Ra’eesah is a rare beauty amongst her family. Her parents were both fair but she got her looks from her great grandmother who had dark brown almost black hair and olive skin. Her eyes were her mother’s eyes and a striking gray, not a color you usually saw with one of her coloring. She stands five foot six inches. Her body is athletic and fit but curvy. Her skin is flawless. She has full lips and a bright smile which is seen often. She will always be found with some kind of adornment on whether it is in her hair, or jewelry.

CHARACTER CONCEPT

Ra’eesah is a loving, loyal and vivacious woman. She has a quick wit about her and loves teasing with others. She is intelligent and always wanting to learn. She is a hard worker and always strives to do her best. She is fiercely loyal to those she loves. She likes to make things better for those around her. Her mother thinks that she may be a romancer and is training her in magic. Many say she will be a good wife and mother when the right man comes along. She is of the Opal Clan, waiting for full membership once she acquires her windmarks.

CHARACTER HISTORY

Ra’eesah was born in Endrykas, her birth coming at a very inconvenient time for her mother. She made her entrance into the world when they were packing up to move to the next area on the groups travels. She was a happy and precocious child as she grew up. Her parents loved her dearly but never let her have the easy way out of anything. Life could be difficult in the grasslands and everyone had to do their part.

Ra’eesah’s mother would often tell her that her jubilance was inconvenient but the girl would only hug her mother and laugh at her complaints. For her, being a nomad was something special and a life she loved. She liked that she could see the different areas of the grasslands depending on the season. It was hard to imagine living life any other way. She had freedom that she knew other races most likely did not have. She liked being able to gather the herbs and plants that were needed for daily life. She liked to help with the Zibri when she had chance.

The ways of her people were taught to Ra’eesah by her mother and father. She was proficient in hunting and fishing and cooking. Her training also included the magic that the Dryka’s were known for. Her mother was a part of the Opal Clan and was well versed with healing. She spent time teaching her daughter about the different herbs that she would need to be a good healer. Ra’eesah’s parents have done a good job training her in the important things that will be needed in a marriage and as a mother.

Ra’eesah has yet to be chosen by a strider and therefore does not bear windmarks yet. Her parents are part of the Opal Clan but until she is able to obtain her windmarks she cannot be a full member. She is frustrated that she has made it to adulthood without finding her horse. She prays it comes quickly.

Ra'eesah was able to bind to her Strider, Kawa, day 25 of the summer of 513 AV.
