Mongoose Appearance Race: Pycon Gender: Female Age: 11 Birthday: Summer 12, 502 AV Birthplace: Ahnatep Appearance: Mongoose's current form is a mongoose, whose tail extends into a cobra. Her clay is a reddish brown, akin to sand in the deepest parts of the desert. Character Concept Mongoose often appears emotionless, though that is far from the case. She has been trained to internalize her emotions, to try and not let them get in the way. Because of this, she makes contacts, not friends, partners in business and crime, not in love. But she often falters, her emotions bursting forth in large, concentrated bursts. Character History Mongoose was born in Ahnatep and was quickly separated from her parents, who were sold as slaves. She was bought by another Pycon though, who set her free. He began teaching her the subtleties of Ahnatep that many foreigners never come to understand. He taught her the ways of subtlety, combat, and other means of becoming useful to the forces that truly mattered in the city. He taught her to be a tool for others' to use, if they paid enough. He planned to train her for many years, making her his successor. But he was killed during a mission, leaving her all by herself. She continues her training, and is now confident enough to start working on her own. She gained her current form, and name, after besting a Dhani in combat. Onlookers quickly began calling her Mongoose, until that became who she was. She is now looking for an employer, and improving herself. She has no need for revenge, for her master had always said to take the emotion out of the mission. She just wishes to be used, to build a proper reputation among the right people, and live a comfortable life full of danger and risk.
