Alisha intruded the knights before dragging the red Inartan. Every moment now was fast and with a blink of an eye these knights surrounded the rest of them. She can defend him and the Myrian, especially the crowd witnessed the whole fight.
“Sir, I think it’s not righteous to take this man while the act of magic was for self-defense. The public had seen the flow of event. Should the squire too be punished or sentenced to this. It’s the fault of this guy, your troop.”
She held the hand of the knight’s leader closing into hers, her eyes looking for mercy. Her eyes wandered for support from the mob. Instantly, she could tell that they too disagreed, and was on their side. After some, she released and let them get him. She faced the Myrian and the ghost, “If they accused him wrong bend over the truth then will petitioned to the higher courts about this. Look, we got the people on our side.”

What cuts deepest

Postby Bolivar on April 22nd, 2013, 6:24 am

Shaking head slightly Bolivar regarded the group with the usual cold indifference that he initially showed. Obviously they knew nothing about how the city worked. Everyone in the city was brought up to follow the law. Squires and knights in particular were expected to also show virtues that would make them worthy of the that magical little tree that emanated nothing but good will. However there were always ignorant people it seemed and these in particular were still being stubborn.

Breathing lightly Bolivar did not even bother listening to Fubuki. "Don't take the people of Syliras lightly ghost. Next time DON'T act in such a disorderly way." Making sure to not look Fubuki directly Bolivar knew he should be better then this. Normally the squire did not have to argue about something so plain and simple but having multiple instances of it happen at once just got under his skin. The ghost should have known better but Bolivar admittedly he reacted too strongly in the beginning.

"Hmph" Bolivar carefully watched the Inarta as he reached for his weapon. Apparently he did not like how Bolivar persuaded people. The action was enough of a challenge for Bolivar to be on guard, what more when the mixed blood saw the res appear on the Inarta's persons. "I thought Inarta despised magic." Though partially true Bolivar knew how useful reinmancy and shield in particular to society as a whole. Perhaps they were the exceptions for that race? "Hey..."

The Inarta's res came uncomfortably close which caused the squire to step back. "Do you realize what you have done?" Taking another step back Bolivar warily regarded the Inarta's res while clenching his left hand in irritation. The rubbing of his index finger was at a all time high when Bolivar realized the what element the Inartan knew. Earth.

Thankfully Bolivar had fully functioning eyes that could see the stranger's res. Did he perhaps thought that he did not know what it was? Maybe he thought that I couldn't see it? "You know one of the first thing they teach you with magic is to first look at a person's hands." Stumbling back for a moment before finding his balance Bolivar gave a look of annoyance before shaking his right hand in response. They were marked with the telltale scars of a reinmacer. A practitioner of one of the more obvious magics.

Do nothing. Bolivar gave a disconcert look realizing this slight spat was over. Watching the patrol run in between them Bolivar gave up all inhibitions of continuing this further. Shyke. Breathing heavily for a moment longer then necessary Bolivar bowed his head in chagrin. "No ser. I am to move along and report to a knight. I was too fervent. Got too irate and involved myself." Bolivar knew there would be consequences due to this incident down the line. Sighing slightly Bolivar mentally chided himself for his lack of protocol. "I'll do better next time ser."

Closing his eyes knowing what happened next Bolivar simple awaited their decision. "Yes sir." Hearing the muffled stop Bolivar breathed in slightly before almost relinquishing his own arm. Looking up and seeing Wade's fiery gaze Bolivar quietly mused about what the patrole leader was trying to convey. They WERE always watching and Bolivar knew the man's decision to be just. Just being a knight meant to be a paragon of the virtues and in turn a judge of the martial law here in the city. "Understood."

Only now noticing the woman in red Bolivar furrowed his brow slightly unbelievingly. Did he not just saw to not involve yourself and mind your own business? This simple situation was escalating because of these unnecessary intrusions. Fool girl you might get yourself dragged yourself if you keep going against the knight's word. "If you find it just in doing so I will do as you say."

Getting up as if in a daze Bolivar crossed his arms looking at Adsila. "Are you hard of hearing? There are rules within the city. If you want to stay here you must adhere to them." Looking at Fubuki Bolivar finally gave the specter some form of guideline to follow. "If you haven't figured it out already don't make a scene in the streets. Your a ghost. Your more prone to cause a disturbance if you don't practice social decorum. Keep that in mind next time you suddenly have the impulse to act out."

Once more the peanut gallery decided to speak out against the established martial law. Bolivar was quickly getting tired of this notion. Not every citizen in the city was this... witless. Right? After seeing what happens when they disobeyed and disrupted the order that should deter others from following. Swallowing slightly Bolivar gave an impassive face at the woman who was trying to appeal them to act out foolishly. "Right. I see the caliber of minds I speak to. How about this? Go to the tavern. Mind your own business. Understand that?"

Rolling his eyes slightly Bolivar mildly hoped the simple request would make more sense to whoever was still around. "In any case I still have to learn about the different metal types." Putting the dagger back into his pack Bolivar looked at each of them in turn before he shrugged. Bolivar would have offered the chance to watch if he were more socially adept but the thought merely stayed in his thoughts. "You behave yourselves."

Fubuki Kouri

OOCThis will be my last reply for the thread. :D Kouri will leave the area.

It has been fun guys, thank you~

"............" Kouri felt that if she did anything more but being quiet, she would cause more trouble. And yet, another person, this time a human female was defending her. "I uh... I..." Kouri stuttered her words, but she couldn't find any answer. She just wanted to get out of here.

Kouri was frozen in place as she saw knights coming and physically assault the Inartan and the Myrian. Hi?! W-why? And then a knight was approaching and keeping an eye on her. Kouri looked up to the knight in fear mixed with disgust, especially to Wade. "............." She just kept silent as Wade crushed Gaius' right hand. When my Master take over this city... I'll have him order your execution... all of you... Kouri's eyes narrowed in disgusted anger as she stared at the knights. They soon left, carrying Gaius with them.

As the half-Isurian squire explained to her about what she did wrong. Kouri locked her reptillian gaze to his eyes. She lightly smiled and slightly bowed to him ."Yes... sir" Kouri acknowledged him, though it was clear that her voice was dripping with venom. She lifted her head and whispers a curse in Vani. "Petch this... all of this..." She slowly turned around, her back facing the lot of them, and vanished. Blinking away from the area, heading to her favorite tree in the Bronze Woods.

Postby Gaius Sivet on April 22nd, 2013, 10:53 am

Gaius was about to curse, rather fluently, at the squire, when he saw the patrol of knights. He released his res and let it fade away as they surrounded the group and kicked him roughly to his knees. He cursed mentally and held up his hands, making sure the knights had no reason to assault him further. He listened as the man, Wade, spoke.

Suddenly, he was slammed into the ground, a knight laying atop him, crushing him against the pavement, his right hand splayed out on the ground. He listened as Wade delivered his threat and then felt the man's large, heavy boot slam down on his hand. There were a series of cracks and crunching sounds as the bones in his hand broke. Gaius gasped and his eyes watered and he only barely stopped himself from screaming and cursing.

His vision went black for a moment and by the time it cleared, he was being carried away by two knights, his right hand limp and useless. He cursed them all silently as they jostled his hand, sending a lightning bolt of pain through it. Reimancy, swordplay, simple tasks like eating. All were going to be either difficult or impossible without the use of his dominant hand.

He sighed and remained quiet as the knights hauled him away, dropping him in a large cell after taking his weapons and then locking the door. He cursed quietly in Inartan and moved to sit with his back to a corner, cradling his broken hand.

Adsila caught the waterskin that was thrown to her and she started to drink out of it. When Adsila was done drinking some of the water that was in it, she tossed it back to the nice lady.

I looked towards the new lady that had just walked over to the circle.
"Thank you for the water. So what is it that we do now. I really don't think that anyone else deserves to be hurt, but I have a feeling that we are not done being her yet, but I do not want to be punished like Gaius just was, and I clearly don't know any magic, but still it is not fair how this knight has reacted to the situation."
Adsila said to the woman and then turned around and faced the knight.

"How do you know that she is dangerous, she explained herself and you still do not believe her. She didn't even give you a reason to bring this upon her. How do you know that I am safe, that this ne ladt is safe, that anyone in the circle is safe, or any safer than the next person? This ghost had not shown you any way to react the way you did and yet you reacted very poorly in my opinion and sorry for speaking my mind, but I do not believe that that is how Knights should act and if so then I am not for supporting them and would very soon leave this city than remain in it, if this is how the knights are training new knight to become."
Adsila said and then turned back to look at everyone and wondered how the ghost was doing.

A ride of headache made her to closed her vision and to connect two of her striking brows. The hotness of the place dried her lips. Opening her mouth but then refused to emit any more. This will be a waste of time. Of course, this was Syliras. Alisha blinked watering her pair of eyes. This was Syliras. This was Syliras. Repeating the phrase to comfort herself down. She leave the scene without any goodbyes. What's the use of staying anyways?

The Knights took Gaius away to the tank where he was locked up, while he awaited his sentencing/ Luckily, or rather unluckily for him it was a short trail and he was sentenced to work in the Lykolav Iron mine for the rest of the season of Spring.

Adsila looked around. Adsila was pretty sure that this was pointless that it was going nowhere and because he was a knight he was okay to do whatever he pleased.

Adsila watched as the ghost left, shook her head and also herself left the group of people and the nonsense of the knight.
Adsila was highly disappointed in what was going on here ...
I hope that not all knights are like that.
Adsila thought to herself as she walked away and left the others to do whatever they chose, but she could tell that there would be no winning that battle.
