Built into the cliffs overlooking the Suvan Sea, Riverfall resides on the edge of grasslands of Cyphrus where the Bluevein River plunges off the plain and cascades down to the inland sea below. Home of the Akalak, Riverfall is a self-supporting city populated by devoted warriors. [Riverfall Codex]

Mongoose glanced up at the building in front of her, anhe walked up and down the front of it, with her Py-pole wobbling, strapped to her back. She looked down the side of the building, seeing glass windows abound. Well, there was one way to find out what was going on insid then back down to the scroll she'd been given when she'd entered the city. The scroll had an advertisement for a place called the Kendoka Sasaran, where she could get a lesson in armed combat. According to the map, she was in the right place, but there was no sign or anything indicating what it was exactly, and she wasn't about to stride into someone's home. Sde. She started down the path, walking nonchalantly, trying to look as if she weren't on a mission.

She saw nothing to climb up on to see in the windows, so she'd have to improvise. She walked up beneath one of the windows, looked up, noting it was only a foot or two higher than her. She pulled her Py-pole off her back, and took several steps back from the window, noting the sill was wide enough for her to land on. She took a few more steps back, held the pole out in front of her, with most of the length at one end. She ran forward, trying to be as silent as she could be. As she got closer to the window, she jammed the non-spiked end of the pole into the dirt, and jumped, hoping the pole would carry her up to the window. Which it didn't. As she found out by falling back to the ground, landing on her back, then getting whapped in the face by her pole.

"Ow..."

She pulled herself back up, and tried it again. As she charged this time she leapt harder, earlier, and the pole managed to carry her forward. Straight into the wall next to the window with small splat. She lay there, stuck against the wall in pain and shame, when she felt herself beginning to fall away. She quickly grabbed onto the window sill, and yanked herself onto it. She collapsed on the sill, deciding to throw herself into her training, because that hurt something fierce. She glanced in the window, and saw a bunch of men in their battering each other with wooden weapons. "Well at least I found the right place."
