Fubuki Kouri

7th of Bell, 69th of Spring, 513 AV

It was a very lovely morning in the Bronze Woods. "Fuueeeeeh~" Kouri let out another fake yawn. She was sitting on her favorite tree branch of her favorite tree in the Bronze Woods, she called this tree home now. Another sleepless night... same old same old. The ghost girl couldn't feel periodic drowsiness like the living anymore, her only known way to feel sleepy was to exert herself to the point of exhaustion; but of course, she would not do that willingly. She may be mischievous, but she's not one of those people who likes to torture themselves.

"Uuuuuuuun~" Kouri cooed as she stretched her body and pulled her neck upwards, billowing her very long ethereal white hair. Opening her crimson red eyes, Kouri gazed directly at the morning sun, an act that would be seen as a shortcut to acquiring blindness if it was done by a normal human, but Kouri was not a normal human. She's what was left of a cheerful Vantha little girl after being slaughtered by a tiger.

Sigh... I wonder how long will this keep up... She sighed, a tinge of despair could be heard in her voice. A sense of tiredness washed over her, in the back of her mind, she wanted all of this to end. She wanted to just disappear and perhaps be reunited with her parents. This existence could not be called living, nothing was ever the same anymore. She couldn't eat, she couldn't drink, she couldn't sleep normally, and the worst of it all, she couldn't feel warm on her own anymore.

Kouri could only feel coldness coming from her own body and as such, she always craved for the body warmth of the living and greatly enjoyed to materialize herself and touched or be touched by one of the living; sucking their warmth and giving her frost touch in return.

"Now then... what should I do today?" She thought out loud. She couldn't just sit there doing nothing, her personality as an extroverted, energetic, and cheerful girl didn't let her. Hmmm... I'll think I'll go exploring today... Even though she had been living in the Woods for quite some time now, she haven't explore all nooks and crannies of it yet. The forest was too big to be explored in a single day, even for a being who requires no physical sustenance as herself.

Oh yeah! As if remembering something, an ethereal black tendril jutted out from Kouri's back, went into the tree hole where she stashed her belongings, and grabbed something. When she pulled it out, metallic glints of four daggers could be seen, all held in a coil made by her tendril.

"Ehehehe~" She examined her precious daggers and flashed a grin, three steel daggers and one cold iron dagger. Hehehe, I'll explore, find a few good animals, and practice on them... Kouri was planning to agitate some wolves to attack her and when they attack, she would practice, as in killing, with her techniques on the wolves. She viewed wolves as nuisances and killing them didn't matter at all, no matter how many she killed, they seemed to never decrease in numbers. I hope Akilia doesn't see me today... Akilia, her wolf Kelvic friend didn't condone the murder of animals for sport and she would most likely berate Kouri if she saw her doing just that.

Kouri elegantly floated down from the tree branch and stopped just a few inches before actually touching the ground, her dainty little high-heeled red shoes floating in mid-air. She then changed the shape of her hold on her daggers, they were now arranged like a make-shift chakram made of daggers for the blade, one of her fighting techniques.

"Ehehehe~" She giggled as she turned around like a ballerina once, swinging her dagger-chakram three times around herself. They sang through the air beautifully. Kouri smiled, it would be satisfying to see this chakram of hers cut through the flesh of wolves, let them feel what it's like to be bitten. With that thought in mind, Kouri floated away from the clearing near her tree, heading deeper into the forest; her chakram obediently followed its master along the way.

[Bronze Woods] Haunting a Hermit (Quinn)

Postby Quinn Harpe on May 12th, 2013, 7:46 pm

At the stroke of the seventh bell, Quinn was already awakening within his tree. Stretching out and yawning, a numb hand rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Lifting his head from his backpack to look towards the ground below, he saw a rather large wolf settled underneath, the same which had chased him up the night before, a decent exercise that was. Resituating to straddle the thick branch he had laid upon he delves into the recesses of his backpack to withdraw a razor and a piece of fruit.

He took to shaving first, erasing the stubble from his narrow chin and high cheeks. Only half way through his morning shave the wolf awoke as well, and in a recharged gusto the beast began to howl at Quinn. Leaping up and clawing at the tree bark, it simply could not climb high enough to grab a dangling foot. After stuffing his razor into his back and moving on to breakfast, his free hand began reaching out to the nearby branches to remove pieces of leather armor and lash them on to his legs first, then as he finishes the fruit his arms. Tossing the core of the fruit to the ground, it distracted the wolf for only a moment, long enough for Quinn to snag up his backpack and swing a leg over the branch to drop down.

With a foot placed to the trunk, then the other stepping onto the head of the wolf he used the two to kick start a hasty sprint and give himself a bit of a head start in his morning run, which today was fueled by the desire not to be mauled... Though the wolf was faster, Quinn could leap, twist and turn a bit better, and as a bonus, when the beast drew too close he would turn and lash out with a foot to the side of the wolf's head... Though some found these creatures a bother, this was a favorite past time of the Hermit. Chased by wild animals, or chasing them was always the best way to run.

By the time Quinn had entered the thicker region of the Bronze Forest his left leg had drops of wolfblood trailing over the protective leather. The beast seemed dedicated however, and despite bruising it still attempted to shred anything it came close enough to. The barefoot Quinn had plenty of practice against wolves lately, making him a very hard meal. At this point, the wolf was only chasing him out of sheer aggression. Each time Quinn stumbles, slips or hesitates the wolf leaps to attack. More and more often through the run, Quinn found himself wrestling the beast with his back to the ground, throwing him off just long enough to get to his feet and continue the exercise.

"Ehehehehe~" Kouri twirled around as she floated through the forest, making motions only an expert ballerina could do for she requires no balancing and muscle memory as her ghostly form defied gravity and well... she had no muscles. The dagger chakram also followed suit, spinning on its own axis and revolving around its master, like a planet revolving around the sun while spinning on its own.

"Haiya~ Ey~" She spun around the chakram low on the ground horizontally, cutting tall grasses and flowers in the process. Uuuun~ Where are the wolves? She haven't found a single dangerous animal in her venture so far, only rabbits, deers, and other non-threatening animals that are boring to kill.

Then... she heard something. A howl? Yay! Hahahahaha! A howling, most likely belonging to a wolf, could be heard in the distance. Kouri was now in a part of the forest she never wandered before, but that's what she was here for, to explore new areas and kill some game in the process.

"Here I come!" Kouri spun once and positioned herself as if she's an arrow. With a grin, she began to 'flew' through the forest. Her chakram immediately flew beside her, ready to hunt for its master. Kouri phased through trees and plants but taking care not to let her chakram hit anything too hard.

Half a chime later, she arrived at the scene shortly followed by her chakram who began doing its usual routine, revolving around its master. "Hmmmm?" Kouri came upon an intriguing scene, a shirtless tall, well-built man... with dark hair and jade green eyes was chased by a rather large wolf. "Oh, hehehe~ I will help hi- huh?" Kouri stopped mid-sentence as the man's movement seemed precise and controlled, like he wanted to be chased on purpose. Kouri could detect no sense of fear from his motions.

"......." She tilted her head in confusion. Is he playing around with the wolf? But it seemed like the wolf is not playing around... She made a thoughtful expression, her chakram also stopped spinning as if brainstorming for an answer together with its master. !? When he saw the man being pushed down by the wolf, Kouri could not wait anymore. This man's life could be in danger! She immediately charged to the location, the chakram on her side, ready to attack.

The man threw off the wolf. Good! This gives a chance for Kouri to attack, as the wolf recovered from the man's throw. Kouri blinked for a short distance and appeared between the man and the wolf. "Eheheheheheh~ Hello... doggie~ ♥" Her eerily haunting giggle and taunt echoed in the air.

The wolf's sharp senses immediately something wrong with the being in front of it. Its primal instincts telling it to retreat as it could feel Kouri's chilling presence. But it would not do so, its pride as a pack hunter would not let it give up just yet. Offsetting its fear with aggression, the wolf snarled and barked at Kouri.

"Come! Come at me, dog!!" Kouri narrowed her pupils into serpentine slits and magically lost her hair ribbons, spreading her very long ethereal hair like a cobra hood. The chakram spun dangerously faster at her side, preparing to butcher this dog into a bloody mess.

The wolf then made the worst and final decision of its life, it charged at Kouri and leaped, baring its fangs and claws to tear this little girl's throat. Then... *GNASH!! GNASH!! GNASH!! GNASH!! GNASH!! GNASH!! GNASH!!* The repeated gory sounds of flesh being ravaged could be heard. The wolf felt extreme pain and its vision was filled with red, its own blood. Just before the wolf reached her, Kouri launched her chakram, it flew very close to the wolf's underside and butchered it from its snout to its stomach to the end of its body, cutting open its body like a pig in a butchery.

"HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Kouri laughed maniacallly, relishing every second, every pain the wolf must be feeling in its last moments. The chakram, finishing its grueseome task, then flew back to its master. The individual daggers coated in fresh wolf blood.

The wolf immediately died and fell to the ground, its entrails spread out before the phantom like spilled red soup. Satisfied with her kill, Kouri turned around to face the tall man. Still in her battle posture, serpentine pupils and spread out hair. Flashing a toothy grin, Kouri spoke to the man "It's not over yet, wolves hunt in pack, Sir... we have more preys to kill! Hahahahahahahaha!". As a rather experienced wolf hunter, Kouri knew that wolves rarely hunt alone. It would most likely called its brethren with its howl earlier.

Kouri flew to the man's side, positioning herself to be back-to-back with the man. Then she warned him "Hehehehe~ Don't worry, I'm your ally..." As soon as she said that, howlings all around them could be heard, and silhouettes of wolves could be seen behind the tall trees surrounding the odd pair.

"Hehehe... I think there are four wolves around us... though there might be more... those dogs are good at sneak attacks anyway..." She positioned the chakram in front of herself. Ready to slaughter another pack today.

[Bronze Woods] Haunting a Hermit (Quinn)

Postby Quinn Harpe on May 13th, 2013, 11:08 am

After having thrown off the creature, Quinn spun to his feet and had prepared to run once more. A chill in the air stopped him dead, a term fitting for what he saw when investigating. To him, the ghost's unusual posture was noticeable. He saw how the strange being seemed to float with every motion, how she flew more than ran. When she took position between him and the wolf, Quinn frowned. The display deepened when he heard the first telltale sounds of violence and blades sinking into soft flesh and the muscle underneath. Though at this point he opened his mouth to speak, he found little to say before that chakram of spiraling metal sliced clean through the wolf's underbelly like a circular saw.

The violence was not something he was used to, in fact it was not something he would ever grow used to... When he killed it was by the snap of a neck or internal damage, but such carnage spilled on a creature no more harmless than a young lad with a sword was monstrous. Her words caught his attention. More wolves? Of course there were more, he had attracted one the previous night for a day of training with the creatures... and now this woman wanted to kill them all... Of course as she took station by his side in preparation for a battle which would bear neither a challenge due to skill versus primal animals, nor friendship due to their varying ways of downing such foes.

When he saw the outlines of wolves on all corners, Quinn finally found his tongue. "This was a controlled exercise..." That was all he said before the creatures were primed for war on the human and the ghost. Two charged at one time while the other two loom closer, but await their turn, searching for openings. With a lift of his foot, Quinn struck out to catch a gaping maw by the lower jaw with the crook of his leather clad ankle and slam it upwards, snapping the jaw shut. A sharp yelp signified the pain it had caused, and already the wolf retreated to the two still watching.

Quinn had turned to look to the other wolf, but it came on Kouri's side, dashing in to try and snag her ankle in a powerful bite. Knowing what came next, Quinn averted his gaze to the others. With a stomp of his bare foot upon the ground they flinch backwards. They did not flee, but still they had become aware this pray was stronger than it appeared, like a brightly colored frog held poison, these two held an equal danger.

"Eh? Controlled exercise?" Kouri made a thoughtful expression, one that could be seen as foolish in a battle situation, but Kouri didn't care about that; what could a pack of wolves do to her anyway? Besides charging to their death of course.

What does he mean by that? She took her time even as two of the wolves charged at her and the bare-chested man. Oh well~ I'll ask him later, for now... I got preys to kill, uehehehehe... She nodded and rubbed her hands together, the chakram beside her moved up and down as if agreeing with its master.

She saw the man struck an attacking wolf with a powerful kick from his ankle. Woah... he's good... ehehehe~ Kouri couldn't help but fascinated by this man's calmness even in battle. If Kouri was a human girl, she would screamed and wailed in panic and most likely be devoured by the wolves.

Then.. *snap!* A sound of a jaw snapping close could be heard from Kouri's left ankle. "Hm? Oh~ hello, Doggie~" Kouri casually looked down and she saw a bewildered wolf, part of its snout was now 'inside' Kouri's ankle, phasing through her harmlessly. "Ehehehe~" She giggled and moved her feet then she crouched down to stare at the wolf eye-to-eye. The wolf was visibly confused at the development, but it snarled at Kouri nonetheless and tried to bite her again.

"Heh..." Kouri flashed a malicious grin as she materialized herself, raised both of her index fingers, and poked the wolf in its eyes. The chill frost touch of a phantom touching the tender tissue of the wolf's eyes made it screamed in pain, it rolled around on the ground, whimpering in agony.

"Ku ku ku~♥" Kouri made a precise three-part cutely sadistic giggle. Then she patted the wolf's head whispering, "Sssssh... it's going to be okay..." before she... *GNASH!!* dropped down her chakram near the wolf's face and rapidly spun it, slicing and destroying both of the wolf's eye sockets. The sound of eyes popping was like music to her ears, Kouri then gave a final pat on the animal she had just brutally butchered. "Like I said, it's going to be okay~"

She then unmaterialized herself, stood up, and saw the three other wolves. They were now a bit hesitant to just charge, seeing two of their brethren reduced to bloody pulps. Kouri beamed the wolves a happy grin, the chakram spun beside her as if grinning together with its owner. "This is fun, right, Sir? Eheheheh~"

Then... a loud howling could be heard, this time much louder and terrifying than usual. "Oh... looks like the boss is coming..." Kouri smiled in anticipation, killing the alpha is much more satisfying than these small fries.

A large wolf, larger than the one previously chasing the martial artist, with jet black fur appeared. It has numerous battle-scars across its body, marks of a veteran warrior that had survived numerous battles. It stood in front of his pack and howled again. At its command, three more wolves appeared and stood beside its alpha. All in all, the hermit and the ghost were now facing with a pack of seven wolves.

"Sir... that one looks strong, ehehehe... do you think you can handle it?" Kouri said 'you' not 'we' because she knew this is a one-sided battle for her, but she would really appreciate it if the man survived this battle together with her. His abilities intrigued her and she wanted to know him more.

The alpha howled, signalling for an attack, the pack then howled as well, following its leader. Then... they all charge together, intent on taking down both the man and the apparition. "Tsk tsk tsk~ they never learn... hehehe~" Kouri immediately blinked forward, appearing in front of the wolves and grinned from ear to ear, literally as parts of her cheeks disappeared, revealing a clean glasgow grin. "Come..." She held her right hand forward and made a taunting motion, her chakram flew in front of her hand, ready for battle.

"Hahahahahahaha!!!" Her haunting laughter echoed in the air. The alpha wolves snarled something to its pack as if forming a plan, it would not let its pack be humiliated like this. The other wolves barked back as if acknowledging an order from its alpha. It seemed they were indeed forming a plan as the jet-black alpha ran past Kouri and charged at the hermit.

"Tsk, Sir!" Kouri turned around, she was afraid this huge alpha wolf was too much for the man, but she was halted when all six wolves surrounded her. All of them snarling and barking at her. They wanted revenge, revenge for slaying their brethren and this monster would pay with her blood. What they didn't get though is it was completely futile unless one of them could learn magic which was highly unlikely unless one of the wolves is a Kelvic.

"Heh... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Come then, dogs!! The day is still young! Bare your fangs! come at me! Bite me! Hurry! Hurry! KUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Kouri spun around, locking her crimson red gaze with each of the wolves.

The ground shall run red with blood

[Bronze Woods] Haunting a Hermit (Quinn)

Postby Quinn Harpe on May 14th, 2013, 4:36 am

The sick display of taunting a wounded foe and the promise of sanctuary despite the inevitable death she brought... this being was not one he would trust in his lifetime, not probably in the next. He had turned his gaze from the display but the sounds were of a nightmare to his ears. The wails of the butchered beast disgusted him. It was a poor creature of primal instinct, and yet she seemed the more primitive and vulgar in this battle.

When the howls rang out with one above the rest, Quinn's attention drew towards that beast of a call. The alpha wolf, by now he would have been long gone before this magnificent beast had shown up. He knew that killing this creature and the pack of wolves would be less than an admirable battle and may lead to other vicious creatures taking over the Bronze Woods without these here to run them off... but if he denied, he had little idea how stable this ghost's mind was. Would he become the enemy? Could he even fight a ghost with hand to hand?

That thought would have to wait, the beast of an alpha had come charging past the ghostly being for him. Did it really consider him the weakest link, because of his humanity? Quinn felt as if he should be embarrassed, taking on one while six others attacked the ghost...

With a sigh, he felt it was time to move to the attack. His stance changed almost entirely. Having been open palm, straight fingers, his hands had taken to clawlike positions and angled with palms to the ground instead of defensively towards the wolf. Where his left had been outstretched towards the beast and his right in the opposite direction for a perfect line from palm to palm he now bent his left elbow and held the right closer to his abdomen, where the hand mirrored the other and faced the sky. His chest had been pointed to the side, narrowing his open stance but now it was turned towards the beast an obtuse angle. The right leg which had faced away had been straight, but now it bent and the left which had been bent now straightened halfway for a right angle, still leaving him low to the ground.

"From the gentle rain to the burning sun." He spoke to himself, as if coordinating his own body verbally. The change had been swift and it set just as fast. No limb had jerked, they all held a fluid start that sped until they were like the tongues of a stoked flame. The combat style would be somewhat unique and rather dramatic in its fundamental bases, but when put to the test it seemed quite capable.

The Alpha wolf was given no time to strike first, Quinn was already extending the bent knee to launch himself onto his straight leg and as if pole-vaulting overh is own limb his body spun like a pendulum to bring down his now airborne leg to slam a bare heel onto the snout of the creature, pushing it nosefirst into the ground with its own momentum. Quinn had given himself much needed time, as his own momentum sent his body off balance and down to his left knee. Recovering with one hand to the ground to push him up in a backwards step the wolf had regained itself at the same time. The kick may have been hard and hit square, but he could not muster enough force to do any deterring damage.

As the beast leaped towards Quinn with open maw, the hermit did something rather strange. Moving in to the attack he swung a fist to the side of the beast's head to turn him mid-air. The jaws narrowly missed his face, but the creature's head moved passed his shoulder nonetheless allowing his free arm to rise and cradle a thick, furry neck. As the beast continued on its tradjectory, Quinn continued on his, but now he was anchored and swung up with a single step's boost and grasped for his own hands. His legs stradled the beast which soon recovers once more and attempted to turn and snap at him with wild twists of its body.

When the beast would not allow Quinn to lock it into a chokehold, the Hermit found a different way. When the beast tried to snap at his hand, he snags the wolf's upper jaw and pulled. At first the sharp canines of its bottom jaw could snap closed on Quinn's gauntlet, but soon he had strained the muscle of the neck so the jaw could not close. Releasing the neck for his other hand to join the first to keep the alpha from trying to shake him off. His legs locked and with a groan of strain, the Hermit began to pull.

Harder and harder, till the muscles of the wolf's neck began to rip from the inside out. Before the job could be done, Quinn was thrown off when the beast flops to its side. Rolling to his feet and retaking his full aggressive stance for but a second before dashing forward he aimed a swift kick to the wolf's neck. When the beast is knocked to one side the foot dropped to the ground and the other rose to connect to the same location. Three more times for a total of twelve kicks, then the beast falls. Though blood trickled from its mouth, the neck did not look visibly torn.

The alpha wolf let out a low growl, this prey was strong, it provided a challenge and that's just how the alpha liked it. The alpha then began circling the hermit, searching for an opening. It knew now that frontal charge won't work against this particular prey, its rather intelligent mind began forming a plan and it howled.

"Hehehehehe! Hahahahah- Hey wait!!" Kouri's laughter was cut off as two of the wolves disengage her and went to the alpha's side, backing it up. "...." The man was surrounded by three wolves now, Kouri knew that if she didn't take care of the other four still surrounding her, they would join the Alpha in gang-banging the man. "...." She cocked her head back to the four wolves still surrounding her.

Flashing a wicked grin, Kouri vanished from her location. The four wolves were visibly confused, looking all around and sniffing the air to locate their ethereal target. "Hello~♪" Kouri's echoing voice was heard as she appeared directly above one of the wolves, lying on its back and hugging its body tight. "Kehehehehe~" The rided wolf's eyes went wide in shock as chill ran across its body, then... a pair of pale hands covered its eyes from above and pressed hard against the delicate tissue of its eyes.

The wolf screamed in pain as Kouri materialized herself and pressed both of her thumbs to his eyes, then she launched the chakram to its face. "Doggie, look! Catch~♪!" Kouri said, as if commanding the wolf to catch a frisbee like a domesticated dog.

Then of course... the wolf caught the frisbee, with his eyes. *STAB!* That beautiful gory sound of cold hard steel cutting through flesh was heard. The wolf's left eye was now fatally replaced by piece of steel, a dagger. "Hehe~♪" Kouri patted the dead wolf's head as she unmaterialized herself, stood up, and hopped down from its corpse. She violently removed her chakram from the wolf's eye socket, fresh blood immediately poured down from its ravaged socket like a red waterfall. "Three down... six to go..."

The other three wolves facing Kouri were visibly intimidated, what kind of prey is this? No, it's no prey, it's a monster. A monster hell-bent on slaughtering their pack. Some of them let out small whimpers, but their loyalty to the alpha prevented them from just running away. They would never leave the alpha, even to their death.

They had no other options but to charge at this monster, so charged they did. The three wolves lunged at the monster at the same time, baring their claws and fangs. The monster of course, merely smiled with her blood-soaked weapon floating near her.

*Woooosh!* As expected, they failed, they went through the monster's body as if she was air. The three wolves went tumbling down to the ground, not expecting they would phase through the monster's body. Their rear was now facing the monster.

"Kahahahahahahahahaha!!!" The monster's high-pitched cackle echoed in the woods. She stabbed her weapon to the ground, the chakram separating into four individual daggers, then she picked up one of the daggers...

*GNASH!!!* "Ihihihihihihi~" Kouri put both of her hands to her grinning mouth, guffawing happily. An ethereal black tendril jutted out from her back and traveled all the way through the air to one of the wolves'... rear hole. "HOW DOES IT FEEL?!" She jammed the dagger deeper and deeper into the place where it dump bodily waste with. It screamed and whimpered in pain, fresh blood dripping from its orifice. "DOES IT HURT?! DOES IT?" Kouri showered the wolves with questions, it was answered with howling of pain and suffering.

Once she felt the dagger was deep enough, she trashed around the dagger inside the wolf's stomach; destroying its internal organs. Its other two comrades could only watched in fear. What can they do against an ethereal monster like this? But they could not disobey the alpha's orders. They would prefer death than doing so.

*SQUASH!* The dagger came out of the wolf's mouth, piercing it all the way from its rear. "HAHAHAHA! AAAHAHAHAHAHA!!" The phantom cackled in sadistic glee as she pulled back the dagger, it entered the dead wolf's mouth again, traveled all they through its ravaged insides, and went out of its destroyed rear hole. Kouri then put the blood-soaked dagger near her face. Flashing a wicked grin not befitting her appearance. "Four down.. five to go..."

She then looked back to check-up on the martial artist, did he fared well against those three wolves or would she have to help?

[Bronze Woods] Haunting a Hermit (Quinn)

Postby Quinn Harpe on May 14th, 2013, 11:39 pm

As the alpha began circling him, Quinn paused long enough to watch. Still he held the fiery stance, limbs tensed and coiled, ready to strike. The howl brought a grimace to the Hermit's lips as two more joined in. How had this gone so wrong? The question burned in his mind. Was it her? Despite the wolves nearing him, Quinn turned his gaze onto the ghost... the monster...

The wolves took this opportunity to strike. Thw two smaller ones dashed in and leaped with open maws. The movement caught only barely in the corner of his eye, Quinn turns back and foolishly lashes out with a swift punch. It landed horridly, sinking into a wolf's gaping maw and down a slick throat which soon clamped and struggled as the fist began to sufficate the wolf. With jaws clamping down on Quinn's arm, the beast's jaw was parted too wide to apply its full power. Quinn lifted his fist, curling his arm to hold the wolf pinned as it was.

To the other wolf he lifted a leg in attempt to kick it right from the air, but this time the jaw had managed to clamp down solidly on his ankle, holding it in mid air before the wolf tugged ripped and pulled. The leather around his ankle held, but Quinn knew it would not be for long, and already the Alpha was moving in, seeing his prey open. Quinn shifted the foot which remained grounded and slung his free hand to grasp the fur on the back of the arm-biting wolf's neck. "Magma cools to stone... Magma cools to stone..." He had to repeat that one, as if it was not a regular transition for him.

Using the arm within the wolf's throat and the one clutching the fur of its neck, Quinn lifts and with a grunt he slams the beast into that which held his leg. A unison of two yelps rang out, one gargled and muffled. The wolf gnawing his leg had released and the force from the blow had snapped the wolf-gauntlet's neck. The Alpha moved in while Quinn's back was turned to deal with the other living wolf, but as the one on his arm slid off, Quinn had a different plan.

It was an almost instant move. One glance over his shoulder was the start of a fluid turn which brought his torso forward and hands stretched to the ground. One leg lifted with knee bend to slam the lower jaw of the Alpha into the upper, before his grounded leg pushed off to transition weight to his hands. With momentum the newly rising foot caught the wolf's momentum driven body under the chest with a flat foot and kicked it clean off the ground. Only a few feet, till his foot slipped free, but with the arch of his back his feet had hit ground and his torso rose. Arms reach up to wrap around the beast's lower frame near its rear to rotate and shift the center of gravity. When Quinn was up right he fluidly hopped up and clamped his knees on either side of the wolf's head to keep it straight, before they dropped to the ground with unified weight.

*Clrlrack!*

Several bone chilling pops and cracks were heard from the wolf's neck and spine. The Alpha's larger weight along with Quinn's and the angle of impact had left a mess of the beast's spine from the neck down to the fifth vertebrae. As the wolf fell limp in all of one fluid motion from attack to death, Quinn set there on his knees, his breath labored and his body tired. There was only one left from his force, but the alpha was dead, would it still attack?

Again, he had to glance at the ghost, to see how she fared with the situation. IT was only then did he see the intrusion of a blade through a wolf's rear and out of its mouth - utterly disgusting, and far too violent and merciless for his liking. This... This Thing truly was a monster...

"Hahahaha! Awesome!!" Kouri exclaimed as she saw the man made fluid grappling motion and slammed the Alpha to the ground, the sweet sounds of bones snapping and breaking echoed in the area. "Aaaaah~" Kouri put both of her hands to her cheeks and swayed her body left and right. Blushes formed in her cheeks, she was literally experiencing sick pleasure from the wolves' suffering.

The alpha fell, it died honorably as a warrior who defended its pack. With its leader dead, the remaining wolves whimpered and yelped in fear, they immediately ran to the forest depths with their tail between their legs. "Bye bye~♪ See you again in the future~♪" She waved the wolves a cute-sounding good-bye.

"Hehehehe~" She giggled as she joined her dagger with the others, picked them all, and formed them into a spinning chakram once more. The obedient servant of a weapon then proceeded to spun around its master as usual. Kouri slowly turned her body to face the martial artists.

They were now facing each other separated at about nine feet of distance. Amongst the blood-soaked corpse of wolves, the odd pair faced each other. A breeze of forlorn wind blew past them, sending leaves and flower petals floating in the air. The extreme contrast of the two beings facing each other combined with the gruesome corpses of wolves and beautiful forest scenery created a rather dramatic scene worthy of a painting.

"Hehehe~ Good job, Sir! What's your name?" She tilted her head, this man was very strong and it intrigued her child-like curiosity.
