It was obvious that the man in front of him was falling for Tressa. Romantic antics are not something to be scolded about, but in this case, the way the man carried himself was disturbing. It was the way he looked at her, like a predator stalking his prey. It was funny, in a way, that he didn't know how to act in this situation. When Wys told him it was rude to stare, he should have just averted his gaze instead of making more obvious. Eye candy is eye candy, but ogling is just creating an uncomfortable situation. Wys wouldn't alienate him so if the man just stopped tripping over every skirt that walked by.
Wys untied the sword, and leaned it on the chair. The weapon felt uncomfortable whilst sitting down. The crowd started picking up on the noise again, Wystern's presence getting noticed less and less. He saw a maid coming with the food, in the corner of his eye.
"I'm not sure what brought me here actually, other than it was my mother's wish to live here. It is very pretty here, and a bit over eventful, one will never get bored."
The Knight nodded carefully listening to the answer. In his experience, the Konti didn't exactly seek safety so much as knowledge, but who is he to judge. As for it being Eventful, it will grow on a person in due time. Still, at this point in time, he started to wonder if she really was a Konti, the beauty didn't seem too...human. It was just some inert feeling that he couldn't dismiss. He got those a lot, often without a justifiable reason, sort of intuitively.
"Well I came to this town for trade."
At this point in time, the maid came down with four jugs of ale accompanied by four bowls of stew. Wystern smiled and thanked her when she walked off.
He would pay when everyone was done.
"What kind of trade? Anything specific?"
