Jesslyn pulled her cloak tighter around her as she trekked on. It was almost Midnight so the activity of the park had gone considerably scarce. And just how Jesslyn wanted it at this time. Normally Jesslyn would rather be running in the Boardwalk during the day so if she got lost others could help her.
But today wasn't the case. She was getting so close to snapping at her own people. At the people who she grew up with, with the people who she wished so more for, for the people who had once been so friendly that if you were in another Hold it wasn't questioned. But Jesslyn wasn't that type of person. She upheld her people as the highest. They were her first and last love.
But somehow the tension and 'magic' were starting to affect her. At the slightest thing she was becoming undone and twitchy. Jesslyn quickly stepped to the left in-order to avoid a statue. She almost didn't see it if she hadn't had stepped on a clear spot in the path.
Just as she turned left at a four way she found herself in a spot she had never been in before. Coming to a slow stop Jesslyn observed the blurs around her. There appeared to be a small frozen fountain by a tree and a bench. Breathing heavily Jesslyn's heated red eyes moved with her head. Trying to find familiar blurs or even a familiar sound.
When nothing came to her Jesslyn decided to take a break before she started back up running. Just before she reached the bench a familiar blur, more like a solid, stepped into view. Jesslyn turned and sat before breathing through her nose, "So I must be in the Frostfawn area if your here." Jesslyn was returned with a snort.
Jesslyn gave a smile and crossed her arms, "So what bring you so far from the wild?" Jesslyn took a deep breath and slowly let it out. The blur moved forward, its hooves moved on the hard ground. When it came close enough Jesslyn reached her hand out. The deer moved closer until her palm was on its snout before it snorted.
Jesslyn gave a tight-lipped smile but couldn't hold in the grin when the deer stomped, "I haven't seen you in a while. Nor have I given you a name..." The deer shook its head but was careful with its horns. "Hmm, what would be fitting for the Frostfawn deer that saved my life and Sera's?" Jesslyn was given no response so she thought over it.
Petting his snout Jesslyn blindly let her other hand lay on his neck, "How about Ryder?" A snort, "But it's a cool name!" A snort again. Jesslyn snorted herself, "Fine fine. Give me some time!" Jesslyn continued to pet and rub the deer as she thought.
After sometime the deer became impatient and nudged her face with its snout, "I got it!" Jesslyn exclaimed, " Sevlein!" The deer seemed to pause before nodding its head, "See I told you you would like it!" The deer started to relax when it seemed to pick up on something Jesslyn couldn't.
It's body went tense and Jesslyn found herself slowly having Sevlein moving to her side, "Stay out of view." She whispered. "Who's there?!" She called getting a little anxious herself. It was night-time and she was in the middle of the Frostfawn area for all she knew... actually she didn't know. Which made things worse.
