Jesslyn took his silence as a good thing that is curiosity was fixed and continued walking with him and her companion. She knew he would leave soon. They were getting closer to her house, she was sure, and the forest wasn't as dense around the Skyglow area as the Frostfawn.

Sure enough the deer simply butted his head to her shoulder before stopping and then walking out of her vision. It confused her to no end that he simply stopped but she soon found the reason for it.
"We are almost to the Skyglow hold now,..."Jesslyn nodded and then shook her head. Her hair moved with it and slid over their joined arms, "Nonsense, if I didn't want you to see my work I wouldn't have suggested it."

Jesslyn could feel the eyes of others on her as they actually walked into her new home. It might have been 2 years but it still felt new. Of course small rumors would start but she didn't have her staff, still didn't know what she did with it, so that could be logical for having the man on her arm. But if someone asked him right now if he knew she was blind... that could ruin things. But Jesslyn knew someone wouldn't randomly ask the guy if he knew she was blind so she pushed that thought of of her mind.

Finding nothing to say Jesslyn tugged on his arm when he started to turn the wrong way. Nodding her head in the direction of her place Jesslyn led on. She knew where she was going now that she was in a familiar place and could find familiar blurs to latch unto.
"Almost there. Couple more down and we'll be there. It's on the left with paint on the handle and center of the door."

Truth be told a lot of the homes had paint on the door but she couldn't see colors so she had marked the center of her door and most of the people on the left had paint where hips would push in. It helped her at least. Plus the paint on her door was thick enough to bump off the door if you ran your fingers over it and then the door. Perfect for if she got lost.

Pyren shivered continuously as they made their way to the Skyglow vintana. The night was probably at its darkest about now as they walked. Pyren noticed the deer go away shortly before they made it to the Skyglow's home. Their was a still silence after Jess answered his question. He was always inquisitive but decided he wasn't going to obtrusive with a barrage of questions turned interrogation.

Something felt odd as they walked through the Skyglow vintana. Pyren looked around but couldn't quite place it. He saw some people avert his gaze as he looked around the room, his eyes trying to find the source of this off-putting feeling. He almost put the two together when he felt the tug on his arm by Jess. He nodded, indicating to her he understood and gave her a warm smile.

He found the door and stood waiting. He didn't want to be rude and presumptious by opening the woman's own door for her. On the other hand, was he being rude by not opening the door for her? Ugh, being polite was a pain. He decided to just let her take the initiative, it was her home afterall. "Home sweet home" He said, mainly because he had nothing else to say.

Pyren shivered in the night and Jesslyn could feel on her hands and face now, why. But under neath all his shivering Jesslyn could feel pent up energy. He was like a loaded step of a frozen runner. Waiting for the muscles to release their pent up energy and spring into action. It was one of Jesslyn favorite things. Much like a calm before the storm. She would set her legs apart, one in front of the other, and then tighten all her muscles. Then she would lean forward, arms poised, and wait. And just when she felt she couldn't handle it anymore and she was shaking, off she went. Sprinting out into the night or day for unknown distances.

As they stopped in front of the place which was indeed hers Jesslyn was brought out of her adrenaline spell. Realizing that he was waiting on her to open the door Jesslyn cracked a smile. He was tense and felt confused or conflicted.
"It's locked anyways. Don't worry about it. But if you would be a gentleman and turn away that would be great."

Jesslyn didn't wait for an answer but simply unlaced her arm from his and turned him slightly. Then turned to her door and felt along the left side for her key. After Jesslyn had bought the place she had taken her knife and hacked out a space between the door frame and wall for her key. Grabbing hold of the key she quickly grabbed it and unlocked the door.

Pushing open the messy door Jesslyn relaxed as a warm breeze seeped out of her home. The smell of paints, pencil shavings, local spice, and just the smell of Jesslyn intoxicated her nose. It happened every time the door opened. It had become something of an anchor for Jesslyn to come home to.

Taking the first steps in Jesslyn kicked off her shoes then stopped and looked over her shoulder, Pyren was bordering in her vision,
"You can come in now." Jesslyn turned back to her humble abode and shuffled to her bed. Tossing the key there she moved around by touching to wall until she came to a small stack of paintings leaning against the wall, "These are the best in my hands."

Jesslyn separated the 4 imaged along the wall. And stepped back. Instantly Jesslyn dropped to the floor with a small thud. The sound of a paintbrush rolling across the floor made Jesslyn frown. Not bothering to get up Jesslyn waved an arm at the paintings. "Take a look while I recover from embarrassment. There are others if you wish to take a look but those are my best. There are others around the room if you wish to see more."

Jesslyn hoped with all her might that the place wasn't that messy but from the vibrations she was getting... supplies was everywhere, her bed was a mess, her clothing was scattered around, the chair was near the door while the table was right beside her hearth, and she already knew paint could be found on all the walls, the floor, the ceiling, and her furniture. It was a wonder her bedding and clothes were still clean.

He rolled his eyes a bit and gave a soft smirk as he turned around. women he thought. He found it a little strange and uncomforting that the woman wouldn't open a door in front of him. He had no idea why, although it might have been obvious to others. Pyren was always a little thick headed and often lacked common sence. Once the smell of paint hit his nose he figured the door was opened and turned around.

He immediatley noticed the arvinta was somewhat a mess. It had the look of a busy painter, Pyren thought. It wasn't bad in that respect, it had the feel of a hundred little painting projects gone unfinished. He turned his attention to what she had named her best works. He examined the paintings one by one. Most of them were swirling lines and colors. They were pretty...but maybe not his style. He liked things to look like other things, he shrugged. He got to the last one and smiled, this one was more like it.

The last painting may have been just like the others but to Pyren it reminded him of an ice capped river breaking apart for the summer thaw. It was a sight he was familair with. Maybe that wasit, in the other paintings he couldn't find anything to familiarize himself with. This one touched his nature loving heart though. He gave them simple but high praise to the Skyglow. "They are increadibly well done and very beautiful."

Jesslyn was slightly impatient as Pyren looked at her artwork. She had let him in and was starting to... well simply regret it. Maybe he wasn't looking to simply look at them maybe he was planning on stealing something. She really needed to stop letting random people in her home.

Just when she was getting ready to ask him if he could leave he finally spoke. Jesslyn blushed at the praise and gave a tentative smile, "Thank you." Jesslyn moved around the man to the paintings, "Would you like to... possibly purchase one or would you rather head on out?" Jesslyn wasn't kicking him out per-say but simply trying to get rid of him, politely.

Jesslyn put the paintings back in a stack against the wall and turned back to the man, taking a step back when she realized she was a little close. "Actually I have a question." Jesslyn couldn't believe she forgot him. "Have you heard anything from Soren Frostfawn? I haven't seen him since our date at the beginning of the season... just wondering where the man is at." Jesslyn gave a smile.

Jesslyn wasn't stupid. She knew the man had an interest in her so she wanted to crush it as quickly as possible. She wasn't 'taken' but she was unavailable and didn't want people getting the wrong idea. But she did have to admit, his blur was a sight. Or rather a jaggedy staticky sight.
