The sun shone brightly on the sky. The light radiated oven the stone pavements in the garden. There were only a few cloud scattered throughout the sky, some formed shapes of animals. Accalia was spending the day at the stone garden, under the instruction of Castor – he believes that she needed to be more dispensed ad focused. Accalia needed to meditate so that her concentration could be strength, in her line of work, concentration and focus are vital. Without these things, her spiritual techniques will suffer and could mean the end for her.
Accalia wandered around the stone garden. She walked around to find a peaceful place to sit and relax her thoughts. While she was doing that, she was admiring the beauty of garden. She then found a spot at the partly shaded by the fountain. She sat down and crossed her legs and placed her arms over her stomach – assuming the half-lotus position.
She slowly closed her eyes and began to breathe rhythmically. She took a breath in and allowed her chest and abdomen to rise simultaneously as she filled her lungs fill with air. She felt the breeze brushing past her and the birds chirping in the background. Slowly, Accalia felt like she had loss all of her weight and was floating.
Accalia sat in her spot meditation for about a bell, at this point Accalia’s mind was absent and she was tranquil. However, a few chimes later her was bumped by someone’s leg and snapped back into the real world. When Accalia looked at the person, she remained silent. The person was a woman who looked slightly older than her. She had dark, curly and wavy hair, and wore a blouse. When the person looked at her, she could her bright blue eyes.
Accalia stared into the woman’s eyes with her mismatched eyes. Accalia remained silent as she slowly comes out of her meditative trance. She thought she could hear the woman talking to her but wasn’t sure. She stood up and once again looked into the woman’s eyes, that is when she came out of her trance. She shook her head slightly and looked at the woman head to toe, trying to register her. She was someone she had never met before. “Who are you?” she asked in her mid-ranged feminine tone. |

Leda liked and had an aversion to the Stone Gardens in equal measure. They were peaceful, beautiful and a relief in the face of the rest of Syliras - shut off and full of people as it so often was, dark and dank in place - but Leda supposed that she disliked the overall feeling of melancholy and sadness that she so often experienced when she came ther. It was not so much its purpose as a memorial. It would be wrong to object to a monument to those thousands of people who died, sacrificed themselves, for the greater good. But it was exactly that - the thought of the nameless, faceless dead and this all that there was to show for it. She really could not help being ambiguous because she couldn't even tell what her heart and mind was urging her to think and feel. Such situations could be very tedious.
Still, she liked it. If she were a poet, she'd write about it. If a painter, she'd paint it. If a composer, she might be moved to write a piece, composed for the majority of wind instruments, inspired by it. Unfortunately, for she would dearly have loved to have been, she was neither of those things.
"The Pebbles that surround me on either side Are smooth and rounded and cold to touch, Equally spaced out like playing pieces in a game It's a shame wars are not organised as such."
Yes, she could always try, but she was definitely not any of those things - at least not to the level that would compliment the garden shrine. It was really very sunny and Leda was glad that she had neglected to bring her cloak. It would have been cumbersome to drag around and she certainly should not have wished to put it on. As she reached a fountain, perhaps one of the nicest features in the garden, she had to pause in her walk merely to observe the way it curved up towards the sky and showered out like one of those low hanging trees or flowers in an explosion of perfectly clear and shimmering water.
It was then that she noticed a figure. A man or a woman, she could not tell, but moving closer, it was younger than at first view. A teenager obviously, three or four years younger than herself, with a strange flurry of silver hair, sitting with its back to the sun. Standing almost right next to the stranger, she decided that he or she was decidedly androgynous and completely out of it. She wished she could meditate without being distracted by the outside world in such a manner, but the sun was beating upon the stranger's fair skin and Leda thought it only wise to warn them.
"You're going to burn yourself if your not careful. It's a beautiful day."
The stranger did not seem to understand so she repeated her statement. Finally, the stranger spoke and it was a decidedly feminine voice.
"I am Leda. And yourself?" |

OOCSorry that's it very short. I could get and ideas. forgive me
Leda? That name echoed in her mind as she continued looking at the woman. Accalia shook her head slightly, silencing the echo. She hen cleared her thought a little before introducing herself. Accalia always wanted to make her first impression a clear one. Accalia breathed in and she began to speak.
“Nice to meet you, Leda. I’m called Accalia… I mean, my name is Accalia.”
Accalia made a slip up, but it was a minor one and maybe she didn’t pick up on it. Accalia looked at the Leda with curious. Her name intrigued her as she hasn’t heard a name like that before. She smiled at the Leda and about asked her name.
“You’re name sounds pretty, does it have a meaning?” she said, inclining her head slightly.
Accalia then sat back down near the fountain, gesturing for the Leda to sit. Accalia’s intention of meditation had changed. She knew that her brother would nag about what she had done, but if she was meeting someone new, she didn’t mind. Accalia lowered her hood, so she could see the woman with clarity. Upon lowering he hood, she looked at Leda and noticed a few things.
Wow. Blue eyes, dark hair and a long neck, and she quite young… and is obviously older than me. I wonder if she has all males at her knees… But I should ask that…
Accalia took a glimpse at her own body, and gave a slight grumble at remembering that her body didn’t belong to her. She has been in this body for so long that she had forgotten about that information. Accalia heaved a little sigh and looked back at Leda. |
