Alright!
The woman with the luscious red hair stopped the beast, not the way he had expected things to turn out, but at least she stopped it. "Yeah! Good going... You got her." Kise said over joyed, turning his head to the woman. "You know... I honestly thought we were gonna have to run away but..." His words drifted off as he turned his head, looking back at the spot were the beast once sat, unable to piece together reality. "Wait... No... You had that petcher stuck in the earth. How the petch did it escape?! How did it... Excuse my language." Sighing a bit, he realized he had a sailors mouth when it came to battle, something he hated.
"K... What say you?" Kise mumbled to himself, low enough to where he he hoped the woman wouldn't notice. "Me?... I think that you should stay away from that wench? That's my kill." K muttered in Kise's head, talking finally breaking his mental silence. "Really? You want to want to beat this monster that bad that-" "No!..." K interrupted. "I'm talking about that one over there with the curves... Her name is Azcadelia. I got a bone to pick with her." K said sharply. "Well actually... You can say I got a bone to give her... Hahaha!" His voice fading off as Kise looked Azcadelia up and down in a glance, seeing her... Curves. Blushing a bit, he wiggled his head, flushing it with air... When he heard it.
Singing... Eerie singing. It sounding like... Like... That one ghost. The only ghost he had ever met. That ghost with the master... The one that Shin almost let K raped.
[i]How the heck do I not remember that little girl's name?! Has it been that long since I have seen Kouri?
....
Kouri! That's Kouri!
That's... Kouri?
Giving Kouri a look up and down, in this form he was unsure... That couldn't be her. It was probably another ghost that ate her. Could ghost eat ghost? What if Kouri really had been eaten by a bigger badder ghost?!
"Kouri? Kouri?!" He mumbled, slowly turning into a sharp yell. Yet she didn't stop, instead she sung a small tune. It was... Awful. Absolutely awful. After the first two lines, Kise spoke out loud quietly. "It... Doesn't even rhyme... That can't be Kouri. Even a little kid like Kouri knows how to rhyme..." He was left dumfounded when a dagger came whizzing at Azcadelia. Faster than he could even laugh at his joke, she didn't even move, she just stood there. Naturally... Without thinking, K ran out to her. Leaping into the air, his right fist came overhand, the opposite of an upper cut. Creating a downwards ark, his goal was to punch the dagger hard enough to plunge it into the earth.
His fist flying forward without a thought, he was sure he had the speed to hit it, he didn't even have to use flux. Not that he would anyway, last time he almost lost his arm. His fist flew at a lighting speed, for he used most of the momentum he had to add speed, but something happened. As if planned, awaited, and triggered a gust of... Fire engulfed his fist.
Oh my petching gods!
Kise's fist instantly retracted, so fast he was unsure if he made contact. Rolling backwards, he wiggled his hand as if it had been cut off, sighing heavily. "Oh dear gods... Thank you..." He smiled smugly, happy that he was whole. "Where did... Fire come from? Oh yeah... She's a magic user."
"Ok woah! That was bad ass!" A truly excited K exclaimed. "Kise! When did you learn that? You were like, hyah! And fire and boom! And crack! Gods that was awesome!"
Kise slowly stood up, trying to address the situation. "That wasn't me..." He said bluntly, dusting himself off.
"K..."
