91st of Spring, About the 10th Bell

Talulah walked down the streets slowly, yawning and stretching. Her hair and clothes were slightly damp and her hair was in a braid. She had gone swimming in her clothes earlier to wash up. She knew she could probably find somewhere she could do it like an inn but she preferred the cold water.

Talulah tilted her head back and groaned a bit. She had been here for a couple days and had no idea what to do now. "I ruined my chances at finishing that quest! For all I know, they had already finished it!" She thought in frustration. "I can't do anything right can I?! I'm a failure as a Drykas not only because of what I did to earn this curse mark but I tainted my windmarks-" Talulah's thoughts stopped mid-sentence as her eyes drifted towards a handsome looking man.

He was muscular and his skin was a light brown color. His eyes and hair were a goldish brown and she felt herself stop walking to stare at him. After a moment, she realized what she was doing and shook her head, looking away quickly. She looked down and rubbed her hands, wishing she hadn't been so dispirited that she stopped wearing her gloves to hide the curse mark. She wanted to turn around, shy and getting butterflies just thinking about talking to him. But the same thing that pushed her to follow her urges made her feet move forward.

When Talulah stopped in front of the man, she realized she had no idea what she was going to say to him. She opened her mouth and closed it a few times before letting words tumble from her mouth. "H-hi. I'm Talulah Coldwind. O-of the Diamond Clan."

Well Hello There..(closed, Senghor Vilhjalmr)

Postby Senghor Vilhjalmr on April 14th, 2013, 2:31 am

'Finally, getting outta this place! An all its weirdness!!' Senghor Vilhjalmr told himself as he knelt down and packed his bag under the shady tree he'd constantly stashed his bag in, he rummaged and sorted through all his stuff thinking and murmuring lowly to himself, he was wondering where mood of travel he'd use, and where he was going next.

The morning sun was still at ease and he looked up at the sky shortly before dropping his head and sorting his things, he thought, contemplating on what time of the day to leave, asking himself whether it'd be noon or evening. Unorganized as he was, he thought that on that day, he'd leave the Celestial Seat once and for all.

As his eyes darted towards the shadows of the trees leaves, a humanoid shadow seemed to be moving towards him an was engulfed by the predominate shadow of the tree.

A soft and stammering feminine voice emerged aim in his direction, causing him to raise his downcast gaze to look at the woman who'd spoke. 'Drykas?' he questioned himself as his eyes absorbed her beautiful features, she was certainly a thing of beauty yet it only masked her peculiar ways.

Senghor knew that he couldn't shrug her off, so why'd he not entertain her for the time being?, as he stood up and his joints cracked in pleasure and flexibility Senghor spoke lowly, his voice coated with the mature textures of wine and the thickness of honey coated along the words.

"Senghor... Senghor Vilhjalmr" he said as he inclined his head acutely in his gaze, 'There's something strange(r) about this one.... ' he told himself as he listened on, on his new 'guest'...

Talulah blushed as the man looked at her and watched him stand. The butterflies came back when he spoke and she thought to herself, "He has such a nice voice!" She looked down at his stuff sitting on the ground and asked curiously, "It's nice to meet you Senghor..It looks like you're packing up. Where ya' going?"

As she said it, she realized it was a little rude to pry and quickly said, "I-I'm sorry that was rude wasn't it?" She smiled and laughed a bit. "Curiosity killed the cat!" She looked down at her hands and traced the scales on her wrist absentmindedly. "Sorry if I'm bothering you. I meant to go back to my tent but I sort of couldn't help myself..." She said the last part sheepishly, blushing again.

"Ok I think I found what I'm gunna do next..." Talulah thought in irritation. "Find someplace that knows about curse marks or something so I can control myself!"

Senghor raised a brow at the girls quirky actions and told himself that she truly was a strange one, yet he shrugged it off, around there a fine line between strange and surreal was quite real and anyone fell into its hold.

"I don't know, I go where I can find something that'll help me..." he told her with a descending brow, his voice never lost its nerve as he continued to speak with the sweetness that'd played to well in his voice,

"I might be heading to Ravok, it's the most liable of options at the moment" he continued abruptly and knelt down and resumed packing his bag, his knuckles slightly hurting as he, his mind turned back to her words and he decided to ease her mind.

"It's never rude to ask, curiosity is quite natural. And yes, it may have killed the cat yet don't forget that it has nine lives" he reassured as he sorted out his baggage, he seemed to be completing his packing and stood up with a cracking of the joints.

As he looked at the female with a intrigued stare, he murmured incoherently before speaking loudly, "You seem agitated..." Senghor asked with a extra layer of intrigue in his voice, "Is something bothering you?" he finished asking with a tone of fondness only a few could conceive...

Talulah's head snapped up when he mentioned Ravok. "I wonder if the group had made it to Ravok yet...Maybe I could go with him.." She shook her head and immediately rejected the idea. "No way. Asking a guy I just met if I could tag along? Talk about creepy!" She watched him kneel down and resume packing and she knelt down with him, attempting to help.

"It's never rude to ask, curiosity is quite natural. And yes, it may have killed the cat yet don't forget that it has nine lives"

She smiled and sighed with relief at his words, relaxing a little bit. She stood up and bit her lip when he asked her what was wrong. The tone in his voice made her blush. "I'm just a big petching failure that's what's bothering me!" She said with more ferocity than intended.

She sighed and ran her fingers through her hair. "Sorry, I'm really frustrated right now..I didn't mean to shout." She apologized.

As she tried to help him pack his bag, he merely swathed his larger palm along her wrist and shook his head, help wasn't required lest it was dire, his golden brown fine strands seemed to gleam with a lustful adornment of luster and pride.

Senghor arched a brow as he raised his head slightly and looked at the girl with a sense of intrigue and, disgust, he didn't like failures, nay, he detested the word failure as his father taught him never to consider it an option. As he looked stood up with a stricken pose, stiff and tall. His eyes fall down as he towered over her with his height,

"Failure?..." he said lowly as his eyes seemed shaded by some apparent looming force, his voice still as mature and coated as it was seemed to diminish in life and turn cold.

"Tell me, what is it that makes you a failure?" he seemed to ask firmly as he took to standing with a steely pose, one that leaked of violence and darkness, a personal darkness, his darkness...

Well Hello There..(closed, Senghor Vilhjalmr)

OOCSorry for such a long post!

Talulah stared at Senghor as looked down at her, looking disgusted. She made a soft whimpery noise and shrunk away from him. "W-what? He was so friendly before..Why did saying that change him so abruptly..?" She backed away from him, a little scared of him now. She looked down, heart beating so fast and loud now that he could surely hear it.

She had to make a decision: For the first time ever, tell the story of how she was cursed, to someone she just met? Or endure his condescending, dark gaze? She bit her lip and held her head in her hands for a minute, scared of either choice. Finally she sighed and lifted her head to look at his chest, sadness in her eyes as she remembered the day.

"One day, before I ran away from home, I got angry because I kept missing when I was hunting. I...I guess my horrible bow skills are another one of my failures...Drykas are supposed to be good at that stuff. A-anyway, I stormed off and didn't pay attention to where my horse was taking me and ran into a herd of Oli-Olida..da.." Talulah stumbled over the word, struggling to pronounce it. She gave up and stomped her foot. "Shyke I can't pronounce it! But they're like big, fuzzy rhino things. It scared them and made them stampede...

When I rode away, I found a cave and curiosity made me look inside. There were wolves in there and I threw a rock at them. I don't even know why, it seems like such a stupid thing to do now that I look back at it! The wolves chased me back home and there was already chaos caused by the stampeding rhino things and the wolves stopped chasing me to attack there...And then I was cursed by Gnora..."

Talulah thrust her wrist forward, silent tears running down her cheeks, to show him the curse mark. "I can't hunt, I can't shoot a bow, and I tainted my windmarks! I'm a failure as a Drykas! And this damn curse mark just keeps petching up my life more and more everyday!"

Well Hello There..(closed, Senghor Vilhjalmr)

Postby Senghor Vilhjalmr on April 17th, 2013, 6:42 am

A sense of intrigue seemed to come off the body of the ebony skinned man as he listened to her story, it'd seemed she blamed herself for her misfortune, she sought refuge in calling herself a failure and that displeased Senghor, the mere mention of the word contorted his face as he looked at her present her wrist.

Unfolding his arms, he sighed lowly as his right arm outstretched, bringing it towards her wrist, his larger hand swathed hers gently. If he'd wished his hold would be rough and violent yet when he meant it could be warm and gentle, a caress similar to that brought before love and all its splendor.

He looked down at the curse mark and frowned, his golden eyes raised and looked at the woman with a assertive stare, neither enraged nor happy Senghor's left arm outstretched and wrapped around the waist of Talulah. The outline of his necklace along his muscular chest seemed to tighten and visibly show as he pulled her towards him, more sensual than violent was the grasp he had on her as his soft body cushioned the collision they ignited.

As he took breath, warm and relaxed it'd seemed that his right hand was trailing along her arm before cupping her chin to raise her gaze to him, he spoke shortly after with the same voice he'd projected when they'd first spoken, the thick nature of his voice interwoven with sweet maturity oozed off his words as he choose them especially for her,

"Failure?... Failure doesn't exist, there's fault yet not failure. This, mark is not a reminder of your 'failure' it is a uniqueness, it doesn't project fault it projects individuality" he said to her with a seldom smile, it'd seemed that words of wisdom were a trait he'd unknowingly inherited as he brought down his hand and intertwined it with hers, his thumb rubbed her wrist in a circular motion before he detached it from hers.

As he stepped back, the intense heat given at that moment quickly cooled off, dying down with his words as he turned back to his bag to double check if he'd packaged it correctly, a moment attained and a moment lost, it'd seemed that Nyka was more affecting than Senghor had thought...

Talulah tensed slightly as he reached for her wrist, blushing a little when his hand covered hers. "Oh!" she gasped softly when his other arm went around her waist, her face very red as he pulled her close. This was the first time she'd ever been held like this, other than by her mother when she was comforting her, and Gods was her heart beating fast!

Talulah's breathing quickened as Senghor moved his hand from hers, up her arm, and up to hold her chin. Her lips parted slightly as she looked into his gold eyes, almost getting lost in them. His words comforted her, they went into a deep part of her. She made a soft noise as he held her hand and shifted the way she was standing, so she was against him more.

Talulah sighed softly when he went back to his bag, sad that he'd let go of her. She didn't know if it was him or just being held but she felt safe in his arms. "T-thank you..." She said softly and stood there looking at him, not sure what to do know.

"So why're you in Nyka?, not for the praying I hope"

Asked and reassured Senghor as he finished packing his bag and raising his gaze towards the girl, a thought, a question seemed to leave him with a certain intrigue and curiosity.

He stood up and ran his fingers along the strap of his bag, lifting it from the the ground and slinging it over his left shoulder with a grunt of relief, dust collected at the bottom of dark-emerald bag and trickled in golden brown specks towards the ground.

As it swung about slightly, Senghor lapped his arm over it and held it in a firm hold under his arm, his strands of hair seemed to contrast with the shadows shortly before darkening and retaining their nature luster of a fine golden brown gleam, he spoke once more with a steadfast voice as the ambiguities it held seemed to wither off with a sliding warm of age

"No need for thanks, lest you're paying me there's no need to say those words" he assessed her, his right hand trailed along his chest and his index finger trailed over the outline of his necklace, he took and gave breath hence his chest heaved easily without woe, without temperament....
