Tressa nodded in the direction of the man, her acknowledgement of him finally getting her name right. Color came to her cheeks at the world beautiful and she took her gaze from him, the color leaving as quickly as it had come. She was a prideful creature, yes and she knew of her beauty. It was in her nature, but she had never flaunted it or attempted to reap it's benefits. The statement itself flattered her in a way. She could feel Leon's gaze steadily on her and she turned to him, meeting his eyes with her own. He looked at her often, she could sense it. His eyes held a look, a look she couldn't place. She knew the look of hatred, happiness, displeasure and many more, it wasn't any of these. It left her studying him, wondering what that glaze in his eyes meant. Her senses were left useless on him, almost like he blinded her. She wasn't left to mull over it very long as a commotion in the market crowd quickly exploded. “Thief” The words rang clearly out, heard by all. "I knew it, no surprise there." She mumbled not realizing that she had even voiced her thoughts. She was enthralled by the chaos. Almost as if in perfect sync the man quickly withdrew his offer, spilling his apologies and what not, her eyes followed his hand, watching him place gold coins into Leon's hand. Still his eyes were focused on her, she noticed him but curiosity had got the better of her and she peered on interested in what was to come, as it was clearly headed their way. Almost immediately two men, larger than most she'd seen emerged quickly from the disgruntled and shaken crowd, taking their stance before the mysterious man. Curiosity turned to shock and she backed away rather quickly, her almond shaped eyes widening at the sight, deciding to watch it unfold from a safer distance.
The men were obviously livid with this man and had every intention to harm him. A fight? The thought brought the animal in her back to it's position of power and she watched intently. Her senses prickled at the intensity of it all. Accusation, confrontation, testosterone, it was a deadly mix. What next? The man moved quickly, but her predatory eyes seen it all as he reached quickly beneath his cloak and withdrew a very full bag of loot, which he flung into the closer of the two aggressors face and quickly fled. Ah, it figures. Why stand and fight when you can cower and run. Prideless, guilty, human. Coins flew into the air, the gold of them gleaming as they hit the ground heavily. The victim of the coin assault took quick action and barreled off after the man. The hunt is on, she thought a smile forming on her lips. The second of the men quickly recovered what he could of the money before he too took pursuit after the man. Leon claimed a few of the forgotten coins, who wouldn't? Already a few of the jostled crowd members had begun to scope out the area. She felt no pity for him and as they disappeared into the night she found herself completely uninterested in his fate, luck or demise if it so happened that way. Disappointed in the turn out of the situation she made her way back to the two remaining men. As she approached the night too quickly ran off. Not long after his rapid departure came a shrill sound. It pierced her eardrums in a way that left her with her ears ringing, eyes closed and her hands tightly covering her ears while an expression of discomfort edging near pain came across her face.
She had recovered from the sound though her ears still rang uncomfortably long after the the sound had ended and the knight had returned. “No need for us to refrain from enjoying ourselves because of his problems” She offered a simple answer, figuring it was all that was needed. His gaze was on her again, those dark eyes boring into her. She took the opportunity to once again observe the mysterious look they held, yet found herself studying his features instead. He was nice looking, nice to look at. It was obvious he didn't indulge in his appearance, but men shouldn't. Though not overly done he was definitely no slob and he was handsome to say the least. . And he possessed an ability to bring out her humanity or maybe it wasn't humanity he brought out, maybe it was just a taming of the beast she was? She didn't like that idea and quickly pushed it from her mind. Still she found herself quite engrossed in him.
The knight spoke his apologies at the situation, showing concern at the outbreak. “No need to apologize for the actions of a fool, nor actions not made by your person.” She paused for a moment before finishing, “But be it at the hands of the law or by the hands of those he wronged i'm sure he'll get what he deserves. After all justice has many forms” A smirk crossed her face at the end of her statement and she looked hungrily in the direction of the tavern. Silently swearing to herself that any person who caused further commotion that happened to further delay her meal might just become a meal.
