Her black hair reaches a few inches past her shoulders, and her skin tone is almond. Her hair is curly, although not frizzy but instead slightly wavy. Deep red highlights on her right, and silver on her left. Her eyes' colors change like so. From negative to positive: *Black and silver when in mourning -- akin to having a void ripping one's heart and chest towards the inside -- or under extreme torture. *Red and orange when angered or extremely tense and worried. *Grey and light blue when in discomfort or slightly irritated. *Hazel brown with green when thoughtful, melancholic, or just content and serene. *Pink and yellow -- with a slight hint of light green -- when feeling happy and satisfied. An example would be eating a lovely meal or laughing with friends. *Dark blue and violet when elated, excited, or in passion. Marked by a high level of energy. *All senses on fire. Concept Personality and Early History Liyana was born in Avanthal. Her father was a hunter and her mother a gardener and a cook. She was their only child, and they fought frequently due to their opposing temperaments and beliefs. This constant violence affected her deeply. At first she became anti-social, mirroring the violence she felt in her actions, but later she learned to embrace peace. No grudges. No aggressiveness. Ever. At a young age she was introduced to a philtering and took a liking to it, ignoring what any person had to say against it. She became more independent when she realized the futility of anger, and embraced her difference from others and rebelled in it. However, her faults are often her downfall. Not accepting other people's advice -- and wanting to make sure herself -- leads to risky and dangerous situations, and being withdrawn and introspective can often lead to seeming cold and cruel. However, anger is an emotion she has controlled almost entirely, due to her promising herself that she'll never degenerate to be like her mother or other moody people -- her worst nightmare and the cause of her internal struggle. She slowly practiced and trained philtering over the years. It was something she loved, and at times was the only reason she didn't give up. Her parent's death was unexpected. After the first wave of loss and confusion, Liyana managed to carry on. She eventually accepted the event that left her with more control over her life. [To Be Continued]
