"Why don't I socialize more? Do you not recognize who I am ... I am not very liked around here, even though there are Myrian's in the knights, people still don't like my race very well ... They all think we are the same, and even though I still have Myrian side effects but I do not like to act on those impulses which I usually do not act on, but right now I just need to take a little breather, don't worry I won't attack you or anything I am just a little upset at what has been going on, and trust me feel free if you want to leave I would understand."
Adsila said to K, then she got up and went back to refill her glass...
"Just give me a couple of minutes and then we can continue to talk."
Adsila said to him.
Adsila then concentrated on drinking her drink and took a couple of deep breaths and then drank the rest of her drink.
"Are you sure you don't want a drink?"
Adsila asked him.
Adsila then took a couple more deep breaths and thought about what she was going to say.
"How did I know about your plan ... well it was kind of like most guys with plans. And you just wanted a way to get away which I have said twice now if you want to leave that badly at this point I am not going to stop you, I might regret it later, but I don't see the point of making you stay if you do not want to stay, and another thing, I am a Myrian, I have been brought up to see when people are just trying to avoid things and when people are trying to get away. We are fighters. I know how to look for certain signs and signals, and you just continued to try and get me to lay down with you and to relax, and then you would leave once I fell asleep or once I wasn't paying attention. I have seen this motive before. It is not something new to me, you don't know much about my race; or you would know that your plan would not work very well. And well you just seem to be the kind of person, from the last time we met, and from earlier today, that you just want to get away that this chase is all fun and games for you, well guess what it isn't for me."
Adsila said and then paused before she would continue more just in case K had something to say.
"As to how I knew that you were going to do it. It just seemed like something you would do, just by how your actions have been so far. You seem to like the thrill of the chase and I don't see you settling down anytime soon. Maybe you should work on your tactics a little more and not give so much away, but as I told you that I am not like most women, I see things, I don't just like you because of your body and your personality, although those do help."
Adsila said while blushing.
"You are a veyr interesting man, your mind interests me, your personalities interest me, and what you have told me so far about yourself interest me, I don't know what else to tell you, sure I could probably meet other friends out there, but I don't think any of them would interest my mind quite like you do. But as I have said, if you are still so intent on leaving, there is the door."
Which Adsila motioned with her head.
"You came in the door, I am sure you know how to leave."
Adsila then stopped and stared at K, because now she didn't know what his next action was going to be. Was he going to stay and continue to talk or was he going to walk out the door and leave it as it has been. Adsila would love to be his friend, but as she said, she was not going to chase him anymore.
That was her borderline thing, was that she was tired of chasing him.
This was all up to K now. This was being left to him. This is going to be either the starting of a friendship or the end of one, and sure she will probably be upset for awhile, because she thought they were making progress, but then again K was still a big mystery.
"So what is your choice going to be?"
Adsila asked him once more.
