The kelvic's ears continued to twitch each time the woman spoke. She even tilted her head a few times while trying to decipher the squires slurred speech. Kyra found it interesting and if she had met this woman a year and a half ago it would have been quite the scene. When she was just a teen, Kyra had developed the habit of mimicking others speech, and did so all of the time. Some people didn't like it as much and others found it cute.
"I agree, I find the forest to be comforting in many ways. In the city is it too noisy and some many people. I feel I will never get used to it."
Kyra blinked curiously at the words of the woman which should have been taken as a joke. But Kyra could see it, the woman was big enough to crush others smaller than her, just as the crazed four-armed woman had tried to crush her. "That sounds awfully painful."
It was a good thing that she had decided to change the subject when she did, the woman seemed to be offended when she spoke badly against dogs, and even yelled at her, at least..it seemed like that was what she was doing. "You're a very different squire...aren't you?" When it came to the subject of coin, Kyra found that she could understand exactly what it was like. Although her own childhood had been pampered and cared for, her life as it was now would be considered poorish at least.
Now it was Kyra's turn to talk and tell about her life. She was normally tight lipped about it, but now that more people were asking about her past, she learned it was easier to just tell what happened. "My mother is gone, so is Jacques, and Marcelo. It's just me now." With all the talk, the kelvic hadn't realized that they had made it back to the city. They were still outside of the gates, but the stables were close by and beyond that the stone prison awaited. "Are you feeling better now? Do you still need a doctor?"
