the splitting image of him, the one standing before him with an axe, a nice weapon choice if he may add. Noticing Bolivar slowly creepy forward, he noticed that this wasn't something he should be thinking, sliding his feet into position he held his ground. Gripping the light quarter staff tightly he could tell it was different, but in a way not to bad...It felt like a less lethal scythe almost. Immediately snapping him out of his train of thought, the sight of Bolivar charging at him, he had no choice but to work with the quarter staff.

"Kise... Analysis." K whispered out loud. "Right." After a mere few milliseconds Kise instantly caught on and replied, quickly saying yet calmly. "Attack speed around forty nine, most likely a sharp hack attack towards your left upper slashing to right, immediately dodge right and guide left ending with a returned upward thrust." "Gotcha!" K shouted out loud as Bolivar came into contact, his speed was pretty impressive but so was K's especially because he had shed his equipment. Bolivar came down with a heavy swift cleave, K guided him along with his staff so he would attack near the left, then decided to react just as Kise said. He barely managed to block the attack, the blade slamming onto the wooden staff, the part barely in front of his left hand. If the blade had been metal...He would be out of a hand. This thought caused him to grunt a bit. Quickly grabbing the staff tightly and swinging it like a baseball bat, he swung counter clockwise, finally aiming to land contact at his left arm. Knowing the staff would bounce off, he was prepare to possibly swing it back at him once more, but at least at the speed he was going he was quite sure he would make contact. "Sorry I broke the plan Kise...Keep it coming." K grunted as he swung. "It's ok...But next time pay attention. This is not as effective as the plan and probably won't result in much damage." Kise replied softly. "Well...We are just gonna have to see right?" K said finally, hoping that his swing landed on Bolivar's right arm.

My Pride, Your Practise! [Bolivar]

Postby Bolivar on April 18th, 2013, 12:50 am

Looks like we have ourselves a contender! His attack blocking Bolivar's, the squire faced forward hearing Kisetukai's feet move before centering his eyes on his opponent's chest. The slight jarring feeling in hand after striking Bolivar paid no heed to what his opponent said. His weapon already high Bolivar directed his weapon to the side where his opponent was with his wrists while simultaneously pulling his arms back to provide a close guard. Bolivar's countermeasure proved adequate gripping his weapon tighter feeling the staff slam into the length of his guard. Once again Bolivar felt the encouraging jarring feeling for a tic. Nothing quite like blocking an opponent's counter.

His weapon forced back Bolivar steadied his arm before continuing the direction that his great axe took. Bolivar's arms up, shoulders pointing out Bolivar looked to be in position for a full on overhead slam. Instead the mixed blood's mind told him to do otherwise as his went behind him shoulder to shoulder before Bolivar leaned forward for a horizontal swipe at Kisetukai. His axehead first going in a wide circle behind him as Bolivar started directing the weapon forward he tightened the swing as the movement transitioned into his intended swipe.

Leaning forward and tilting his head slightly Bolivar committed himself both physically and mentally to what happened next. Hopefully if another strike was aimed at him the squire would land a decisive blow in return. The twisting of his waist and throwing his weight behind the strike Bolivar planned on offering a trade. Offer my flesh so I may cut your bones.

Man was this guy strong! K's attack was not only blocked but countered. How did he counter a counter?! As the quarterstaff was shrugged off, K could feel it ring and wobble, slowing him down by stunning him. Feeling the feeling fly through his body, he felt if anything... Sluggish. As he finally gained sense he knew he wouldn't be able to attack, and after being warned by Kise he also knew that he wouldn't be able to attack back. If anything block the attack... Hopefully he could dodge the attack.

Quickly jumping away from Bolivars slash he felt unscathed, quickly shouting out. "Hah... Your little axe has no speed nor power. Did you truly think such a weapon could harm -...." He stopped as he felt a sharp sting in his left bicep... His blocking arm. As a boxer this was his favorite part to block with, naturally with dodging such a close ranged attack he would try to block a bit, thus answering how he got such a pain. "Petch.... " He mumbled hoping Bolivar wouldn't notice. "Kise... Analysis!" He grunted. "Semi-Minor, Resort to -" Kise stopped as he noticed K's rage, as he tossed the quarterstaff and put up his fist. "I see... Adjusting to reality with new plan..." Kise grew silent for a while. "Resort to close ranged combat, keep him busy, bob and weave to avoid the axe, speed is not greater than fifty... I suggest... Sylir's peace?" Kise said softly. "Gotcha!" K said as he lowered his shoulders and took off his shirt, beginning to slightly sway from side to side, bouncing his body a bit.

"Bolivar... The fight starts now!" He said as he zoomed up to his opponent, without giving him time to think or react. Throwing a right hook to rear him to the left, he then followed up with two left jabs aim for his body, a right uppercut was instantly thrown incase somehow he dodged right, ending with a left straight to knock him back. Regardless of pain, this last blow would land, which then K would zoom up performing the bob and weave technique he had learned. Starting it from his favorite side, with two right jabs, then a left straight, he swing his weight over to his left with a swift motion, bringing in a left hook as his body had returned the back to his right, swinging low down to the earth he popped back up with a right uppercut.

This lifting his body up airborne into the sky, he would then sling himself down with a left arched hammer like fist, then swinging around with a right back fist, to create space. Finally he would instantaneously zoom in and break his bob and weave combo with a final left straight that if even blocked, would definitely push him back. As he jumped back quickly, he stared down Bolivar, finally going out of his berserker state. Of course him only being competent in boxing, he would throw those punches not sloppily, but not with much finesse. As he grew tired without showing it, still swaying and bouncing heavily as he stared down Bolivar, keeping on his fighting face.

The sweat that had form, and beaded, had began to trickle down his face as he muttered out. "Kise... Analysis!" "Right... Speed seventy eight, power eighty seven, injury unknown, estimated injury seventy five... Results may vary, suggest possibly an extra attack..." Kise spouted out quickly. "But why... Why did he feel like that. That wasn't normal body... Like he has armor on his arm or something.." K said confused like. "Well before he has said you 'humans', my guess is if so he isn't human, or at least not entirely, most likely an isur or combination. No other races are present in him, although we may find out in the future. His cqc isn't as deadly as the rumored hammers of course..." Kise added softly. "Hammers?" K said confused like. "They are these guys in sultrous... You wouldn't know about them." Kise quickly said almost hipster like. "Just stay sharp, avoid that arm..." "Right..." K replied as he still bounced in his boxing stance, now shirtless and warmed up, he was actually doing good. As he finally caught his breath, he returned back to top health. Here he stood awaiting to charge at Bolivar once more, because after all...Like the book said.

A boxer who has mastered the bob and weave can't be touched.... Well... All he had to do was master it now...

oocbtw tell me if I start god nodding and I'll cool it lol I'm just passionate about fighting! Good luck :)

My Pride, Your Practise! [Bolivar]

Postby Bolivar on April 19th, 2013, 2:56 am

Following his opponent's movement Bolivar took two steps forward before trying to aim another aimed chop at Kisetukai. Stopping short Bolivar saw Kise's mouth moving once more before the mixed blood delaying his attack. A look of irritation followed by a wistful turn Bolivar once again paid no heed to whatever the opposition had to say. “What the petch?”

Assuming that it was important enough to stop their fight halfway through Bolivar stopped his attack guessing what Kisetukai had in mind.. Perhaps Kisetukai was planning on showing Bolivar his magical arts? The mixed blood would have understood if it was that. For some using their magic was considered a surrender to their inner selves. Bolivar only exhibited patience when seeing one go outside their comfort zone. One can imagine how Bolivar's face looked as he incredulously furrowed his eyebrows at Kisetukai before changing it to a seething glare.

Hopping around side to side while taking off his shirt. The action as if mocking the point of a spar set Bolivar off slightly. The mixed blood took this kind of exhibition seriously. What of Kise? Does everyone in Syliras have some soft of imprudent ritual while they crossed swords? Fine. If he wasn't going to use his magic that didn't stop Bolivar from using his own. Gritting his teeth and giving a vindictive stare Bolivar tried to keep his temper under control. His res starting to emit from within him Bolivar made use of the slight hinderance.

Watching his opponent move forward Bolivar took this as the signal to go. Words fell on deaf ears as it looked like once again Kise was offering a trade. Bolivar was happy to oblige. To be able to strike first was a gift and to strike hard was honoring that gift. Aiming low near Kise's waist Bolivar swung with the same commitment as before mentally readying himself for what came next. If it Kise was still planning to carry out his assault the arch his axe took would be around the other's thigh. In any case after the swing Bolivar clenched as the other's hook drove home. Bolivar's face twitched in pain as his left ribs told him that they were hurting and his breathe wanting.

Philosophically taking the slight thrusts at his chest Bolivar brought his weapon back before leaning away from the boxer's uppercut. Finding an attack that he could answer correctly Bolivar brought up his great axe short as he swung at the offending straight aimed at him. Meant as a deterrent Bolivar guided his weapon to intercept Kisetukai's attack before the pair stepped back. However that looked like it wasn't enough to discourage Kisetukai from entering his range once more..

Impetuous. Taking a moment for a breathe Bolivar swung low once more aiming at the same thigh before taking a jab to the chin. Even though it was a jab it messed with his chin pretty badly. With a disgruntled look and another one jab smacking his shoulder Bolivar noticed another straight coming from his right side. Bolivar weapon barely in position it would be too late for the same countermeasure as before. Too risky of a block. Moving back Bolivar felt his jaw and cheek taking the hit barely having to move to avoid the uppercut that came after.

Still? Kisetukai's uppercut went wide. It was wide the moment that the straight hit Bolivar but for some reason it was incredibly wide. His opponent going airborne was unexpected but exactly what Bolivar needed. His weapon already ready Bolivar brought up his weapon over his shoulder for a hard chop down on Kisetukai. Starting the motion as Kisetukai already started to descend Bolivar felt the boxer's hand bearing down on him before returning the sentiment himself.

Brought down a peg Bolivar was almost supporting himself with his axe before Kise turned to throw out his backhand. Following the motion Bolivar fell forward staggering slightly before feeling a hot streak of heat from where he just was. The slight stumble tested Bolivar's balance as he awkwardly tried to center himself. Thankfully Kisetukai's backhand only seemed to glanced upon him as Bolivar found his footing turning back at his opponent. Another straight from the right. Taking off his left hand from his great axe Bolivar gripped closer to the base of the axehead with his right before swinging back at Kisetukai.

Once again striking the offending arm to ward off the left straight Bolivar faced off against Kisetukai. Finding himself trying to breathing slower and slower Bolivar felt as it he were on fire from the recent exertion. Bolivar was already hot and bothered staying up longer then he wanted but now his whole body felt like it was burning alive. Sweat was starting to slowly trickle from what felt like every pore in his body as Bolivar let out a haughty breathe.

Gasping for another breathe Bolivar started breathing through his nose once more as a slight pause warranted the mixed blood's attention. Other then dealing with fresh new bruises to brood over what else was there to consider? Training tells me to carry on with this mud fighting. But my gut feeling tells me otherwise. Tired and I know it. Haughty coming into this with slight feelings of fatigue right after that. Now the question remains. What have I accomplished?

...I've been sweating a lot.
Bolivar's eyes scanning the floor around them the mixed blood humored the idea that not only sweat but his res also littered the area around him. After all he was emitting res from his body before Kisetukai resumed their bout. Willing up his djed slightly Bolivar felt his left hand emit his djed into an almost translucent gaseous form. Spell force was rising and well underway. The question now was to use the usual wind or the new form of res Bolivar had been looking into. Field experience was all important right?

A stiff inhale followed by spitting out to satisfy the swelling feeling in his mouth Bolivar kept a steady gaze on Kisetukai looking at the other squire's belt holding his recent glyph roughly. Actually that could work and that could work. "Shouldn't handle my gifts so frivolously." Alluring to the glyph on Kise's person's Bolivar waited a tic before he gestured with his left hand at Kisetukai. Since Kisetukai liked talking so much Bolivar once again used his words to try and catch the squire napping. Once with the sudden retreat and once more with the setup for a quick spell.

Jetting Zepher. Seeing a line of dense djed go forward Bolivar aimed for a quick wake up call at Kisetukai's head. The slight jet of wind's force could be comparable to a simple jab from Bolivar mixed in with a few less benign miniscule wind blast put in. Anything to keep Kisetukai on his toes. Bolivar had a plan. Raising his left hand forward Bolivar held his great axe with his right as he directed his res with his left. Looking at Kisetukai and the area around them Bolivar silently set up his final ploy.

My Pride, Your Practise! [Bolivar]

Here K stood, preparing for another attack, after throwing such a flurry at Bolivar he definitely felt confident. "K-...Kise.. Analysis." He mumbled. "You seem... Fine." Kise said softly. "Perfect... I just had to be sure that I- ... AGH!" He yelled out as he felt a series of stings feel his body, beig a boxer wouldn't feel an attack until he was done attacking. This was the will of the boxer, it took practice but it was easy to grasp. He continued to sway and bounce, trying to fight through the pain as Kise spoke, he noticed Bolivar readying himself for another attack. "Current analysis... Minor injury, thigh bruise, rib bruise, bicep scratch, hip bruise, lower left cheek ... Ice..." Kise said softly as he pointed out the facts, leaving K to think for a bit. "That's nothing!" K said aloud as he continued to bounce and sway, preparing for an end to prevail on this fight, even though it had just started. "Kise... Recommended retaliation?" K grunted through his pain, staring down Bolivar trying to find out what he was up to. He was a really good strategists by the looks of it, always looking around and adjusting his body, K new that he was somehow worming in those attacks... Was he not fast enough? Or was this one of Bolivar's specialties? After all a mage would be smart of course, so a strategist wouldn't be out of the question. K's self thinking was destroyed as Kise spoke out to him.

"Quickest retaliation methods confirmed with an eighty seven percent chance to finish the fight. Maximum damage would be two hundred and fifty, critical chance thirty percent bonus, adding a quick extra fifty, triple the normal damage." Kise said softly to him in a calm yet informative voice. "Move?" K said softly. "Fist of illusion..." Kise said softly. "Crap... This is gonna hurt me more than him...Ok Kise I'm going in!" K said as he lunged at Bolivar, moving his bob and weave he began to perform the technique filled with feints. "Fist!" K grunted as he began the attack, swinging in with his left shoulder to block any attacks that Bolivar might throw, although he was pretty sure he would be feeling all of these later. Swinging at his face with a right hook, he was unsure if it made contact because his fist began to move so fast, but even if it didn't... The attack would keep going. Coming in at an angle, attempting to perform an expert boxing move, he threw a diagonal left uppercut slashing northeast. "Of!" K grunted through the wind, the sound of his fist beginning to whizz in the air to him. Giving the illusion of a weak jab he slowed his left arm, then slammed in with a right hook flying at it's destination. Trying to force Bolivar backwards and to lose his footing he would keep swaying his body, for every two steps he took K slid closer with one sway. Before the last punch even finished, another punch was crossing it with it's own intent and emotion. Throwing a right straight, he shifted his body weight to his left, allowing him to start the next part.

Throwing five lightning fast left jabs were like clockwork for him, then shadowing the jabs he sprung into the air with a right uppercut so strong it force his body to spin counter clockwise. The strength and power behind such a punch would've sent him stumbling, so instead he decided to use the momentum of that deadly uppercut to come back to earth with a fluid like right straight. Then leaning in he threw a left uppercut, then a right power uppercut, finally a left quick uppercut. Hopefully these had knocked away Bolivar's gaurd and cut him... After all they were uppercuts. Moving on to the next faze of moves he began to sway heavier, yet faster, gravity having no affect on him except adding speed. His fist had turned into weights, which he never understood when he did this combo, but he never questioned it. All he new was that his mother taught him to concentrate and imagine putting his life energy into his fist, yet he didn't know what this power was called, nor did he cared. Crashing his fist into Bolivar's shoulder area, or at least that's where he aimed, his fist began to slam. His body swung left, following with a deadly right hook, but before that hook landed his body had already swung back right, following with a left hook. And this continued for a bit...

Finally after being able to take now more of it, his body began to feel like it was drained... If he was punching faster and stronger using life energy, than he had used to much, feeling like he desperately needed to eat... He collapsed... Falling onto his back, he had his eyes closed for a bit... This was his only form of bliss... Relief from this horrible fight he had... He had forgot why he was fighting, he didn't even care if he had won, or loss... He was just happy it was over. After taking Bolivars attacks, physical and magical... He definitely didn't want to fight anymore, not now at least. His heart throbbing badly, he opened his eyes, looking straight up at the sky. "Ser Bolivar..." He sighed as he thought about going to the dorms and getting some food from one of those nice old women who work there. "Bolivar I declare this fight... Finished. I declare a truce... For now... We go eat and sleep... Please!" He rolled over to his stomach and barely got up, walking over to his equipment. Slinding on his shirt and other accessories he began stretch. "You know... Your stronger than I thought.. Especially with those... Glyph things. Gotta teach me about magic on day, because I only know.-" He was interrupted as his hunger had dawned on him once more. "Ok... Dude we gotta get home." He said softly as he prepared to leave. "That petching axe hurt..."

My Pride, Your Practise! [Bolivar]

Postby Bolivar on May 1st, 2013, 9:41 am

oocNot really enthused you did not even bother to write back to my attempt at interaction with you. Anyways.

Willing his djed to his beck and call Bolivar bit into his lip to distract himself from the slight swelling forming on his jaw. The slight bulge was annoying enough when it was littered throughout his body but on his face? What is this guy thinking? From the wall this fight was going so far Kisetukai did not seem to factor in his own well being when they fought.

Was it through the virtue of courage or was it just plain folly that guided the other squire's actions? Bolivar's breathing came in a rhythm now as the mage squire started directing wisps of his res at Kisetukai's form. Transmuting his res as they gained enough speed Bolivar sent piercing shots at the charging boxer's body.

Shifting from side to side Kisetukai made it slightly difficult to get a good bead on him. Quickly changing tactics Bolivar created moderates amounts of djed to control as he started sending them in wide cones at Kisetukai. Once. Twice. Bolivar managed to get two shots off before once again engaging the boxer once more.

Leaning back and moving to the side Bolivar avoided the Kisetukai's first attack by a wide margin. The squire took his time, taking a measure stepped back in response. Another attack, this time a hook bearing at him. Bolivar brought up his left arm up to block still trying to emanate his djed through his hands. Kisetukai's attack dug in slightly but not as much as the mage squire thought it would.

This again? The lack of noticeable force meant that Kisetukai intended to repeat his earlier routine of attacking haphazardly. Scoffing as if insulted Bolivar drew back from the other squire's game. It was bordering on irresponsible to stay near Kisetukai if he had that mindset. Irresponsible for the pair of them. Taking a few quick breathes Bolivar knew all he had to do was focus on avoiding the boxer and the short reach of his attacks. Hopping back once more Bolivar backtracked two hops away before once again letting Kisetukai have a taste of his reinmancy.

This time an air blast was directed at Kisetukai before the processions started again. Bolivar had no problems with using such force on another squire. The forceful bitting feeling of attacks worked to try and make Kisetukai some restraint as Bolivar sent penetrating air in quick succession at the boxer.

Finally stopping the swaying motion Bolivar faced Kisetukai's actual attack head on. Good. That was getting too convoluted to make any sense. His right hand still occupied with holding his great axe Bolivar was forced to try and otherwise avoid what he can of Kisetukai's jabs before finding himself thrown off rhythm.

The boxer's uppercut thrown in suddenly came as a surprise but the way Kisetukai threw it was odd to say the least. Quite a bit shorter then the boxer's usual combatants Bolivar felt the initial power behind the uppercut but thankfully didn't take much of the follow through that came after. Kisetukai still trying to string whatever attack that came to mind Bolivar grunted in aggravation as his left hand went to stabalize his axe once more.

Not even bothering to avoid the follow up from the uppercut as Bolivar raised his great axe above him before bringing it down in a murderous arc half a tic later. The awkwardly positioned attacked bounced off Bolivar ineffectually on Bolivar's shoulder. Check! If Kisetukai was not going to be deterred from attacking then Bolivar would simply give him something that the boxer could not ignore. Slamming down hard Bolivar did not bother avoiding any attacks from Kise if he choose not to get out of the way.

Breathing heavily with his hands heavy from swinging that wooden toy around Bolviar looked up at the fatigued Kisetukai before settling his weapon back into the ready position. What was he doing? Flinching slightly Bolivar drew back into as the boxer still pursued the attack. Holding his weapon close Bolivar only felt the first two swings from Kisetukai have any real authority before noticing that this was the time to force his opponent down.

Bringing his axe up Bolivar propped up the wooden length of wood before slamming throwing his fist back at Kisetukai. Then as if on cue the squire fell back on the floor as if the punch proved to much. What was he doing? "Ser Bolivar" Kisetukai tried to draw this to a close. Already? The petcher was the one who called him out to fight and was the one that was unprepared for a fight? Absolutely ludicrous.

"Get your petching arse up vagik. Have you no pride? This is practice not playtime and your overdue a beating." The mixed blood still had enough gas to continue with proceedings. After all Bolivar was not the one who was stringing attack after attack together. "Is that how you act Kisetukai? Just go in and cause as much trouble as you can and leave with your head between your legs? Shiress was right. Your not worth the ground you stand on."

Exhausted Bolivar was but his spirit told him to continue on despite that. His legs felt heavy, his body felt sickly and his stomach and throat was flaring up but the squire was well aware of the conditions he had to endure to fight. "Any kid can a mess. It takes a real man to clean one up." Bringing his great axe to his chest Bolivar readied himself for another bout with Kisetukai, whether his opponent was ready or not. Rocking on the balls of his feet Bolivar stamped down before jumping towards Kisetukai. "You mean this axe?"

Making a wide sweep under both of Kise's legs Bolivar intended to scoop his feet from the ground. Whether he dealt with it or not the look on Bolivar's face spoke volumes of what he thought of Kisetukai right now. Glyph? The one I had not even used yet? What was he talking about? Granted the way Kisetukai handled it earlier it would probably end up backfiring. Better to dispose of that now. "On my mark. Gush."

Glyphs Bolivar handed out were usually intended as party gifts. Really showy affairs from a competent reimancer. So if they were to be used against a live target the effects were strong yes but much less powerful then the target/user thought. Even less so if it just simply backfired. In this case that splendid rise of water Bolivar prepared painstakingly just exploded into a hot mess of water spurting everywhere. Granted it was on Kisetukai's persons so it made it look like the squire recently wet himself as Bolivar drew closer. "My name is Bolivar. Mr. Nice guy. ...I'm gonna punch you in your schnoz."

"Shiress was right. Your not worth the ground you stand on."

That name... Why was it haunting him. Why was it always in his head! He did nothing to the girl c it was Shin, yet he was the one taking the punishment. Why?! Was he a bad person? No. But apparently it was his fault... And just like that very day. He lost control... Heavily breathing, Shin had took control of the body, sensing the rage of his brother. K... You don't have to worry anymore. Because I will fix your mess, as always. Shin heard nothing else as Bolivar came in with a swoop of his axe, was he aiming to take out his legs? Or just knock him off balance? Either way, he was no longer fighting K. He was no longer fighting a squire. He was fighting Shin, a young boy who feared nothing... Not even death. In all actuality he embraced it. For it brought out the best in others, but someone like Bolivar... Had to be taught a lesson.

Quickly with a burst of speed, Shin jumped up, barely avoiding the wooden tool. Automatically and naturally his right arm flew forward with a jab aimed at Bolivar's nose, he was unsure if it hit because it was with speed he had never reached before. But then again it was his first punch, so it was all new, but he liked it. Instantly tapping into Kise's mind, and obtaining a skill set for boxing, Shin was ready to play. But for him, boxing was too... Honorable. So he would bend it , just a little. He quickly felt a gush in his pants, as a bit of water exploded, giving him a small sensation. He never looked down to acknowledge it, more or less he gave Bolivar his attention, stating words back at him. "Oh... I see. That water magic was fancy. That may have worked against one of my brothers but..." He grunted out, turning into a yell as he swung huge diagonal right uppercut aimed to wind him. "I'm not one of my brothers." He mumbled, so silently it was almost inaudible.

He instantly pressed on the attack, his blank dull expression changing into his sadistic smile of serial killer. "I. Want. To. See. Your. Power!" He shouted out as he began a streak, forming a brutal combo." Throwing a left straight then a right for a strong one two combination, then a left hook, followed by a right punch with an uppercut. He yelled out as he fought, keeping his insane smile plastered across his face. "Are you strong? Do you want to protect Shiress? You want to protect a little slave bi-...Can you protect.... Yourself?!" Finishing with a lightning right straight aimed at Bolivar's face, this was his punch to end it, if not knocking him out then hopefully knocking him on his bottom. Shin wanted power... Because he was power.

Show me your power.

oocHey forgot this existed. Long time no see :) Ok I took your advice and kept it short. Instead of throwing another ultimate combo... I decided to give you what I think you wanted. A fair fight with Shin. The maniac. Goodluck and can't wait for your reply. Tell me what ya think? Good reply? Happy I was able to get one more in before sleep :) thanks!

My Pride, Your Practise! [Bolivar]

Postby Bolivar on May 2nd, 2013, 1:44 pm

The glyph was suppose to give Bolivar much more time then this. Reinmancy from up close was not just a light sensation. Another uppercut. An involuntary jerk back followed as Bolivar stepped back to space himself once more from Kisetukai. A cornered opponent just revealed itself.

Grimacing slightly feeling the hot impression from Kisetukai's uppercut the mixed blood too found himself getting agitated once more. Bolivar was being too cordial with the boxer there was no such thing as fighting nicely. Breathing out Bolivar did not bother trying to piece together what Kisetukai muttered to him. To the mage squire it was nothing more then ramblings and incantations from possible djed usage. Not like Bolivar wasn't doing it himself. Panting slightly from exertion the mage squire devised a way to use his reimancy up close to give him an advantage.

All I have to do is wait for the chance to present itself. From earlier trades I know what to look for. Now all that was left was to not give Kisetukai any room to relax. To fight smarter and harder. Bringing his great axe up Bolivar once again kept his reach advantage over Kisetukai now offering him little to trade for. Bolivar had well over a few feet over the boxer and was going to use it to the fullest of his ability. With a two handed weapon and reimancy Bolivar rocked on the balls of his heels a plan fully underway.

Bringing his axe low once more Bolivar aimed at Kisetukai's legs again. They presented themselves as an easier target and would work to inhibit the boxer's movements. That leap to avoid the earlier sweep was impressive but Bolivar knew to keep patient. After all this was practice.

The tip of Kise's right found itself on the mixed blood cheek as the mixed blood's left hand went up to address the hit. These were not the attacks his reimancy was looking to take advantage of. Kise's hook slammed into Bolivar's side as he swayed back to avoid the uppercut. Those were not it either.

His opponent was yelling, much too fixated on harming him rather then being on guard. The time was going to arrive soon. There it was! Brining his left hand up Bolivar clutched at his res gripping the gooey mass of djed in front of him before turning it towards Kisetukai. The straight. Willing his res forward Bolivar transmuted his res into wind. No water! No something else... Shooting a thin layer of sheet ice at the majority of Kise's upper body Bolivar's countermeasure was finally revealed.

Bolivar 's left foot edging forward the mixed blood dropped his center of gravity close to the ground. His left hand finding it's favored place on his axe handle Bolivar did what felt right in his position. Another hard sweep at Kise's legs. This time fully intent on hitting his opponent's shins. Tactics providing him with this moment. Resolve in his hands. Bolivar gave a hard swing low and hoped for the best.

Crunch!

Shin could feel the pain in his shins, the delicate roaring of the body's nerves, yet he refuse to pay attention to any detail. After all his motto was that the strongest came out on top, and you had to fight for everything, pain was not something that he would let conquer him. But then it became even worse, sharp, cold, and blunt ice somehow began to tag his body. As it chilled and seemed to scar his skin, he knew that he was in trouble. Shin could go on all day, but he knew this body shouldn't take much abuse. After all no body, no Shin. Then in one quick motion he felt Bolivar seem to add to the pain, a crushing blunt slice at the shins once more. It seemed as if he was going for the demobilize technique, brilliant in Shin's eyes but futile as one of his opponents. Time to turn it up, this was all he thought about. Bolivar's... Power.

"I'm not some boxer..." Shin mumbled, speaking inaudibly again. "I'm a visionary!" He said with an insane chuckle as his energy seemed to burst again. His legs stinging from the last blow, they felt hot, and as such he used that to his advantage to move faster. Shuffling his feet like Kise would do, he copied the boys whole boxing movement. His legs crouching with his body bouncing, his fist raised. Except Shin, like said earlier, was no boxer. Trying to catch Bolivar off guard, he slung his right foot at the young man, it was a straight to the chest area. It was a bit slow, but definitely brutish and strong. Then zooming in, using Kise's weaving technique, he tossed in some boxing. Throwing two swift left jabs, following up with a deadly right hook slinging his body. He wanted to catch Bolivar off guard badly, so he decided to switch it up. Flying up with a right knee, he aimed to hit him directly or at least knock off his guard. While in mid air he would come down with a strong double cupped hands, using both fist like a club, his strength was to be used to knock his opponent to the floor. If he did knock him down though, he would instantly rush to mount him, punching the back of his head.

But then again did he hit him?

Bolivar Notes
If you can give more detail on the use of reimancy rather than just saying you use it, there's more XP to be gained. I'm not asking for fluff; just more than saying you willed res and used it. Devil's in the details. I liked the concepts you had for using it, I just want to see how you were making it happen.

Notes
Gave what I could. I didn't realize Kise had an entire command center in that noggin. Call in the airstrikes! Let me know if you have any questions and don't forget to remove the request from the queue. Thanks!
